Originally hailing from Karaz-A-Karak, Damli has spent most of his childhood apprenticed to the master metallurgists in Everpeak. He followed his master, Brungnir, into the Empire proper to bring Dwarfcraft weaponry to their Imperial allies when Archaeon led the Storm of Chaos. Along the way, a large group of Beastmen attacked the caravan, killing most of the warriors. Damli escaped with his life, but has no idea if his master still lives. For now, he toils in the Empire, using his considerable skill at the forge to make ends meet. He hopes to amass enough coin to outfit an expedition to find Brungnir and return to Karaz-A-Karak with his master, be it with his shield or upon it.
