Though only distantly related to the Academae's headmaster, her family name all but destined her to the institution. She also seemed destined to become one of the institution's most illustrious graduates, but not on account of her name -- Domina was one of the Academae's infamous prodigy enchanters.

She was also unfortunately accused of murder, and soon after expelled. Though her innocence was proven she wasn't allowed back in as her "education was irrecoverably disrupted by her absence," more likely the headmaster didn't want to admit a mistake. Domina's family name did give her a modest stipend and the materials to self-educate but that was all.

Domina has been seething with resentment the past month, while still powerful she feels that she's only advanced in theory rather than application. If she's ever to get back at the headmaster then she'll need to put what she knows into practice. At this point she feels a good place to start will be the small-time hoodlum who got her into trouble in the first place…
