That's actually what part of the problem was—the system wasn't always counting the last seat in the event properly for display purposes. That is, it knew it was full, so it wouldn't let you in, all the while incorrectly telling you there was one seat left. I can't tell you exactly when it filled up, but the behavior you're reporting indicates that it was already full before you tried to save it the very first time.

Sigh...first I get skipped in the lottery system...then I get excited thinking one of the original events I really wanted was available but it wasn't really...then the special game they set up for the people that got skipped is happening on Sunday when I won't be there because we are leaving early to go to Vancouver. It's not my day!!!

Lizzie,

There were two special games for people who got skipped... the other is Friday. We'll see if we can get you into that one. Unfortunately, it's the same time as Pathfinder Society Scenario #24: Decline of Glory, so we'll need to drop you from that one to add you to the special.

I was wondering if you were able to get me in the Friday special game. I can't be there on Sunday because we are leaving for a cruise early in the morning. It is still showing #24 in the first slot on Friday and the Sunday game on my schedule. :(

That would be awesome! Feel free to drop me from that one! My mom is playing that one at the con so she can run it for the rest of us back in Tampa. :)

Ok... do things look right for everyone now?

No. :( I keep trying to sign up for what looks like an open spot in the Saturday morning "A Mid-summer night's Comedy" and a spot in "Life Size Yetisburg" and it's not saving anything. :(
That event is full. (It's possible it filled up just before you tried to save it.)

I've been trying for hours and the spot has shown "available" for hours...when did it actually "fill up?"

Last I saw there were quite a few events with plenty of space actually, so I wouldn't say "no chance" by any means. "Best chance" and "best choice" though...

Now I'm all confused. My husband signed us up for some events, but we didn't pay any attention to the "tiers". We didn't belong to the Pathfinder Society previously. What are "tiers"? Do we have to have an existing Pathfinder Society character of that "tier" range to get into a game? If so it severely limits my choices.

Point me elsewhere if this is the wrong place to ask. I've never attended a gaming con before.

I'm pretty sure you have to have a current Pathfinder Society character that high to play those events. I'm sure you can find the rules in the Guide to Organized Play that I believe is a free download.

I'm having the same problem. I've checked events that were available and save the changes, but when I look at my schedule they are not listed. How do we confirm the changes were made?

I also received no events and I know I signed up for a lot of things on Friday and Saturday. The only thing I have on my schedule is the banquet. :(
