Male Human

Seems I missed the Lightning bolt... Substracting my elec resistance I should come down to 60 - 13 = 47

Male Human

Had a look around and found a few level 1 thingies:
Pathfinder Module: Crypt of the Everflame
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-01/#2-02: Before the Dawn 1 and 2
Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–01: Rise of the Goblin Guild

Didn't have time to really dig into them but going on reviews and forums they are quite fun for a level 1 group.

Male Human

Giri also has been in The Wounded Wisp sadly :( I'll have a look for more players. Should we send the names to you?

Male Human

I think I'll go with Giri then. He was a blast to play last time. A masochistic barb might be fun but a frog... Nothing tops a frog!

Male Human

dot

Male Human

I have a character with 1 sheet on his name Giri (he has already played wounded wisp) and I have another character in mind that could fit into this group. The last one being a masochistic half-orc barbarian. Checking if both would be okay to play. :)

Male Human

32/76hp

Arval, still confused about what just happened, swipes at the air where the cultist was a few times before realizing what he is doing. He shakes his head, sheaths his sword and grabs his sling.

Male Human

Tural soars up into the air the moment he is turned invisible. He peers into the windows of the building, trying to discern any special rooms. If possible he tries to pinpoint the holding area of the seneschal.

Perception: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (19) + 20 = 39 Previous roll with the same post

Male Human

They have DR/adamantine. Based on the damage you could figure out the exact amount. But I'm not too fond of telling it outright, since those stats are different on every clockwork robot.

Male Human

Ama swings and kills the creature on the first hit, the second makes only a bloody mess. You hear a stumbling noise beyond the door the last creature just went through.
"No kill me! Me go!"
A shrill voice calls from another room.

Will you chase after the last one?

Combat round 2:
- Nagbur
- Fish
- Axe [PfE]
- Almalik

- Ama [PfE] HP 37/45
- Idris [PfE]
- Skin stealers

In bold may act!

Congrats to the lucky ones!

But that sometimes ends up with a horrible group...

That is sometimes true. I personally prefer a somewhat weird group than a group that is made to function well in a game.

It would be a bad idea to get 6 barbarians or something :P But if you group the casters and melee and roll, or something like that, you could end up with a nice group. I've had some good luck with the last one!

Good luck to all!

Congrats to the lucky ones!

I've added the crunch needed for the game in ooc. It actually fits really well with Talathel. The background story and appearance remain the same as before!

Now hope for the best!

Keeping mine as is! I like my wolf riding gnome as is. Have posted my bar rp earlier.

Fingers crossed!

The last one, cure minimum wounds, is very sensitive to abuse. I see why they didn't adopt it in PFS!

The liquid freezing is also very powerful. I would agree that it should be at least a level 2 spell. All potions in the range of the spell are rendered useless.

IC RP:

Talathel

Talathel nods to the man who just bought him a round.
"Thanks lad."
He grabs the cold beer and flinches, his forearms blackened by a fire are still very sensitive to touch.
"I've run into some spirits a few weeks ago. Threw me in the hearth fire."
He says as he nods to his arms.
"You could say it was mostly my fault but..."
He sighs.
"Lost my home and my fortune because of them."
An ominous wind suddenly passes the couple at the bar.
"Kept bothering me ever since they did. One positive thing though, they gave me some pretty neat magic!"
The last he adds with a flash of a grin, he points at the man's beer which slowly starts icing over.
"But tell me more of yourself!"

I have a character I would like to play, my battle wolf riding gnome! He is currently PFS legal and I am also applying to another game with him. If he suits your taste I can throw some things around to fit him to the game.

I'll make my official post with him once I know more.

I am currently in a carrion crown game but as replacement, so I missed the first part! I would love to apply my battle wolf riding gnome. I'll change out his trait and money once I know if I'm in :) everything is in the profile.

Male Human

Happy new year!

Male Human

No worries! Could someone post for Fish and Nagbur? Posting is a bit on the low side lately. I would like to finish this fight before christmas!

Combat round 2:
- Ama
- Almalik (DR)
- Fish
- Idris (DR)
- Axe (DR)
- Nagbur
- Enemies

In bold may act!

