Shadow's Status

OK, it's been a while since Loup has posted. I am going to run with 4, let's see how that goes!

Shadow's Status

Longacre - Longacre Notary

Cimri shrugs, "Alright, let's pay the man a visit!"

The group heads towards the Notary's office when one of the young townsfolk approaches Alicarus. He pauses and nods, "Interesting. Very interesting".

He then turns to the rest of the group, "Corven, would you accompany me? Friends, let us meet at the Ash House later. I believe that Corven and I need to follow up on this".

Cimri smiles, "Just don't go throwing your services to Hel and I'll be fine with whatever else you do".

Alic grins, "Would you be jealous if I did".

Cimri shakes her head and merely makes her way to the Notary's office.

As the group arrives at Wenbrade's front door, you all find it open with a short line of people waiting for the man's services within.

How do you proceed?

Shadow's Status

I see that MANY of the games I have updated tonight have languished since January 23. It's amazing how s!$# goes down and in the blink of an eye it's 3 weeks later.

Anyway, update now.

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Mid Afternoon the Jail

Cimri smiles at Pelleas, "Alright. Let's pay your infuriating bureaucrat a visit shall we?

I still think we should utilize Razelago or at least keep him in the loop. We're too new at this to start alienating those who the Arch Baron sees as trusted agents".

Off to see the bureaucrat Wenbrade? Feel free to brainstorm ideas OOC to track down this local rabble rouser!

Shadow's Status

My apologies once more, trying to get to updates but these days its been a challenge. We lost Corven for now though I think we'll stick with the group as is. Not sure about Eowithe either. I know that Alicarus has been buried RL.

Let's roll with 3 plus Cimri, that'll help us move faster too.

Pelleas Markov wrote:
Just checking in. I know Shadow is pretty busy, just wanted to make sure he wasn't also waiting for something from us.

No, it's me that has fallen behind.

Heavy duty RL s*#& on top of the mundane crap has caused endless delays on PbP for me.

I have an update for this thread scheduled for tomorrow on my status thread. Hopefully I can get to it. Lost a significant amount of time tonight catching up on games I am a PC in that i fell WAAAY behind in.

I probably spent more time on Paizo tonight than I did on the boards for the last 2-3 weeks combined.

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Mid Afternoon the Jail

Cimri excuses the Hobgoblin, "Thank you for the information. Good luck on your journey".

After he exits Cimri shakes her head, "Are you saying that we should skip right over Razelago and begin to report to the Arch Baron directly? I am not sure whether it would be wise to assume that just because we met the Arch Baron, we should cut Razelago out of our reports.

I am all for arresting the Bard but I am not sure he is anything but a sympathizer, if he knew more he would have spilled, he's no hero".

Sorry for the delay there, Holidays slowed me down more than I expected them to.

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Mid Afternoon the Jail

After the Hobgoblin settles in he finds your group at the Jail and relates the following tale, "I am Zaggar, as I stated earlier, I served as a mercenary for the Duke of Remesiana in the past, and am returning from Isger to serve there again.

I thank you again for making an exception for me.

It is good that you allowed me to enter the city for my tale is one as protectors of this city you must know for Rebellion lurks behind the eyes of some of your citizens!

Recently, the Hellknights of the Order of the Godclaw announced they had recovered an ancient sword from the Menador Mountains. The Hellknights readily identified the relic as Heart’s Edge, a blade once carried by the goddess Iomedae, whom the order worships as one part of the lawful, polytheistic faith of the Godclaw. Well versed in Iomedae’s stringent faith and her life as a mortal crusader, the Hellknights claimed the weapon as a symbol of their order’s righteousness and proof of divine favor.

Some of Iomedae’s faithful didn’t agree with this interpretation. After the Hellknights refused the church’s request for the sword’s return, a zealous paladin of Iomedae named Alexeara Cansellarion issued a call to the faithful of the Inheritor to reclaim Heart’s Edge from the Order of the Godclaw. In Alexeara’s view, the Hellknights’ worship of the Godclaw did not align with the church’s traditional teachings, making them heretics unworthy of bearing the goddess’s blade. Hundreds of knights and clerics from Andoran, Cheliax, Molthune, and beyond responded to the call and marched on Citadel Dinyar in Isger, where they defeated the Order of the Godclaw and ousted the Hellknights from their citadel.

