This is for a homebrew game about 90 years after an almost apocalyptic event called the god’s war. where a group of usurper gods were forced into this sphere and ran havoc destroying many evil deities and stealing their power before the powers of good arrested their advance. The elven pantheon was either wiped out or seduced by the usurpers and the heroes of the era gave their lives to protect the world from utter destruction. This led to a rampant monster growth and a guild of heroes to be formed to protect the populace. My players’ party is a part of said guild and are headed to a village that was once an arcane metropolis before 90% of it sank beneath the waves leaving many marvels and terrors left untouched in vaults below.
One such item was a mirror of opposition that in the intervening years has gained sentience and recently it was found by a group of divers looking for treasure and brought back to town where it has taken over a significant portion of the population and the guild mémbers stationed in the town. Our adventurers were tipped off when a messenger bird arrived with no message attached. The mirror has begun to use the knowledge of its duplicates to begin to bring stronger people to help spread it’s influence.

My question is what sort of powers should the mirror have? Should the duplicates react differently than normal? Suggestions on anything?
