Loving the idea of a lengthy story book and character pawns~!

I've been away form the blog for a while but back after I picked up some recent class decks. It's a pleasant surprise to see all the new news on the PACG!

I'm a fan of all the changes except for (as others have stated) the card backgrounds. The layout and communication on them is awesome, but the back ground design is very distracting and unappealing. Even though the art itself may be the same size as the past, it somehow *looks* smaller. Frankly the cards look to me like they were amateur home brewed on DTRPG/Cards.

I realize these have left the gate but I sure wish they kept the front of the cards' backgrounds as they were in the original version. I thought the colored borders for card type distinction and overall clean design were wonderful.

Just got to playing this scenario and at first I was frustrated that I won per the objective but missed out on the cool reward. But after a bit I was ok, even pleased. Why? Because it was a fresh take for a scenario format and it made for more drama in the game experience.

Narrative wise, I entertained “Muminofrah” by participating in the camel race and making it to the finish line (a win in game terms). Unfortunately I wasn’t in first place thus I didn’t get the prize.

As for not winning the prize, it felt like a big loss knowing I missed a great loot item. This is kinda actually cool because I haven’t lost a character so instilled some “painful” emotion in my story.

Well done designers.

Fresncois, thank you very much. You Rock!!!!

Skizzers, your suggestion is what I was figuring I'd need to do if nobody had yet compiled such a list. Thanks for your reply.

Is there a running list anywhere of the unique cards in the class decks (I.e. Those cards not appearing in the base sets)?

I want to add some into my box for added flavor without adding duplicates of cards already in the main set.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Amazing work. Will play it down the road. I hope Paizo or others behind the game consider bringing you on for future projects. Besides the scenarios themselves, I love your writing. Great flavor text really adds to the theme.

Sounds good. I expected it would take something along the lines of the suggestions here. I think I'll go for a horse that looks like a unicorn. I will reference Castilonium's link as a starting point.

I'm super excited to be starting out Pathfinder for the first time for my family. I will be the GM. On asking them what they initially are interested in doing in the game (besides the beginner box stuff we're starting with), my daughter wants a *Unicorn* for her elf wizard.

I anticipate taking their party on an adventure to acquire her character a unicorn. My question-how do I design one (nn my initial search in the main beastiary, I did not see a unicorn)?

Is there a starting point unicorn familiar to reference somewhere? Or should I use a horse as a base for its stats, maybe give it some magic spells and the ability to talk?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Amazing work~! I have bookmarked your site and look forward to getting around to these after I finish the main set stuff! Can't thank you enough for putting this together! It all looks great!

You did a great job running demos throughout the weekend! Thank you for expanding the game to new players and being a great resource for game Q&A!
