Eros is an ex-soldier (an archer) from the military in Varisia. He was dishonorably discharged. Unofficially, he was discharged from the military for sleeping with his commanding officer's wife. Officially he was discharged because he was bad for morale since he frequently disobeyed orders and resents authority.
Eros grew up homeless in the streets of riddleport. He always took what he needed to survive. He sometimes bullied others for fun.
After the military, he spent time in wilds, and learned how to live off of the lands on his own. At this time he had no money and no friends, so he didn't think he could survive if he went straight back to riddleport.
While in the wilds, Eros has heard rumors of bandits, and Eros knows that where there are bandits there are riches. Eros is determined to rise above his petty bullying past, and earn a proper name for himself. Such a title would surely mean that he would not have to take orders from anyone, and he could probably easily get whatever he decides he wants. Now seems like the perfect time to go back to riddleport and snoop around.
Eros has met a few people of the arcane persuasion while traveling the wilds, and he is just barely beginning to realizes that some of their ways do spark his interests. He has not fully decided how he might incorporate this interest with his current talents........... Further study is required.
