I know that ray of frost states 1 creature, but I was wondering if it is possible to use it to make ice cubes or chill a drink. I am making a barbarian and thinking of magus dedication and he would use his cantrips not in combat mostly, but in day to day use for convenience since he has a 14 int.

Making a character for the next part of Doomsday Dawn and I am playing a Deep Gnome Angelic Sorcerer who can cast Righteous Might and he is wearing Type 6 Bracers of Armor. How would I recalculate the armor and such since I currently have 10 base + 4 Bracer + 12 Proficiency Unarmored.

The reason I was thinking of doing this was because of the fact that I play for the purpose of roleplaying and not just whats on the paper. So I came up with the idea of a dwarf who would tank to keep his comrades safe and so he picked the sturdiest materials he could for each aspect so adamantine hellknight plate for his body, but noticed that the towershield was wood only which confused me since the other shields had a steel version.

Are the tower shields made of wood only or can they be made of metal as well. The reason I ask is I have a tank dwarf who wears adamantine hellknight plate and a tower shield. The main question is can he get a adamantine tower shield as well or at least mithral to reduce the weight?

Just curious but can the chakram weapon be used with the Arcanist archetype Blade Adept?

Thank you for all the help everyone I think this helped me more than you could imagine. Due to my autism I can actually handle 2 character sheets and we only have 3 people playing so my eidolon will become very handy to us.

Eldritch heritage just gives you a single power. The enhanced versions also give you more powers. If your a wizard or a fighter or a summoner or even a sorcerer taking the feat, you don't get bonus spells and feats from it. You get the power to grow claws from eldritch heritage in this case. Improved arcana will give you a choice between the breath weapon and resistance, and the greater version will give you the wings. You do not get any feats, spells, or skills from it however.

You don't get any of those things. You ONLY get the 3rd level power at -2 CL. That is all.
I think you mean the 1st level power at -2, the 3rd at -2 is the improved version.

So if I have them do they automatically improve themselves? Like at my level 7 the claws get their level 5 boost? And the only thing missing for me right now is do I put the eidolon under a new Character sheet using regular stats (those stated under the biped) with no modifiers?

Awww so no claws either? That's a shame that I can't slowly make him dragonlike. Minus the level 20 ability since the max WOULD have been 18.

The only possible cause for misinterpretation I see is where the feat's description says, "You are descended from a long line of sorcerers". It doesn't say that you yourself are a sorcerer though.

If it said, "You are descended from a long line of sushi chefs" that wouldn't necessarily mean that you are a sushi chef, right? Maybe your family is ashamed because you have a mild shellfish allergy and opened a yakitori stand instead, but you still have a right to embrace your heritage and use your grandfather's tuna knife to slay the fish demons plaguing the land, even if it might give you hives (just for an example of how a similar feat might play out)

Well played...though I don't wanna suffocate due to anaphylactic shock from coming into contact with these fish demons...."We have killed the fish demon king!! Now I must die because I can't breath. Carry on my companions....."

Ok this makes me quite happy if it works out otherwise I will be doing a "puny" human xD.

The final thing I would need is to know which Skill Focus I would need for the Draconic Bloodline. To be honest I may be having trouble right now but I am enjoying the game even though I haven't played and official session yet. And the help that I have received here has been amazing I hope I end up liking this game even more.

Your dm is inventing that reasoning. The feat does not say "sorcerer only" or "must be a sorcerer" under the prerequisites. Plus in this case not being a sorcerer is the entire point of the fear.

That was my understanding as well. I just need to show him in the book how I am allowed to take it.

Also we are only using the Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, and Ultimate Magic books. So he will want to know what book and page to look up the reasoning.

Half-Elf Summoner that's all we are going off of. I was wanting to do Eldritch Heritage Draconic so my character would look half-elf half-dragon and have some of the dragon features. I can always spin it where he doesn't realize his dragon half till level 3. We are starting at level 1 and my stats are:
13 STR
17 DEX
12 CON
17 INT
10 WIS
16 CHA

I am literally brand new to the game and this out of all that I have read is the one I feel most comfortable for the classes.

