Scarab Sages

Is it possible to cast spells while in an animal form during wild shape?

Scarab Sages

I remember an old issue with a PrC called the Ship Mage. Does anyone know what issue # it was in? Thanks

I am working toward starting a campaign of this AP, after my current campaign finishes. I have not read it entirly as of yet, but I will before we start. One of my players has expressed interest in playing a Lawful Good Cleric to Wee Jas. I am curious as to what problems or opportuities this will cause. What part does the Temple in town play in the the AP? Should I allow it or warn the player?

FYI I do play with a strict interpritaion of alignments and the role-play ramifications of them IMC.

I agree that tactics is the way to better challenge high level parties. Just up gunning the foes creates a vicious circle between the DM and the players (and rewards the players with more XP). By just using better tactics, it forces the players to think not just powergame.

The only way to really challenge high level parties is through attrition. Drain away some of the party's power prior to the combat with the BBEG, that is what the mooks are for. If the party clears out all the mooks then leaves before facing the BBEG, have the BBEG chase the party and fight them when they are spent. If he can't find them, attack their home and kill any loved ones to get their attention. Don't let the party buff and come in for a single fight with the BBEG, that is a huge advantage to the PC's, that any intelligent foe will avoid.

My question is about the Raam Giants guarding the doors. Are they undead or giant types. The stat block list them as giants, but the description and the abilities are undead.

Someone told me I should iron out the creases before I have it laminated. Did anyone else do this?

Now that I have all four maps I was planing to have them laminated. I wanted to first check with any others who may have already done this and if you have any tips or sugestions for me?

Anything thing that will help to preserve them is ok (not just laminating), if there is something better available. I do want to do each one seperatly so I can use just one at a time when needed.

Thanks for any sugestions?