But Alexeara Cansellarion had her eyes on a far greater prize than a Hellknight citadel in Isger or even Heart’s Edge. The Cansellarions were a noble family of Westcrown who lost their titles and holdings when the House of Thrune emerged victorious from the Chelish Civil War. Iomedae herself was Chelish as well and, in Alexeara’s eyes, a Thrune-dominated Cheliax is as much an affront to the Inheritor as it is to her personally. Emboldened by her victory over the Order of the Godclaw and with Heart’s Edge in hand, Alexeara Cansellarion founded a new knightly order dedicated to Iomedae, based at Citadel Dinyar. This order of knights, called the Glorious Reclamation, promises nothing less than a purge of the diabolical ideals that the Thrice- damned House of Thrune embodies and a reclaiming of the nation in Iomedae’s name.

Priests of Iomedae have fanned out from Citadel Dinyar to begin preaching a return to the worship of Iomedae in Cheliax, exhorting the faithful to rise up in support of the Glorious Reclamation and overthrow House Thrune. In response, Thrune has imposed martial law in the empire’s largest cities, and imperial soldiers have begun rooting out rebel rats’ nests from Corentyn to Ostenso.

You can see why the Duke would need all the aid he can get at a time like this!

Though it’s been driven out of the empire’s heartlands and into the countryside and smaller towns along the fringes of Cheliax, even perhaps here..."

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Morning the Next Day - The North Gate

The Hobgoblin bows, "I thank you. Do you wish a full report form me before I move along to the south?"

Shadow's Status

I am going to stick with the current 5 for a while. Once we are in less of a free form point of the AP, I'll consider bringing in a 6th.

Shadow's Status

Finally back in the swing of things.

Shadow's Status

Cimri considers, "Should we fetch a writ from the ArchBaron, which could take time or just draft our own writ?"

Shadow's Status

Shadow's Status

And once more we move forward!

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Morning the Next Day - The North Gate

The Hobgoblin scowls but replies, "I served as a mercenary for the Duke of Remesiana in the past, and am returning from Isger to serve there again.

Are your new rules due to these damned rabble rousers?

Along my way back, I passed close to Citadel Dinyar and saw that Iomedaean knights had driven out the Hellknight Order of the Godclaw from their citadel!

This little spark of Rebellion is becoming a real crisis".

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - Morning the Next Day - The North Gate

As the Champions of the Arch Duke arrive at the North Gate and scale the tower onto the battlements they do indeed see a Hobgoblin, heavily armed and armored staring at the gate arms crossed looking none too pleased.

He looks up and snarls when he sees you all, ]b]"You lot the ones I need to speak with about gaining entry into a damned city I've Been in dozens of times... through this very damned gate!"[/b]

One of the guards leans over to Cimri, "He's no writ..."

Cimri looks to the rest of you, "Perhaps a contribution for us to write him a writ?"

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

Zoag bows, "I am sure that you will appreciate continue information that I provide to you all".

---

Kintargo - Morning the Next Day - Kintargo Jail

As you all arrive Cimri is already present, "She grins at Eowithe. Tonight you will finally meet Razelago. Tell me gentl..."

Before she can finish, a breathless city guard bursts into the room, "Uh, not sure what to call all of you but we've an issue at the north gate and could use your help. There's a hobgoblin, demanding entrance and he's becoming belligerent at our refusal to let him in. He's armed to the teeth!"

Shadow's Status

Once this scene winds down, we'll be on the next day, I think we are just about done now :-)

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

Zoag puts his hands up at Pelleas' question, "Indeed, 10 can be the limit my friends. I am greedy not stupid. A greedy man lives a good life, a stupid man, a short one.

I am glad we could come to such an agreement. Feel free to leave my first payment on the desk as I tell you something you may find interesting.

No one, and I mean no one among the former Sheriff or her deputies have left the city. At least not by my docks. This is not the first city I have lived in within this wonderful Country and I can tell you that most such officials who are pushed out leave soon thereafter. I suppose the question is, why is she staying?

Not that I would ask her of course..."

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

He frowns a bit, "Well, I don't want a bad relationship with you all like I had with Sheriff Staelish. Tell you what, 6 gold per week. Each time I bring you something of value, that makes a real impact, you pay me one more gold the week thereafter. Is that a deal more to you liking Mr. Castiel?"

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

He frowns, "Seven".

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

He frowns, "I suppose, I could be convinced to lower my price. What do you believe is more reasonable. Mr. Vasago right?"

Shadow's Status

Finally better and finally updated.

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

Mr. Zoag grins, "Alright, I suppose I've built up the suspense enough.

It's well known that I run the Longacre docks situated north of the town. Most of the local transport of goods, correspondence, and passengers to and from the nearby Whisper River cross my docks.

