Taking in the situation, Dakkon puts away his shield, loads his heavy crossbow and sneaks towards the door with Janos, motioning for the other man to open it, and readying an action to fire at any sudden movement inside. Initiative- 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Seemed a fair player assumption that wraiths are usually incorporeal so thought i'd pre-roll a miss chance.

Probably best to get it all in asap, in most PBP's if you are missing out on the RP due to post infrequency its kinda tough luck unless the DM's happy to retcon; and the others had lots of time to reply in this section. 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10 Hmm... Yes we must hurry. These cowardly tactics irk me greatly, and I am anxious to plunge my trident into this cur's chest.

Perhaps it is better destroyed, so that further mishaps do not occure. Nay sir, we should allow Yargos to redeem himself for his initial meddling, and then return the codebook to the Pathfinder's as promised. It will be safe in their hands, once Yargos has called off the undead.

Dakkon looks visibly uncomfortable at the old man's claims, but says nothing to refute them. By Gorum he declares, When we have dealt with this wretch Nessian I will personally guard this codebook with my life until it has been delivered safely into your hands, Yargos. When will my damn countrymen realise that such trickery is beneath Taldor! Dakkon appears to be visibly shaking in anger.

(Assuming we have now rescued all of them) Dakkon moves around the area, ignoring his wound and picking up his weapons, inspecting them for damage. Satisfied, he wrenches his trident out of the thug and keeps an eye out for trouble; trusting that his companions can deal with the civilians. He also reloads his crossbow.

Doh... i'd rolled that one that hit in an earlier post ^ :( but nevermind. Yeah I still threaten squares, but attack at a -4 due to being prone. Dakkon drops his crossbow, leaving a small stockpile of weapons on that square (Shield, Crossbow, Short Sword...) and stands up while pulling his trident over his shoulder and wielding it in two hands (I've provoked an AOO from the Thug- my AC is a little lower due to not having my shield in hand). Dakkon then 5-foot steps so that he is flanking T4, and thrusts his Trident, attempting to impale the Thug on the three spines of his deadly weapon. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 Edit: Ninjaed! I hit him anyway :D As Dakkon goes before Wadi, I guess Wadi will not 5-foot step to provide flanking as Dakkon has already maneuvered to get flanking with him. Wadi, you may as well post a different action as yours has become irrelevant by the time your initiative comes around; I expect with 11 damage I have dropped him.

Using his weight to help keep the chain weighted down and keep the prisoners from falling to their doom, Dakkon drops his weapons, draws a crossbow and takes a single, carefully aimed shot at the Thug threatening Janos with his loaded crossbow. 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Edited to show the correct weapon damage roll; crossbow is heavy not light. Missed anyway :( Edit: Hate to be the rules lawyer again :( but Allara your firing into a melee so your attack roll is at -3. Suspect you have missed either way though. Final Edit: No AOO on T4 either as he ran past me? Curse you thugs! :P

OOC: Did Dakkon not get an AOO on T3 as he fled south-east? If he did, he lunges with his short sword viciously at the fleeing culprit. AOO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Seeing the peril the prisoners on the West side are in, Dakkon smoothly 5-foot steps into melee with T4, casually stepping on T6's unconscious body and moving into his original location, attacking T4 with a brutal combination of shield bashing and short sword thrusts. OOC: As I am now duelling 1 on 1 +1 to AC unless someone else gets involved. Short Sword: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Heavy Shield: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 Assuming this drops his foe, Dakkon will attempt to leap on top of the chain (as P4 is adjacent to him; effectively he is falling prone onto the chain as a free action). If his attack does not drop his foe, he will remain standing.
Male Human Fighter 1
Drawing his weapon and shield (TWF + BAB +1) while charging, Dakkon roars a battle cry- "For Taldor! Flee cowards! and charges to the square directly north-east of T6 (30 feet), and strikes T6 with his spiked heavy steel shield (Dakkon's short sword is in his off-hand). 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 If the attack hits- 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Dakkon sighs heavily as he is forced to trudge through more disgusting, dirty district in order to get to the Soggy Piper; a sore sight indeed. May my Lord in Iron grant me the patience to deal with these slums and their filthy inhabitants, and the strength to destroy those who would hinder our task Dakkon thinks to himself. "I'm just going to have a look around the building for other exits before we enter... I don't want any surprises..." Dakkon does a circuit of the building, looking specifically for any other entrances to it and possible escape avenues. 20 - 3 = 17 Perception Roll

If he is willing to talk, and does not push either Wadi or Nyria down. . . Janos will ask Dakkon off-handedly "So, what warriorly exploits can your sword claim, good sir?". While his thoughts are sour, Dakkon is well-mannered enough to move past the others gently without shoving them. "I have fought several skilled swordsmen and am a notable duellist back in Taldor. I was trained by an Elven Blademaster named Nemir, a training that made me who I am today. I hope to let my actions speak for me Janos, I am more comfortable with action than words. My shield is both my defence and my greatest weapon, and my combat style reflect this. Lets hope this outing for the Pathfinders allows me to expand my list of exploits." he says with a wry smile.

Dakkon was been attempting to look nonchalant but was quite obviously listening on the whole conversation and studying the others; subtlety is clearly not his strong suit. "Here for a mission for the Pathfinder's hmm? Perhaps the Captain felt I needed some assistance in whatever task he has for me. I suppose it will do no harm to have you all along; certainly I can perhaps learn more of your cultures and homelands. I will do my best to keep you all safe from harm, provided none of you become a liability. I assume you haven't all had the strict levels of training I have had so I will endeavour to use my expertise in combat to protect you; my Lord Gorum would have it no other way, if thou art to be my boon companions." Smiling at the Qadiran- "And I shall assume your comment about Tyrants was a light-hearted joke Sir, indeed; it is one I have heard before. Perhaps if I enunciate the name properly we shall avoid confusion- Ty-Ran-Thul; its a soft T."

Dakkon Tyranthul boldly strides into the Pathfinder Lodge, always wary for trouble and ready to spring into action at a moment's notice if need be- you could rarely trust anyone not from the Empire these days. Entering the entrance hall he saw a few strangers also waiting. Must I wait to see the Venture-Captain behind this riff-raff? How demeaning he thinks bitterly as he enters. Giving the others within the room a stiff bow, Dakkon clears his throat and announces himself formally as Dakkon of the esteemed Tyranthul Family, citing both his lineage and the deeds of his house. He does not wait for a response, or for them to introduce themselves; but begins to sit in the corner, seemingly muttering to himself bitterly. OOC: Dakkon's a bit of an arrogant, rude ass... Classic spoilt Taldor noble patriot... Don't take it personally :).
I have modified Dakkon very slightly, lowering his Strength to 16 and raising his Int back to 13, and spent the extra skill point I gained from doing so/changed my skill modifiers. His background is also there now, so he's good to go. Edit: Also dropped Quick Draw in favour of Shield Focus. Ill pick Quick Draw up later.

All I looked at before making my previous post was the alias profiles. Could I ask you to add the information you've got in this thread to the alias, for my own ease of use? No worries, the alias profile is a bit new to me but I will update it if I get a chance this evening (gf is demanding computer to do work for most of the rest of the evening :S)
