![]() Dire Bat (Bestiary 1) Shadowhunter (CR +1): Originally native to the Plane of Shadows, these bats can now commonly be found throughout the Darklands as well -- likely summoned there decades ago and then let loose into the wild. A shadowhunter bat gains a sneak attack which deals 1d6 damage and functions like the rogue ability, except that the bat also deals sneak attack damage any time its opponent is in an area of dim light or total darkness. It also gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls when performing a sneak attack. Fire Elemental (Bestiary 1) Firelasher (CR +1): These chaotic and unpredictable elementals have two fiery, tentacle-like appendages protruding from their bodies. A firelasher gains two secondary "fire lash" attacks that deal fire damage equal to a tentacle attack of the elemental's size and expose the target to the elemental's burn special attack. A fire lash attack has reach 5 feet greater than the elemental's normal reach. A firelasher also gains Multiattack as a bonus feat, and its Dexterity score increases by 2. ![]()
![]() 6. Serpentsting Wyvern -- This wyvern has a large venomous snake where its tail would normally be. The wyvern's sting attack is replaced with a "tail bite" attack which deals 2d6 + Str damage plus grab and poison. The wyvern is also immune to poison and gains the constrict special attack, which deals 2d6 + Str damage and poison. CR +1. 7. Sandskimmer Wyvern -- These mottled brown and black wyverns live in arid deserts, where they "swim" through sand and other loose earth. They have a burrow speed of 40 feet and can survive temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit without having to make Fortitude saves. CR +0. ![]()

About CR 50 on Inferno :P On a more serious note: Quote: Ranged 1d3 Wasps +8 (touch) poison Was your intention here that the target takes 1d3 damage, or that the target is struck by 1d3 wasps (and if so, does that mean the target is saving against the poison 1d3 times)? ![]()
![]() I would say 1 RP seems fair. A race with a base speed of 30 feet (0 RP) that takes the Fast trait (1 RP) would be able to move at a speed of 40 feet in light armor or 30 feet in medium/heavy armor. A race with the same base speed that instead has the dwarf's Slow and Steady trait moves at a speed of 30 feet in any type of armor. This would make Slow and Steady slightly weaker, but Fast is an advanced trait that isn't normally available to standard races, so I'd say Slow and Steady warrants the same 1 RP cost. ![]()
![]() I hate players that give the DM a hard time…mostly because I’m usually the DM. Especially that Clavos kid, always asking for “maps” and “backstories” and “character descriptions”. Seriously, who does those these days? It’s almost like they expect me to actually do some work or something. Kids these days. |
