core book page 563: "A creature can generally notice the presence of an active invisible creature within 30 feet with a DC 20 Perception check. The observer gains a hunch that “something’s there” but can’t see it or target it accurately with an attack."

this rule seems to me that makes any stealth roll useless.
imagine a master infiltrator rogue with 20 ranks at stealth trying to move past some guards(10 ranks on perception). drinks a potion of invisibility, that gives him +20 on his roll. then rolls a 20. thats a 60 DC on perception ckecks for the guards to notice him, olmost impossible!!! BUT theres the damn HUNCH, with DC only 20 the guards think thats something there.
then the rogue says, next time no invisibility potion, only stealth!!

i clearly dont understand the benefits of invisibility on stealth/infiltrate if a zero level blind/paralyzed/deaf/mute or whatever else humanoid(or not) has the HUNCH. except if this 20 DC perception check doesnt apply on stealthed creatures, ONLY invisible.

im sure theres another post like this, but i need a quick answer on a fullattack bonuses/penalties.

rogue, 15 lvl. dual weild short swords.
20 dex(+5)
feats: two weapon fighting, improved and greater!

can u plz help with the penalties?
forget other factors and magic weaopons, just a simple full attack. = 6 attacks (3 main + 3 off hand)

the twf feats are clear on penalties, but im asking if the -2 from twf feat is added to -5 and -10 of itwf and gtwf?

1. Sword of Subtlety is +1, on sneak attacks becomes a +5 or +4 ??

and 2. can i enchant a name items with extra magical properties? ex. sword of subtlety with ghost touch, and how much will cost?

hey all, quick question:

mythic trickster is surounded by enemies. can he choose the deadly dodge (+4 ac) and total defence (for another +6 ac *high acrobatics) and use the opportinity attacks from the enemies that missed him NOT direcly on them, but as the power says "or force that creature to reroll the attack and change the target to a creature of your choice that is adjacent to you and within the attacker's reach" ??

in total defence you cant take att of opportunity your self, but what about dodging so the miss hits another??


a simple question:

i want a magical rapier for my new swashbuckler. lvl 14.
must be +1 for the following: keen, ghost touch and agile. all cost +1 bonus = +4 total bonus. so 32000 gp, correct?
and at 14lvl +1 bonus att/dmg is low, how about +2, or +3? 50k and 72k gold?

OR its enchancement cost +2000gp.?

hey, i was wondering about the cost of creating gloves or gauntlets with a bonus on attack for my rogue. is it possible? was thinking for permanent bless on gloves or something like that, or heroism, or another spell.

now about the cost:
Spell level × caster level × 2,000 gp, it says on corebook.
2 x 2 x 2000 x 1,5(10min/lvl spell) = 12000 gp
as much as a cloak of displacement/minor costs to create.
is that right? im asking cause the modifier for blur is x2 (1min/lvl) and it should cost 16000 to create

its a bit confusing, if it is possible to create.

im open on suggestions about a hand slot m.item(seems most appropriate) with a bonus on attacks. sneaks or normals. with my shity stats and dual weilding my bonus is very low for my lvl

**btw, i just saw that the key spell to create sword of subtlety is blur. its +1 only sword with +4 bonus on sneak attacks, thats very good but its 11300gp to create. ~23000gp for 2 swords(dual weild). paying that much can i enchant my +3 axiomatic* short swords? *(part of the story, not my choice)
