Tural returns to the party, completely rested for the night. He sits down cross legged in the midst of everyone and concentrates on the spell. Ghostly forms swirl around and through him as the spell takes effect.
"Fathers and mothers before me. I have a question."
He looks at Weiss and Corven in turn, asking his question to the spirits aloud.
"These two wish to join our quest, to join our group and our cause. Have you any advice on the matter, have you encountered such a situation before?"

@GM have my grandparents been in such an odd group before? :P

The only reason Tural has so much HP is because everyone tends to leach it off of him! People keep dying and they expect him to give his to them! These people...

"Let's head out to buy some new clothes."
Urbar says as he storms off, wanting to have it behind him.

Having arrived at the store he seems to second guess himself if he made the right choice.

A promise is a promise

He thinks for himself as he hears the bell of the door ring as he enters. Within notime he is standing on a small pedestal and being measured.
"But good sir, you will need accessories with this outfit! You cannot go without them! You will look like an out of place commoner."
The man says, covering his mouth half in shock at Urbar's lack of knowledge. He grumbles something under his breath about even more expenses and the uselessness of it all before saying something that might go for a yes. A few hours later he comes back looking somewhat like this, with a scowl on his face.

That doesn't sound unreasonable. I'd rather have too many healing stuffs than too few...

Arval brightens up as they start travelling again, remembering the old days.
"You are just like a real bird Wren..."
He says, trying to get her to calm down a bit. Suddenly a 'bright' idea wells up inside him.
"Wren! Is that a bird over there in the forest?! It looked really big!"
The burly warrior adds jokingly as the party slowly moves on to town.

----------

In town Arval nods to Wren's proposal.
"We're burning through quite a bit of healing, I agree."

GM:

Giri imagines being swarmed by food and can't imagine it being horrible at all. The mention of traps however gets back his attention.
"Gooooood eyes tsk, I haaaaave."
He says pointing to his two very large eyes. He follows the man's gaze to the group, he thinks to himself for a moment before answering.

They seem alright... One is a bit too snobby but the others seem alright... Have to see their skills first though...

A moment later he answers.
"They haaaave the rlooks of seaaaasoned peoooople. Bribbbbbbit Cocky wrrrone might get heeeerself wrrreep killed."
He smiles at the man, enjoying his conversation.

I know! I'll have to compensate on other area's if a swarm attacks us!

Giri stops halfway a building and stares at Vaetta.
"Ghirrrrrri."
He says and points to two razor sharp daggers and a net fastened to his loincloth.
"No tsk mhhhuagic."
He breaks his stare and looks in the direction they were going.
"If tsk wrrrrre want tsk fooood on table, wrrrre need tsk to do joooob. Brrrrribt Not talk."
Knowing his speech is hard to understand Giri doesn't really want to talk, especially to strangers.

Hugs are always good!

To view the other side of the coin. My group and I really enjoyed this scenario. I had a few people I knew join and a few who submitted through recruitment. A bit of a rough and slow start but that soon turned around to a lovely and enjoyable game. One of the players was enjoying it so much he made a game for the gameday himself.

I was worried myself, with a party of subtier 1-2, that it could've ended badly. But in the end, without a bit of excitement or risk there wouldn't be any challenge or fun to these games.

Languages are the same as before, so no problem :)

Falshin asks the general how he bakes his bread and the man looks utterly confused at him. Roscoe comes to the rescue and stands in front of Falshin, pushing him aside. He introduces the party and the general looks interested. Aided by Verhaal he starts telling about himself, in exchange for information about the group.
"I have always loved my grandmother’s ittho bread. Only used the honey from her own bees, and only fed them blossoms her grandmother brought back from the Western Colonies. Nothing ever tastes the same now."
He trails off, not completely sure why he responded to Falshin
"Sorry. I start to get nostalgic around Peacock’s Dusk. These damn family holidays. They always remind me I still haven’t taken my boys to the Western Colonies. They love their little-folk nanny, and I thought they’d like to see one of the cities her people built."
He says with a fond smile.
"Do you have family you want to celebrate with? Or are you going to celebrate it with your friends?"
After getting a satisfying answer he continues his story.
"...It has also been many years since we heard from my great-grandmother’s descendants, but I sometimes imagine that when I gaze into the sky and see the red planet, they can hear my prayers for the health of them and our empire’s colony..."
He trails off again until Verhaal interrupts his thoughts. She tells him about secrets of modern day society, trying to lure him into telling more about the Azlanti secrets. She pries him some more about his relationship and children and he sighs.
"I never do get to see the wife and kids anymore. Marrying into a colonial family may have helped avert a war, but these years of separation are a heavy burden on anyone’s shoulders. But enough about my family, it saddens me to think about them."
He suddenly jumps topic, going on about political issues.
"...Imperator Emalliandra was right about the political dissent rising in the colonies. Drunkard or not, she’s got twice the political insight her father ever did..."
He thinks for a short time and continues his story.
"...I don’t care if his great-great-greatwhatever grandfather gave us ioun stones or water itself ! Imperator Illsmus is a headstrong fool, and his notions about raising mankind to godhood will end in embarrassment at best..."

And you finished this part of research as well, if only just barely this time ;) However! If you continue to coax information out of him you might get a special reward!

Urbar raises an eyebrow at Ery.
"I'd rather not have any of your favors. Rather not you end up in my bed the next time we get to an inn..."
He walks a bit further past Ery to get into the tunnel.

Arval sheaths his sword and grabs the shovel strapped to his pack with his other hand. He starts digging up dirt and throwing it into the pit.
"I will try and bury him alive."
He says as he throws a shovel full of dirt on the werewolf.

Still having no ranged weapon I thought this the best solution to my current predicament...
