To Zalanda, since you're first level, you get 100% value for any gear you sell. It just has to be noted on your chronicles and/or tracking sheet.

Duran hangs the shield off his backpack and proceeds back to the hall behind the lion's head. He'll open the door with his own shield readied once Rufus gives the okay.

I agree. I think we should mundanely search B4 and B8 and since B11 and B12 are behind double and triple secret doors, we should use the card catalog on those (since it works for 2 rooms only).

Not quite ready to leave, and thoroughly convinced that the illusions weren't going to work anyway, Duran inquires of the shield, "Is there anythin' writtin' on it? Might be one'a'them Cipher-thingers. Also, there's one more room an' that wall with tha' bumps on it."

Not much waiting, Duran takes a quick look around for any danger and begins looking for tomes perhaps covering the topics of demonic anatomy and resistances.

Duran chortles a little - keeping totally quiet was out of the question with roaring lions in the fray - and pivots, swinging his axe down low this time in an attempt to hamstring the contraption, if it has hamstrings.

Duran jumps forward and in one move, unhooks his waraxe and brings it down towards the lion closest to him. It's all he can do to not shout a war cry...

It's hard to tell but perhaps the dwarf's cheeks grow a little redder at the praise. With a pheghmy throat-clearing, Duran takes the key and moves to the door to unlock it.

Duran marches across the corridor and opens the first door on the opposite side.

Duran takes a different tack, instead of looking for specific clues by looking at the function of the objects in the room, he focuses instead on the objects themselves. Do some of the books show signs of wear or repeated access more than others? Looking at the chalkboard itself, he seeks there remnants of old writings, long wiped away... tracks of lessons long past, perhaps.

Ignoring his own advice and seeing the halfling move to a door, Duran moves into the hall and inspects then opens the north door opposite to the one Rysovich stopped at.

After waiting for a moment for someone to actually do something, Duran shoulders his way across the small room to the door.

In a quiet voice, he says "Step back" and tries the handle.

Duran returns to the archive room and reports his findings, "Right. There's a dark empty room at tha' bottom of tha' stairs. Get down there an check tha' door an' I'll see ta coverin' our tracks up here."

He looks over to the illusions, his eyes lingering on the perfect copy of himself, handsome feller. He moves to the shelves and gathers several books, laying them out open on the central table for the illusionary pathfinders to be "looking at". Then, he checks the floor near the statues for any sign of their passage, disrupting any tracks he finds.

Once everyone's through, he'll latch the door behind them.

Hi everyone. Please bear with me a bit while I figure this all out. :-)

A wide, heavy-set dwarf with red-tinged brown hair and beard enters the bait and tackle shop. Like many of his kind, he wears plate armour and carries a dizzying array of weapons on his person but unlike most, he moves with a lightness of step that belies the strength of his armaments.

He silently appraises the shop, looking around critically, A bait shop, great. Why on earth would I be here?. He moves over to one of the fishing rods and fingers it with his calloused hand.

He mutters largely to himself, "Wife says I need a hobby so I guess I'm here fer that."
