I appologize for not being able to make the meeting. Funny that I could not make it as it was my Pen and Paper Pathfinder group play night. I also am currently playing a cleric of Milani in our Kingmaker campaign. Normally my 2nd when we were in VG or currenty ESO would attend, however he is also a play in the Kingmaker campaign.

However it is still the intent of Brains and Brawn to join the alliance.

Just need to meet on a nigth other than my game night. :)

Exmortis,
Founder/Leader Bains and Brawn.
(for the record, I am neither)

My wife and I were really good friends with Semihemi. I wish I could convince more of those guys to come check out PFO...

Nihimon lets out a long, sorrowful sigh, contemplating what might have been.

I have a thread on the Cast aways of Telon site, seeing how many VG players I can have come over, either to join us or bring their guild with them.

As PO Kickstart and early release unfolds, I will update it trying to entice as many as I can. But the sunset of VG has also seen a sunset for many MMO players, after my ESO experience left me wanting, PO may be my last kick at the MMO can as well.

Good to hear from you and about Brains and Brawn, Exmortis! I've been wondering who our relatively quiet neighbors were. Hopefully we can speak more in depth in the future.

HAHA well met, and yeah some of my more active members and early release PO players have been bugging me to get active with PO and get us up to speed. So now that I am back from my 3wks vacation and the land rush is winding down, I figured it is time.

I may be queit but I carry a big sword (I have a 6' 8" scottish lowland merc sword hanging above my bed, in case of break in, figure it will ensure a rethinking of intrusion to my place).

I don't know why I didn't put two and two together before, but I recognize your guild name from Vanguard. I was there mostly on Khimber in Alliance of the Griffin. I don't know if we ever grouped together much, but I'd bet money you know Umpas/Borix - he was quite a character :)

As the end approached, we spent a lot of time with Final Resolve (Krolk is awesome) trying to get most of our folks to experience some of the end-game stuff. I'd love to chat with you and reminisce - Vanguard had its flaws (and plenty of 'em!) but it captured something really special for the folks who appreciated it.

Ah yes I sure do know your name, and AotG as well. Though I did not participate with them often. In the end we established a raiding alliance with Unleashed, great crew. I am sure we grouped many times, my other of my main six (all journeyman crafters hehe) were Falcron, Treager, Fhailse, Goraag and Scrotal.

I know Korlk but my main experience with FR was back on Gulgrethor when I was a founding member when guild was first forming. Was a sad day when Kare past on, she was a great person and a massive help to us with her donation of 40 fungus for the mortar on our GH. My release play group joined FR when they were first forming, representing some of the earliest players to the 40s in VG, which was a drag as swamp armor was not even in game yet when we hit 40, causing most to leave.

We have dracosy, Femic, Xuluas, myself, and few others from VG early days ready for PO release.

Great to see a familiar VG face, and always have time to share stories of the VG days of high adventure!

The Roseblood Accord is a group of sovereign player organizations united not under central authority, but in our agreement to promote by example the goals of positive gameplay and the mutual success of its members. It is our belief that positive gameplay improves everyone’s experience, and we are dedicated to providing a place in Pathfinder Online where players who seek such an experience can find it. Towards that end, we have come together to announce our intentions to the community, and to invite all who share these goals to join us.

The name, Roseblood, stems from the symbol of Milani, a minor Goddess who is well revered in the River Kingdoms. While we do not necessarily worship her, nor advocate her alignment, we venerate her stance against oppression; specifically when we make the metagaming step of equating negative game play to oppression. In homage, we choose to use her sigil as inspiration, a beautiful yet thorn laden rose, rising up from bloodstained cobblestones.

If your group is interested in joining the Roseblood Accord, simply state your intent below. If you have any questions, please send a private message on these forums to Lifedragn or Nihimon.

If you are an individual interested in joining the Roseblood Accord, please see below for a brief description of each accord member and how to contact them. For a complete and up-to-date list of current accord members, please see the Roseblood Accord list.

The Empyrean Order (Brighthaven) and The Seventh Veil (Phaeros) have already been granted our Settlement locations at [04,11] and [00,17] in the southeast corner of the Early Enrollment map. Strictly as a matter of logistics, accord members who establish themselves in this area can expect the most support. Members who choose to settle elsewhere are welcome to join, but...

As Founder and Leader I would put fourth the intent of Brains and Brawn to seek membership in the Roseblood Accord upon firm knowledge of our final land rush location. As a small guild we have seen our location moved around alot, been contacted for alliance only to see us bumped or those who contacted us bumped. I believe we are in most likely final location fo the rush however, and that seems to land us right smack in Roseblood Accords territory.

Quick BnB history:
The core of the guild has played many games together dating back to UO, however the guild saw it true formation within EverQuest. We moved unto EverQuest II after its release, but soon disbanded when we found the game seriously lacking. The guild reformed in Vanguard, and there saw our greatest sucess, until the announcemnt of sunset for the game. Now we have splinter factions in FFXVI, WoW, Istaria and mainly we see most of the guild in ESO. We hope to see most of the core return together for Pathfinder Online with its public release.

Myself and the original co-founder will be reuniting for Pathfinder Online kickstarter release. We have at our player core, our real life Pathfinder Pen and Paper gaming group as part of the kickstarter release, with more now coming in for early release.

Brains and Brawn has always been about casual small guild success doing more with dedicated cooperation, rather then sheer numbers. Everyone knows you in Brains and Brawn, we are people not numbers on the balance sheet. Recruitment is relaxed, but we have a few strict guidlines that keep us lean, mean, and agile.

Brains and Brawn was a big part of the Morrel-Thule EverQuest community and a bigger part of the Telon Vanguard community and hope to be in Pathfinder as well. Success through reputation is the secret of a small guild, and I aim to ensure we see the same success for the same reason in PO.

current activity is low, but summer is waining and PO is gearing up, and so will we.

Afternoon,

First I want to say I absolutely love that you sell the PDFs for the books you publish with the Pathfinder system. As a lover of Hardcover books for just sitting back and reading, the PDFs are invaluable for game play and DM prep work. I own a PDF for every book I own.

How ever, the PDFs are really too high of quality to be of use in many in game situations. Even on my 8GB 6-core system they chug, not to mention my laptops or my ICONIA tablet. Acrobat isn't yet in the 20th century and multi-threaded, so performance is a serious concern.

I have a Acer ICONIA win7 tablet that actually works like a dream for game play, no books no sheets I run it all from Reader X and Office 2010. Soon ToS+ when its updated to APG.

The issue is, the PDFs are a struggle to use, really we need a low quality download option, your security does not allow optimization so a Black and white low quality version even with striped images would be really cool. I love the high quality ones, don't get me wrong, but for ease of use on netbooks, small laptops, and Tablets, we really need low quality versions, the smaller by chapter pieces do not help, its pruely the PDF it self must be optimized.

Coudl this a be future option? a little extr ato make the greatness of PDF books a little better.

Thanks,
Scott
