M Half-Orc Ranger

Sounds like you and the fam need to stay out of the water, man!

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok waits and watches, bow in hand.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Put Dok in AB 31, please.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok and Colu retreat to the base of the ship, letting the chit chat occur.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok scans the trees, looking for trails, the aforementioned denizens, anything out of place, really. As soon as the opportunity presents itself, Dok and Colu will disembark, hit the tree line, and make themselves at home.

Perception: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (19) + 23 = 42

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok watches the parley in silence, his eyes locked onto the interloper, studying her movements, her facial expressions, the malice and secrecy in her visage. Slowly, he crouches down to rest a settling hand upon Colu's back, gently smoothing the raised fur on the cat's back.

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Aye." Dok joins the conversation without taking his eyes off the building storm, which he's been watching intently since the first signs appeared. "Hunker down."

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok takes a more relaxed gait once they're underway.

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Call it Serenity"...

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok hangs out outside mostly, watching Emrael and her various sparring partners with mild interest.

M Half-Orc Ranger

I really miss overtime... Especially when I've had 4 hours of sleep for 4 of 7 nights, and my right eye twitches constantly...

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok puts away his bow and stows the arrow he had knocked...

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Then what are you about, cowardly little stinkers who hide and quiver amongst books?"

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Come out now, and we will not attack you." Dok says to the bookshelf.

M Half-Orc Ranger

DM:
To Colu... "Think you can catch it?"

M Half-Orc Ranger

DM:
Dok quietly draws his bow, and knocks an arrow while keeping an eye on the part of the bookshelf where the little grubby lurks...Ready an action to shoot when the target presents itself.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok crouches down on his haunches next to Colu.

DM:
Perception: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (16) + 23 = 39

Do I see or hear anything odd? Perhaps in the direction colu's attention is centered?

"You'll get the blood from me." Dok says with finality. Probably the first thing he's said in hours.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok is present, but aloof during these interactions.

M Half-Orc Ranger

During the trip, Dok keeps mostly to himself, often looking over the side of the ship, studying the landscape. He tenses not at all when the group arrives at the city, and walks quite comfortably through the streets, Colu at his side. While in the city, he speaks very little, answering questions (if asked) with only one or two words, or perhaps just a grunt and a nod.

Bob addresses Dok;

"Hello. That's a beautiful falchion there. It looks like it's a Rajput's weapon...."

Dok nods matter of factly at Bob's greeting, then says loud enough for everyone to hear "Colu and my bow are on the ground." Turning his attention back to Bob, he asks "What's a Rajput?"

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok stands by, watching impassively at the goings on (and the discussion) around the fallen elf. He has yet to sheathe his blade, but is not holding it at the ready.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok slashed into the moonbeast once again...

M Half-Orc Ranger

DM:
Mr. DM, Would these here Moonbeast things been "Giants", or "Evil Outsiders"? I can see a case for both, but a stronger case for them being evil outsiders. This would be for the purposes of favored enemy, of course.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Z 33 will be fine, please.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok sprints toward Elgantree... "You want the ship? Throw me."

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok tosses his bow behind him as he swiftly draws the tengu blade. He gives Colu the command to attack (Colu will circle around to flank), as he steps up the short distance separating him from the abomination, and attacks.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Thank ya!

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok continues to send arrows toward d4. If it falls before he's done, he switches targets to the big lug on the gang plank. (Again with the manyshot and rapid shot)

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok thwips some arrows (employing Manyshot and Rapid Shot) at D4, in the hopes of pin-cushioning him/it into the grave...

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok and Colu book it around the back of the tents, (A double move will take me to AD 29) drawing his bow on the way.

M Half-Orc Ranger

I got no buffs to buff...buff...

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

M Half-Orc Ranger

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26

As the ship becomes discernable, Dok and Colu slink back from the fire amongst the shadows of the tents, and watches the goings on warily...

Fire, terrible pain, suffocating pressure, despair...

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Drow..." Dok finally breaks his silence from about 10 feet away from the fire. "Cruel, pitiless, evil they are. How many?"

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok follows more slowly and very warily...

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok stands, stark and impassive as the parley continues... He silently watches the outsider, as well as Colu's behavior.

Eyeing the creeper, Dok says "Be ready. Got a prowler."

M Half-Orc Ranger

"Think I been here a'fore..." Dok is checking out the scenery, looking for anything sights, sounds, or smells that might jar his memory further.

M Half-Orc Ranger

"It's fuzzy... But it sounds familiar."

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok can be heard mumbling the word "Leng" now and again...

M Half-Orc Ranger

Dok's updated, btw.

M Half-Orc Ranger

Hearing that the group is calling it a day, as traveling goes at least, Dok and Colu will explore about 100 yards farther up the tunnel, so as to get the lay of the land, identify potential problems (spots or creatures), and be better prepared for whatever time is spent here. After that, Dok plays a game of "Chase and flee" with Colu where they stalk one another, then take turns chasing while the other tries to evade and escape.
