I was surprised to find that my self proclaimed "Most Booned PC" (this alias) only had 9: #1: [REDACTED] boon from [REDACTED]
He's my one Slow Track character, and has a long list of Chronicle Sheet Boons because of that. He just reached level 9, and has more Chronicles in his stack than any of my retired characters.

Just wanted to try one last attempt to get opinions before I play this character next week. Yay? Nay?
I have a question about the "Joliryn's Foe" boon on the Chronicle. The character that I gave this GM credit to also has the "Spoils of the Siege (Joliryn)" boon from Serpent's Rise, so he has access to the Wrathful Ring of Spell Storing. He's also a 7th level Wizard with an Arcane Bonded Ring (no properties, yet). Can I upgrade his masterwork ring to a Wrathful Ring of Spell Storing by paying half of the 16,000gp price? He meets all of the requirements to do so, as far as I can tell. A good chunk of this question revolves around the PFS rules for upgrading Bonded Items, but since my specific question concerned this Chronicle item I figured here would be the best place to ask it. Wizards aren't my forte. This is the first time I've ever attempted to do anything with an Arcane Bond =P (posting with my character's alias so I can more easily find the it in the future)
Regarding the Heartstone, since it's described as an "amulet", can it become a Wizard's bonded item? My Elf Eldritch Knight, who in my head has a rivalry with the Elf 322, would love to make it his. I just see that the Chronicle lists the item as having a "discounted price" of 8000gp. Would making it a bonded item still cost half as much?

Elay ponders the situation a bit, and steps into the room. "Greetings. Our apologies for the mess outside. I know that good help is so hard to find these days..." ...which Elay absentmindedly demonstrates by being momentarily distracted by an enticing novella nearby... "...but before my companions and I discern if we have no quarrel with you, who are you again?" Here's my Diplomacy, if the situation warrants it. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Elay basically has 7 scrying sensors that each last only a single round, and he can place each of them up to 110 feet away. They're ideal for looking ahead at intersections to see if anyone else is hiding down the other passageways, or in this case, whether a fleeing Gnoll has turned to the right or the left. Brandishing his Adamantine Elven Curve Blade, Elay looks at the pens. "If we find ourselves without a key for the lock, I have a key for the bars themselves."

Elay looks at what the Gnolls are carrying. Any daggers or finessable weapons that Elay could loot in a hurry? That was my last damaging spell. In the absence of those, what's the biggest weapon nearby? I do have one True Strike prepared. Spells Remaining: 0th- Read Magic, Detect Magic, Scrivener's Chant, Prestidigitation
1st- 2nd- Glitterdust (DC 17),

Elay steps 5ft (down, south, between Fen and the Gnoll, I can't move anything while on my phone) and motions defensively while conjuring a fan of flames to envelope 2 Gnolls and a Hyena. Cast Defensively, DC 17: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
[retired]
Ok. If that's the case I'll do my action posted below. Otherwise it's what I'll do when it comes to my turn. Elay positions himself to aim a spell as clearly as possible at the Gnoll furthest from the party, leaving the present melee in the hands of the Shoanti. Blowing into his cupped hands Elay's breath takes on a supernatural chill, forming an icy ball of magical snow. He promptly hurls it at the distant Gnoll. Touch AC: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
[retired]
Elay will attempt to Diplomacize with the Gnolls. "Come now, come now. Surely one Human (he almost says disdainfully) cannot be that much of a threat compared to an entire operation? He is but one man, with but one hammer. He could no more slit your throats with it than cut a banana." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
[retired]
Elay's notes: It appears to be a collection of tactical observations such as the number and location of exits, the number and placement of apparent guards, the number and condition of apparent slaves, and quick descriptions of questionable "others".
It's all written in Elven, however. He is still a martial tactician, after all ;-)
