I created a couple sets of maps to hand out to the players for Red Lake Fort. However, I plan to add some background about the maps being worn and saved from fire. So I did some editing in Gimp, including invaluable help from the burnt-paper script from Patrick Stein...

Redlake Fort Burnt Maps.

For the files that include "burn me" in the name I plan to actual burn the paper to see how they turn out. Immersion is the key to an RPG! ...

These are very cool. Thank you for sharing!!

Thank you for the reply and the help Nyerkh. Your answer did help me understand it better.

Hey Folks,
I am hopeful that some can clear up a little confusion. I have been looking over the Special Weapon Proficiency Feat and wonder what the benefit would look like for a Mechanic.
The Mechanic gets Basic Melee Weapon Proficiency, Grenades and Small Arms. By taking this feat, would I be able to a single weapon above what I am proficient in and not have the -4 penalty? Or am I just overtired and not getting the intent of the feat.

As always, thank you in advance for your help with this.

Yes, and they should be back in stock sometime in the next couple of weeks so please check back.

Thank you for the quick reply Jeff and the great news!!!

Too everyone above who commented, Thank You!!! I am sitting here working on a 1st Level Warpriest and this thread answered all my questions in regards to Sacred Weapon.

Note that the pregens linked in the above two posts are built using the full Pathfinder RPG ruleset, not just the Beginner Box!

Thanks Vic, I appreciate the clarification as I did notice some differences when comparing the BB Cleric, Figher, Rogue and Wizrad to the Pre-Gens.

The Pre Gen Barbain gives me more than enough info that will allow me to "reverse engineer" it and allow it to function like the other four BB PCs. Basically, it will save me time.

Running the group later today.
After an intro of the basic concepts and character make-up, we will use the BB Character Sheets to fill the info on the sheets. Go over some of the simple mechanics ( movement, skills, Roll Playing vs. Role Playing and combat). From there I took the Beginner Box Bash Demo: Terrors and added in about 3-4 more encounters and created a nice little mini adventure.

Thanks again to all that helped!!

Pregens

Those are the official, PFS character sheets for the pregens - should be able to get Amiri's off there, it has everything that a normal sheet would have :)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

Greatly appreciated!!! Exactly what I was looking for!!

Had a question that I hope someone can answer for me....

I was wondering if there is more information on Amiri that what is presented in the Players Pack?

I am starting 5 new players this weekend...using the 4 characters in the Beginning Box (using the 4 Pre-Gen Guide sheets to help walk the new players by having them fill in the Beginning Box Character Sheet), I wanted to add the level 1 Barbarian but the info from the Player Pack doesn't have the (Section B) Ability Scores or Sections G Weapons and Attacks, H Armor and Armor Class, I Feats and J Equipment (K for Spells).

It would make things much easier for me starting this group is there was a bit of uniformity to our start.

I hope I am clear with this and if not, I apologize.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the kind words.....however, I have no idea what "stars" mean.

For clarification's sake, you get a GM star for playing (and reporting) PFS games to paizo.com.

You get your first star at 10 tables of GM credit. Besides it just being cool to be recognized, there are a few small bonuses (I'd look through the Guide to Organized Play for the details), and you can replay (for credit) one scenario per GM star.

So it's kinda nice.

Cool!!! I did see mention of stars in the Guide...just didn't connect.

How'd it go?

Hey Chris,

It went great!! Ran Goblinblood, and it went smooth. I am planning on using all of the suggestions everyone made, including Infernal. Don't know I didn't reach out sooner because the help was great and now I have a nice little cache of mods!!

Dark Elf,

Way to step up and take the reins for your group! :)

Hopefully you'll like GMing and we'll see a star on your name soon.

As a sort of incentive towards that star, I would offer to run a game for you in person.

Since I can't, I would be happy to GM my personal favorite (The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment) over Roll20 and Teamspeak for you and up to five (5) other people in this thread if you'll PM me and we can find a mutually agreeable time.

Best,
Rob

Hey Rob,

Thanks for the kind words.....however, I have no idea what "stars" mean.

I would like to try and play via a chat system. I have never done that before and can't speak for my group. I will ask them next time we meet. But if you ever need mad extra for an online game, please consider me!!

Thanks again,
-Bill

Folks,
I can't thank all of you enough....I am wrapping up my day at work and going to head out in a little bit and head to gaming. Not only was I able to print up a couple scenarios but I now have a nice little resource for when this happens again.

Your help is greatly appreciated and I am thankful to have such an awesome and supportive community that I can rely on for solid and thoughtful advice!!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hey Folks,
Here is the short and quick....

1. My gaming group's GM just told me he can't make tonight's game

2. I am hoping to run a easy PFS scenario tonight.

3. So I am looking for a scenario that I can download today and pretty much run it on the fly TONIGHT!!

4. This group has already played: First Steps Part 1: Service To Lore, Master of Fallen Fortress and Confirmation.

I appreciate any and all help with this!!!!

Thanks,

-Bill

Very Cool....Thanks for sharing!!

Chris,
This is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much! I will begin the campaign the first week of July and I am using the next couple of weeks to do character creation, background and help the noobs become comfortable with the system in general. I have very little time to do prep work, so I am relying on resources like the one you created to assit me and save time!!

BRAVO-BRAVO

Let's keep sharing ideas!

Just adding to the compliments....LOVE THE NEW STAT BLOCKS!!

Erik,
I am in the middle of reading the adventure right now and so far it looks bad-azz!!

This is the first Dungeon adventure I am running in about a year or so and I am very, VERY pleased with the detail and the monster stat layout makes it a breeze to look at!!

I plan on running a mixed group of noobs and experienced (4-6 players) starting at 1st level.

Keep up the great work.....
