One more question,

Do Inquisitors gain domain powers? Or is that what they are referring to when they say "Bonus Spells"?

Good afternoon,

I am still fairly new to Pathfinder, so I appreciate any and all help.

I'm just looking at the entry for the Inquisitor, I really like the style of the character, but when it comes to choosing orisons and first level spells, I'm a little lost.

The rules state that Inquisitors gain no bonus domain spells, does that mean that I should completely disregard any domain spells listed in the rule book under the Healing Domain entry and choose from the list of Inquisitor spells?

Also, I read that Inquisitors gain bonus spells for high Wisdom scores, mine is a 17, where would I find information about bonus spells based on high WIS?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Extra traits? Sorry I'm not sure I've chosen one of those at all.

Ok groovy, thanks guys. I will have a more solid look into Inquisitor as I admit, I have basically no knowledge whatsoever in that regard.

Again, I appreciate the advice.

I'm a human. We have just reached Lvl 2.

I am currently playing with a Ranger, and have been thinking about multiclassing at higher levels, I'm just wondering if anyone out there has opinions/build ideas for Ranger/Cleric.

I was thinking it would be really cool to take my Neutral Ranger, and give him levels in Cleric, taking Pharasma as my deity, (healing/death).

I won't go into a lot of detail but it would really fit with my character choices. I'm really liking the look of it from a RP perspective, but would it be totally foolish to try and make this work within gameplay/combat?

Our party consists of a Barbarian, a Magus, a Bard, and My Ranger.

I just thought I would toss this out there and see what everyone thinks, I look forward to hearing your opinions, thanks for taking the time to read this.

Thanks for the help everyone,
I really appreciate all the thorough answers. This seems like an awesome place to ask for help.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently starting off a campaign with three of my friends and we're all pretty new to Pathfinder, I have assumed the mantle of GM, and I'm loving it so far, but there have been a few questions that my players have brought before me that I haven't quite been able to find the answer to.

1. Do saving throws apply to all Damage that the PC's may take? For example, in hand to hand combat, would our Barbarian recieve a fort or ref save after a monster had rolled to hit against his AC, and succeeded? Or does the AC represent the only chance to shrug off weapon damage?

2. If a spell or attack does not have a listed saving throw for half dmg or something of the like, does it mean that it does not allow a saving throw?

3. Do monsters receive these saving throws in combat as well?

The idea of rolling a saving throw for every attack/spell/ability seems like it could make some sense, but it also seems like it would really slow down play if both PC's and Monsters were attempting saves for everything. I appreciate any clarification on this matter, thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.
