Background:
Dietrich grew up in Falcon's Hollow in Northern Andoran. His father was a lumberman working for the infamous Lumber Consortium. Dietrich was a big lad, and often appeared oafish to other children. This lead to him being teased and tormented throughout his youth. He and his family also were fairhful followers of Erastil in the hard-drinking and very practical backwoods town. He often found his faith challenged. But Dietrich was smarter than others realized, often thinking deeper thoughts without voicing them. He also was stalwart in his faith. As he grew up, he became a bear of a man, burly and strong from all the wood he cut and chopped. But he chafed at the oppressive conditions the Consortium forced on its workers and desired more out of life. This led him to seek a life of adventure, and in time, the Pathfinder Society found him.
