The Players Guide for this had ancestries, do we know if they will be reprinted in later physical releases? I'm really hoping they don't keep some ancestries to just society PDFs, but the wording on it made it sound like that's the only place they will be seen.

When should I be concerned about my order remaining in a "side cart"? I would reach out to Customer Service now. You missed July's subscription shipping window (if you subscribed on the 24th), so by default it would wait until August's subscription shipping window. If you wanted it to ship ASAP, then reaching out to CS now is a good idea.

dang. well, i work overnights so i didn't see this until they'd already closed for the weekend. i'll reach out on monday and hope for the best. appreciate it!

So I'm just getting into PF, and I'm trying to make sure I don't buy things that are redundant.

Is the monster core 2 the ORC equivalent of the Bestiary 2? And if so, should I hold off on buying Bestiary 3 and 4 in the hopes that monster cores 3 and 4 will be released?

I want stuff in the ORC "ruleset" (yes, I know they're compatible) rather than the OGL one when I can. Should I hold off on buying rulebooks unless they're ORC?

More or less: are all the OGL books soft confirmed to eventually be released as ORC books?

Monster Core took the most iconic creatures from Bestiary 1-3 and put them in one book and Remastered them. Monster Core 2 takes the next most iconic set of creatures from those 3 books and Remaster them as well.

Not sure how many more creatures will be left amongst the 3 books that might necessitate a 3rd Monster Core book. It's possible, but we'll have to wait and see.

(Also, PF2E only had Bestiary 1-3, not a 4th one. PF1E had Bestiary 1-6, for the record).

Ah, sweet! I didn't realize about the "reorganizing" coming from all 3 books (thought there were 4!). I figured it was just an update of the first one. Good to know. Thank you!

I just got the PDFs and downloaded them from the humble bundle, so presumably they are the most up to date.

The PDF still has this issue, did we ever find out which it was post-broken, 13 or 14?

Looks like that was corrected in the last fall errata pass. PDFs won't reflect errata changes until the physical book is due for a reprint, I believe. So going to the FAQ section for errata updates is the best place to check after picking up a book as they may not be incorporated into the PDF yet.

Ah, thanks for that! I'm used to drive thru RPG where PDFs get updated almost constantly. I'll keep that in mind for Pathfinder!

Is there a way to tell it's a later printing without opening the book?

New to paizo, question: if it says unavailable for print, is that for now, or forever? Is it awaiting reprint, or do I need to pray to the second hand gods?

Hello all!

I am looking to try to set up a SFS in my local gaming community, and I want to make sure I have everything right as rain before we go. I have been told that the best thing to do is to play a few society games before running them: unfortunately that is not an option as there are no Society games where I am currently, which is why I'm trying to get at least one started.

I'm new to the whole Paizo community, but have been DMing D&D for over a decade and a half now, so the actual content isn't an issue, so much as the extraneous stuff. I want to make sure I dot my is and cross my ts so that I don't potentially screw over my players.

For Society-specific product, I have gotten my SFS number and have the download for the two free PDFs, the Society Roleplaying Guide and the Quests into the Unknown. Am I good to start there, or do I need to officially register something with Paizo prior to the game? As far as scenarios, I will buy them as we approach them, so I'm starting with the free ones for now.

Is there anything my FLGS can/should do in terms of contacting Paizo for SFS product, or is that not a thing and it's more community-ran? (Hard copies of things, SFS gear/merch, etc. I'm not sure what it could be, but I also don't know what it wouldn't be.)

I saw in the guide that adventure paths could be sanctioned, and in the URL listed, I found the rules and chronicle sheets. Do the players themselves have to own the product for adventure path things, or does me as the GM owning it work for purely adventure path things? (I realize that they need to own things like the Armory to use the things in the Armory, etc., but many players I've found do not buy GM specific things unless they are running a game themselves.)

In reflection of the above question, what are the consequences if I knowingly (in a moment of weakness) or unknowingly (in a moment of stupidity) break the SFS rules and guidelines? Do my players get punished, or just me? What punishments are there?

And is there anything else that I'm just glaringly missing? Thank you for the time and responses to the questions; I know there are a lot, but I don't have anyone local and public that I can ask.
