Backstory:
Delitash was born to minor nobles in Rahadoum, rulers of a small town in the Napsune Mountains. Her parents were traditionalists, content to abide by their nation’s ardent atheism and assuming that their daughter would one day marry another noble and take their place. This might well have come to pass, were it not for Delitash’s uncle Jiri. Her father’s younger brother, Jiri had left for the capital at a young age to study magic, eventually becoming involved with a secretive organization known as the Esoteric Order of the Palatine Eye. He spent the ensuing years on mysterious missions around the Inner Sea, returning occasionally to his hometown to regale his niece with tales of his many exploits, both real and invented.
Despite her parents’ disapproval, at the age of 17 Delitash resolved to follow in her uncle’s footsteps. She convinced Jiri to help her sneak away from her parents, though he required that that she too acquire an arcane education before joining him in the Order. After years of learning wizardry at the Occularium in the city of Manaket, Delitash recently traveled to Magnimar to meet up with her uncle and finally be inducted into the Order. However, Jiri was delayed by a critical mission in Ustalav. While waiting for her uncle, Delitash happened to meet Keleri Deverin, who she remembers Jiri mentioning in his stories. Hoping that she is also a member of the Order, Delitash has has been doing her best to get into Keleri’s good graces and learn more of the Order’s activities.
Personality:
Delitash tries to approach problems methodically and always act in accordance with her personal code of ethics. However, because of her relative inexperience she isn’t sure if she can really uphold these ideals in difficult situations. She is constantly curious and prone to long digressions on topics she finds interesting, despite being rather introverted overall. Delitash does retain some of her homeland’s prejudice against religion, but recently has been trying to learn more about the gods and decide for herself whether worshipping them is really as harmful a practice as she has always been taught.