Male Human

Nothing! Do watch out for the frog though ;P It might bite stab you in the back on the way out!

Male Human

I whisper to them every day to do their best at you! Now you tell me to do the opposite?!

Idris attacks the skeleton back and and does some fair damage to it, breaking some bones. Axe swings his sword and hits the skeleton, cutting it in half. The bones of the skeleton form a random heap combined with its armor. Almalik fires his ray of frost, the ray hits but seems to do nothing at all to the skeleton.

Combat round 2:
- Ama (DR) 20/31 hp
- Axe (DR)
- Fish (DR)
- Idris 28/40 hp
- Nagbur
- Almalik (DR)
- Skeletons

In bold may act!

@Nagbur Axe already has DR. Do you want to redistribute it or save the pp?

When I joined a new game one of the players posted his profile with this... I immediately feel in love with it! I would be very interested if you still send invites!

Male Human

Nagbur fails his attack and the one visible Cubis continues its attack on Fish. The creature manages to connect one of its claws.

Atk roll bite: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Dmg roll bite: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Male Human

@ Nagbur Seeing how Fish likes to rush I think some rounds may be left. Have added them to the list.
@Almalik You just climbed on top of the chest instead of off the table xD

Nagbur throw his small ball of flame but it goes wide and leaves a scorch mark on the ceiling. Almalik fires another flame arc and hits the dead king.
Assuming Ama moved of course.

Round 1:
- Dead king [-4hp]
- Almalik [DR 2/- 6 rounds]
- Fish [DR 2/- 7 rounds]
- Cubis [-12hp]
- Blue statue
- Ama [DR 2/- 7 rounds]
- Nagbur [DR 2/- 6 rounds]
- Green statue

In bold may act!

Rolls:

Reflex save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Went rummaging around and found a game within the day! Recruitment threads seem to pick up again already.

Have seen the 'flaxseed lodge' before. Seemed pretty abandoned at the time. Will take a look at it again then. Thanks for the advice!

That was solved pretty quick! Fingers crossed that I will enter a game soon also ^^ They seem pretty hard to come by in the recruitment threads.

You are still listed in the 'on pause' tab. Maybe you were mistaken in the tabs? Don't know the exact position since I added but have been low in the sheet for quite some time also.

Too bad :( I'm still way down the list.

Interested. I am actually running a homebrew which looks sort of like this :) I have a list of missions which you could freely choose from. My homebrew is more focused on the missions and the players instead of the guild though.

Male Human

Ama normally heals 2hp during the night. This would double into 4! This would sadly only heal Ama to full hp. BUT! I am a dumbass and I forgot to mention that it was non-lethal damage... Damage from heat only deals lethal damage when you are unconscious.

By the time the group goes to sleep they feel completely healthy again. On the last shift Nagbur thinks to hear a weird sound. A sound something like: GGGRRrrrrrrttt... GGGRRrrrrrrttt... GGGRRrrrrrrttt.... But soon after before he decides to wake everyone up he sees a meerkat appear just outside the tent, which looks curiously at Nagbur.

The night passes uneventful and everyone wakes up well rested.

Rolls:

Perception Cubis: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

Perception Nagbur: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Perception Fish: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Perception Ama: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Perception Almalik: 1d20 ⇒ 6

Male Human

The hobgoblin keeps running forward and walks straight into a trap. He gets pierced by several arrows and falls to the ground with a heavy thud.

Rolls:

Atk roll: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
Atk roll: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Dmg roll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
dmg roll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Combat order:
- Nagbur
- Ama (0/10hp)
- Hobgoblin East (-20hp)
- Hobgoblin North (-14hp)
- Almalik (-2/10hp Unconscious)
- Fish (1/12hp)
- Hobgoblin South (-17hp)
- Hobgoblin West (-20hp)

Combat over!

Male Human

Nagbur heals Ama up to 0 which leaves her to act upon the situation.

Combat order:
- Nagbur
- Ama (0/10hp)
- Hobgoblin East (-20hp)
- Hobgoblin North (-7hp)
- Almalik (-2/10hp Unconscious)
- Fish (1/12hp)
- Hobgoblin South (-17hp)
- Hobgoblin West (-20hp)

In bold may act!

