The way in which various empires, planets and other political bodies are described in the Setting chapter is very reminiscent of the way stellar empires are described and named in Stellaris. The concepts aren't unique to Stellaris at all, but the language is quite distinct. The "Azlanti Star Empire: Tyrannical Stellar Expansionists" are a perfect example of an Authoritarian, Xenophobic, Militarist autocracy with the Hegemonic Imperialists personality, while the Veskarium is an autocracy of Honorbound Warriors with the Dominance tradition and lots of vassals, but full rights for xenos. Stellaris is in the influences list.
