I have exams at the moment, which is making me busier than normal, but I also had a mild family crisis (nothing serious thankfully!) that resulted in me needing to babysit my sister's kids while trying to juggle studying and exams and whatnot. "Let her go or you'll regret it!" she shouts, looking down the scope at them and lining up a shot... Assuming they don't surrender, Ellie will fire at the bottom-most one. Ellie stares at the paintings in silence, unable to hide a dark frown from crossing her face. This whole thing unsettled her to an incredible degree, and she did not like it. Not the paintings, not the cell, not the crazed madman kept locked away in here. She clutches tightly to her boomstick as Heccan had instructed, but truly just wants to leave this place as quickly as she can. Ag'mira's quick-fire identification of the first two paintings leave Ellie staring in awe at the tiefling woman, for she knows little of derro and even less of Cassomir's legal systems. However, one thing is familiar to her... "Oh, I know that place," Ellie murmurs, pointing up at the painting of the ruined abbey. "Quickfall Abbey... it's here in Cassomir, I think. I heard someone talking about it while I was off doing bureaucracy stuff..."

If asked, Ellie murmurs something incomprehensible about new rules and regulations and getting caught up in Pathfinder Society bureaucratic nonsense... Not more than a touch bitterly, of course. She seems quite stoked to be back with the crew, however, and spends some time before the briefing catching up on a month or so's happenings. "Sounds like a real big mess!" Ellie exclaims with a shake of her head. "Even worse than before." As Heccan discusses interrogation methods, Ellie brightens expectantly. "And how about me...?"

I play PFS PbP in a small group of 7, we trade GMing duties every module. Sometimes one person has to replay for no credit, but we don't have a problem with that, because we enjoy playing together, and have done so for QUITE a long time now. Now? We're going to have a lot harder time finding modules to play that EVERYONE can play, or else one or two of our group have to sit out. :/

Looking to try and determine what general type of trap it is (some kind of pressure plate, or a pit, or whatever).

Good old friend of mine gave it to me... said he got the idea from Alkenstar, thought it'd be good against demons..." The halfling shrugs with a grin. "He was a bit crazy, old Faraldur. But he reckoned I'd have a blast with it while I was out adventuring, y'know?" Once the gun is serviceable once more, Ellie loads another bullet down the front. "So, she got anything on her?" she asks those grouped around the fallen corpses.

A bang louder than any explosion thus produced from her musket thus far, combined with Ellie's pained shriek, boom out over the main deck of the Prancing Prince. When the smoke clears, her pale hair is shocked back, and blackened, and gunpowder dirties her entire body. "Oh noooo," she wails pathetically, looking down the head of her gun with a pained expression.

I like ponies," she murmurs as she tries to get a grip on where they're headed next.

Only once she feels prepared for more action does she jump down from the chair and make her way on over to the hostages, feeling that Heccan and Ag'mira had things under control with the man on the bar. "Hey there," she greets them with a wide smile, already having forgotten the gunpowder blackening her cheeks like dark freckles, "can you tell me what happened here?" If any of them are bound, she'll untie the rope as they speak. "Oh, and uh, are any of you named Cestis? Or Kafar?"

Heccam's shriek of pain puts her off her aim as the halfling aims at the advancing mage, but really--it's hard to miss a shot that's literally right in front of you. She sends her next shot shot towards the man, though it only grazes past him rather than penetrating this time. Attack vs. Mage (R.T., PBS): 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 1 = 14

Ellie dashes forward, grabbing the back of a chair and using it as leverage to flip herself up and on top of it for better view. She lines up the rat in her sights and - BLAM! - unloads a round into it. The halfling coughs slightly as the black powder backlash shoots into her face, leaving a blackish tinge on her cheeks.

Ellie pulls her cap down tight, grinning as she mentally adopts the mindset of a crime-scene investigator. The halfling's bright blue eyes are starting to sparkle with excitement, and to anyone nearby who looks like they would listen, she murmurs to them: "It's like I'm in a murder mystery! Again! Not long ago, there was this ship, and this elf, and it was all so strange in the end, but... oh! It's so exciting!"

She's somewhat tall and limber for a halfling--so, still not really above anyone else's waistlines, except for Henry, of course--and moves with a definite spring to her step. She wears a plain brown newsboy's cap as well as a pair of almost oversized goggles on her head, and a pair of black leather fingerless gloves that cover her arms until just below her elbows. Her leather armor is strapped over a simple white tunic and dark pants, and over the top of it all is a bandolier filled to the brim with bullets and other miscellany. A burnished bronze musket, obviously home-made from various odds and ends and almost too big for her, is strapped over her shoulders. "Hi!" she says once Heccan finally finishes his extended introduction, side-stepping the well-spoken Chelaxian in an attempt to get a good look at everyone else in the room. "My name's Eleanor Whitespring! But call me Ellie. Please. Everyone does. Only ma and pa call me that when they're real mad..." Ellie keeps fiddling with her messy, short-cropped hair as she speaks, pointlessly attempting to get it to stay out of her eyes, and eventually gives up with a heavy sigh. "I, uh, I'll do my best where I can, alright? Between my boomstick here," the halfling fondly pats the musket leaning on her shoulder, "and a bit of quick thinking, I can usually handle most anything. Usually! I mean, I did get really good marks on my Confirmation... so I think I'm fine." Realising she's been talking for too long, Ellie flushes. "A-Anyways! Good to meet ya! Scouting ahead is her specialty. She's no good in melee, though! As a gunslinger who has yet to get Dex to damage, she's not an absolute beast in combat just yet. :P I played parts 1 and 2 way back when season 1 first started. I remember a little bit of part one, and almost nothing of part two (probably because it was unremarkable, as Henry said), so I don't think I'll have a problem with metagaming. Ellie also has a wand of CLW that she will hand off to anyone who will use it on her as needed. (Happy to share the CLW tic tacs around, too.)