Male Human

Splat is the right word!

Male Human

Cool :) Nothing special here just a simple and relaxing weekend.
Fish's sword connects with the spider and you can hear a squeak coming from it. Ama swings her sword at the same spider, this time the spider anticipated the attack and manages to barely dodge it.

The other spider advances at the group, attacking Fish. It tries to attack but cannot manage to penetrate Fish's armor.

Rolls:

Atk roll L: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Combat Order:
- Almalik
- Spider R
- Fish
- Ama
- Spider L
- Nagbur

In bold may act! Map updated.

Male Human

Two last things before we begin.

I'll review Nagbur's profile when it's ready and Almalik could you make the Quick stats in your race tab? When that's doen then we'll start the first mission. :D

Male Human

The barmaid looks up at the noise from the door.
Come on in, it's open!
she calls out to the stranger.

The door opens and an elvish looking woman steps inside.
Hello! I'm Vaara, who are you?
Suddenly as the door swings shut a head pokes around the corner.
And who is your little friend?
She smiles very friendly at the two newcomers.
Come join us at the table, there is enough for everyone.

That is a really funny image.

Male Human

The elvish woman leaves the table to get more soup and bread. After a short while she returns with a bowl of soup and bread in one hand and another mug of beer in the other. She smiles as she serves it to the newcomer.
Here you go. And please tell us your name, you don't look like you come from around here.

Male Human

She sits up again and looks at the other table. She smiles and starts speaking to Almalik.
"No need to be rude. He is a person as much as you are. I believe everyone has his own peculiar bits"
She keeps smiling the whole time she's talking.
"Would you like some soup and bread too? You could tell me where you're from when you're eating."
She ducks under the table again and asks Fish if he would want to join them at the table.
"Want to join us?"

Male Human

I saw that at the start they are very limited in their healing, though later on they get way better at it. With the idea of the vitalist I didn't think it possible to be evil, but if you look at it like that I understand ^^

Considering the goblin kind nature of blue it would fit very well to make him a Soulthief :) I also really like the idea of using other peoples health to gain health yourself. It makes more sense than simply 'healing'.

Looking forward to your build ^^ And yes, poor human xD

Male Human

She ducks and looks under the table with a smile.
"It's beer, I think you'll like it."
She holds out her hand to accept the bowl.
"Do you want a refill? There is still plenty."

Male Human

Looks very interesting and will also be a good addition to the party. Although I don't want any evil characters, would be hard to make him evil as a vitalist though. I have to admit I was a bit worried about the healing part of the group ^^

The 'once per day' rule is only in place so a pace can be kept in the game. I trust you on your word that you can match the pace of the game, so I wouldn't worry about that.

As for the roleplaying! I assume everyone plays for the roleplaying. But I've encountered several people who simply follow a group and don't add anything to it, that's a real waste!

So I would say welcome to the party!

We now have a complete party! As soon as everyone has made their introductions in the gameplay thread we will start our new adventure(s). Do you think you can finish your characters by Sunday?

Goblin, Kobold and fey... and a human. This will be chaos all round won't it?

Male Human

She walks back to the bar and returns with soup and half a loaf of bread. She sets it on the table and squats to look under the table.
"You might want to sit at the table when you're eating."
As Fish starts eating she continues the conversation.
"I think you can't do it alone though. You'll have to wait for more people to turn up."
She walks back once more and grabs two mugs of beer. She sits down at the table next to Fish and sets down one of the mugs in front of him.

Male Human

She responds to you in a calm and lovely voice.
Yes, everyone is welcome here. Your name was Fish you said? Well Fish, I might just have a job for you.
She walks over to the mission board as she is talking. As you come to the board she points at the lowest mission reading: Mine takeover URGENT!
The guild is almost overdue with this one.

Male Human

Nice, will look over your characters later today.

Male Human

3 heads up:
- I removed the 75% rule, after a lengthy discussion I decided that it was imbalanced.
- If your character is ready you may introduce yourself, doesn't matter that not everyone is ready yet. It makes more sense to get in one by one than as a complete group. I will hold a slow introduction pace until everyone is complete and ready.
- Still working and the last group member. I may open recruitment if this lasts.