I was talking with my GM and he told me that I was unable to use Eldritch Heritage since I am not a sorcerer. Even though I am finding all this evidence and suggestions noting that I can use it none of them specifically tell me why I would be able to. I would love to get the advice on how to acquire this feat legally and be able to explain it to him.

I had recently posted and asked for advice on how to a half-elf/half-dragon and I felt that this feat was the closest to what I had in mind.

lol I thought I watered it down to be a fair start...guess not. I guess its just that my autism is kicking in and trying to make this work somehow. I know I don't have enough experience to create my own race but I hope it wouldn't be that bad.

After looking at everything I tried out an idea I had and made a new race. I took mostly from the Half-elf and added some Half-dragon.

Half-Dragon Half-elf
Armor Class: improves by +4.
Abilities: Increase the ability scores as follows: Str +4, Con +3, Int +1, Cha +1.
Racial Traits
+2 to One Ability Score: Half-elf characters get a +2 bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation to represent their varied nature.
Medium: Half-elves are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Half-elves have a base speed of 30 feet. The half-dragon can fly at twice the creature's base land speed (average maneuverability) if it grows wings.
Low-Light Vision: Half-elves can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light. See Additional Rules.
Darkvision: See in the dark up to 60 feet.
Adaptability: Half-elves receive Skill Focus as a bonus feat at 1st level.
Elf Blood: Half-elves count as both elves and dragons for any effect related to race.
Draconic Immunities: Half-dragons are immune to sleep, paralysis, and energy of the same type as its parent's breath.
Elven Immunities: Half-elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
Overbearing Strength: All close range weapons break easily from your draconic strength. (All melee weapons prohibited.)
Keen Senses: Half-elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception skill checks.
Languages: Half-elves begin play speaking Draconic and Elven. Half-elves with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).

I made a new trait too since I plan on only using this race for a single campaign and learning all the rules. I figured it would balance my character out some by limiting myself to ranged and unarmed only.

Well I had given thought to the sorcerer/disciple routes but the problem is that my GM isn't allowing anything past base classes normal or advanced he said and I quote "ok variant builds are not allowed. please just stick to the base class in the advanced players guide." and that was directed at me. He's willing to work with me on the race if and only if we can figure out a fair way to incorporate it.

Funny thing is he is giving it serious consideration we just need to figure out how to fairly incorporate it into my Half-Elf without it being unfair to the other PCs.

My scores were 17 17 16 13 12 10.
I assigned them with my current knowledge as 13 17 12 17 10 16.
Like I stated in the previous statement I am leaning towards Summoner and mentioning Rogue only because of the Multitalented racial trait. The reason I wanted to do Half-Dragon is due to the fact of everyone I know just ASSUMING a Half-Elf is mixed with Human. Dragons are my favorite creatures and there are plenty of myths and lore of Dragons being able to change form so it wouldn't be too far fetched of an idea. I only wanted the long bow due to the effective range. I plan to make a biped humanoid to accent my characters Draconic side. Sort of like he is slowly discovering himself over the course of the campaign. If I can talk my GM into letting me use at least alternate traits I will toss Multitalented as that is a pointless trait for me.

We get to roll 24d6, drop 6 worst rolls, group in sets of 3, and assign to ability scores. He is lenient if you still end up with some 2's and bumps it a little so no stat is under 10. We can use traits but he said no alternate builds for now while we are still learning. If I could I would replace the multitalented since I don't need rogue. The only other thing I need to truly know is how do I figure out my eidolons stats? Use another character sheet and do it the same as I did with me?

I am literally brand new to Pathfinder and I am wanting to make a Half-elf/Half-dragon PC that is a summoner with rogue as my second favored class. I would like to be able to use longbows to help my eidolon out. Is there anything anyone could suggest?
