Dilton walks into the room, attempting to mimic Val Kilmer's voice, and says aloud, "You want me to be your chuckleberry?" though his voice sounds more like Simon from 1 minute 48 second mark. Dilton starts walking towards the desk and chair, "I've seen the lights! Please no sirens though. These new ears are more sensitive than my last pair."

Dilton starts to eat the conjured food, and chuckles as the thought that he wonders what kind of fruit or nut a huckleberry tree has, he laughs at his inside joke and quietly repeats "I'll be your chuckleberry," with varying accents as he works out which accent he thinks fits the homage line to Doc Holliday sounds the best coming from his diffent vocal chords.

heads up: homefront situation is going to make posting as frequently as I have been a bit difficult for the at least the next two weeks. I will still try to make sure I am checking daily, but it might only be once per day instead of multiple times throughout the day until homefront stuff is more managaeable to return to checking multiple times throughout the day.

Updated hero forge mini Dilton is smart enough to craft but his wisdom (-1 penalty) is a bit lacking. Request that his starting gear includes stuff that matches up with his mini. a keg of black powder strapped to his back (via the gunslinger bandolier) with his 'designs book' attached to keg. belt with belt pouch, small sack he carries in his hand (though can be tied to belt if does not have too much in it), a cowboy hat. His automatic battered gun is a dragon pistol (with holster).

Some questions regarding character creation. Are we using the default 2 traits? Are we using background skills? Background skills could be a good way to cover skills we already had before we died. Any specific variant rules you are using for the campaign? Do you have a specific beastkin race you created that you want me to use? If not, which of the following do you approve for using the mechanics of, but with the reskinning of squirrel beastkin? ratfolk (squirrels are another type of rodent, rodent empathy of ratfolk applies to all rodents) vanara (innate climb makes sense for squirrel beastkin) Ratfolk using alternate racial traits: A possibility for Dilton's new race. Baseline: ratfolk Alternate racial traits Surface Sprinter (replaces darkvision and slow speed): gains low-light vision and speed is 30 feet. Unnatural (replaces Rodent Empathy): The sqirrels seem to know he killed their kind just to test how destructive his innovations were. In time when he multiclasses into bard and gains Wild empathy, will be the beginning of him having 'atoned' for his past actions against innocent animals. Cheek Pouches (replaces swarming): Dilton would not have the instinctive swarming tactics of natural squirrels, and he can hide his dragon pistol and ammunition in his cheek pouches, Dilton holds up his empty hands, "Thee, Nothing in my hansth. I cometh in peath." Scent (replaces Tinker): Squirrels have a much better sense of smell than visual perception. I also like the ratfolk's alternate favored class ability for gunslingers: Add a +1/2 bonus on initiative checks when the gunslinger has at least 1 grit point. --> Dilton gradually becomes more accustomed to reacting to danger and perceived dangers in this strange new world.

The grenade-seeking bullet puncture his chest and his last thoughts are "Acme physics!" before his body explodes and covers the trunks of the nearby trees. "Well, that didn't work, at all, did it?" Dilton looks around to see he is a strange room with the largest dwarf he's ever seen. More like a dwarf out of Tolkien's work than Tyrion Lannister. Dilton raises his arm and waves at the dwarf and the woman, "Hello. Where are we?" The first thing he noticed when he raised his arm is the fringed jean jacket that is sequined with star sapphires of various colours....and then he noticed his hand was furred!! "What in the Tazmanian Devil have you you done to me?!!" first class level will be gunslinger (firebrand archetype). The woman points to the ticket machine and tells him to take a number and wait to be called. Confused, Dilton walks over to take a number, and then sees his reflection in the mirrored surface...he was in a different body...the face staring back at him made him think of the last living thing he was looking at through the scope of his gun..."Bad news. I am a walking and talking rodent and dressed like the Rhinestone Cowboy. Good news....good news..." Dilton investigates and sees that he has gun belt with a holstered gun...with a dragon motif design and a flared muzzle like a musket. "I have a gun...that might not explode me like my last one did." He sits down with his number and takes the gun out and examines it while he waits for his number to be called... |