I had made such an overture to the previous Sheriff, perhaps if she had agreed she would have had more of a feel for what was happening in the city. She didn't and look what happened to her.

Now, the offer, you all pay me 10 gp a week and in exchange, I'll keep you apprised of the most interesting gossip and cargo coming off the river.

An offer you can't, or shouldn't, refuse".

You have received 4 points of natural healing and after tonight will receive 2 more. If you have spells to heal, you can certainly use them tonight to heal in full.

Shadow's Status

Kintargo - The Docks - Night

Cimri agrees to prowl around outside while the rest of you, including Eowithe head on into his office on the docks.

Seated in the room casually is a man who appears to know how to handle himself. A human whose muscles have muscles which are obvious as he wears no armor or weapons, even seated he's nearly 6' tall!

The office is in neat order, paperwork perfectly piled in different sections with notes next to each pile indicating their purpose. A rug covers most of the office and there is a second entrance near where Mr. Zoags is seated. Next to the muscle is a set of stairs that lead up. A few barrels also sit in here but no other clutter. Though the place is in good order the structure itself could use a remodel as the water has warped some of the boards causing them to creak underfoot.

The human behind the desk stands and comes from around to shake hands, "Greetings! As I understand it, your band, along with Cimri have become the new deputies here in Kintargo yes?

I'd offer for you all to sit but room is limited.

Besides, I don't think this will be to long of a meeting, the proposition I have for you I think is one you will no doubt agree to readily!"

Shadow's Status

Eowithe with Cimri

"I'm sure he's probably watching us with one of his little spies so he'll summon us to meet you soon enough, if not, we'll pay him a visit in the morning.."

---

Kintargo - The Jail - Dusk

Cimri nods to Alicarus, "Interesting, I've heard the name but never met the man. It's getting dark now, should we head over to see him? Do you think it's some sort of trap that we should be wary of?"

Pelleas Markov wrote:

For the moment, I'm still here. It's still very unclear what exactly the storm's path up the coast will be, and for the moment there isn't an evacuation order in place for my area. If the storm continues completely over land, it may not be so terrible when it hits us since it'll lose a lot of steam. If it sticks close to the coast and keeps gaining power from the warm water in the Atlantic though, that could be... rough. I was out stocking up on emergency supplies today just in case. If there's an evacuation order, I'll probably get it on Saturday or Sunday. If not, I'll be staying here to weather what we get hit with. They're pretty good about calling for evacuations, so if they don't it should be safe to stay.

At any rate, it is very likely that if the storm hits at all my power will be out for a bit. The island's power system is held together with chewing gum and some half-assed prayer, so I won't be surprised if it goes out. However, assuming that's the worst that happens I'll either put up a notification of such with my phone or get Loup or Kamen to let people know.

Let's hope it hits you as just a bad storm and not the mega storm it currently is.

I was in NJ for Sandy was out of power for DAYS and I had nothing more than a bucket full of water in the basement with no damage anywhere else, I was pretty thankful for that compared to what happened to some folks even just down the block from me!

Spent many nights playing solitaire MTG by candle light :-)

Shadow's Status

Eowithe with Cimri

Hel laughs, "Undisciplined? You and yours let go two criminals after a public lashing and no trials. I assure you, I and those I gather will be much more disciplined. Remember Cimri, I have as much right to govern here as you do, despite the appearance I know you are trying to give off you are not the Sheriff".

That said she heads out of the jail without even a glance back.

---

Alic and the Congregation

The man bows low to Alic, "It's not my intention to be rude sir, I'm just not all that important. You can call me Jack, it's what everyone else calls me. Tonight it is".

---

Kintargo - The Jail - Dusk - All Together Now!

The Compact Members gather together once more!

Shadow's Status

Updated, besides Eowithe and Alic, I think the rest of your scenes for the day are done.

It seems that the evening will be filled with a visit to Mr. Zoags or perhaps some tracking of Hel.

No one else found anything unusual this day in their wanderings.

Shadow's Status

Longacre

---

Cole - Among the People

A good third of the people heard all about the "death angel", in fact, more believe in the death angel's existence than that of the goodly angel knight or so they claim at least.

---

Eowithe with Cimri

"If you wanted input as to what to do with them, you should have attended to us Hel.

What was done was what we thought best collectively.

Unless you have something useful to add..."

Hel grins wickedly, "I've nothing but criticisms for that particular set of choices you made. I shall find my own set of deputies to act alongside me, I know where to find a few my dear. And when we administer justice I suggest you stay clear".

Cimri raises an eyebrow, "Is that a threat?"

"A promise", the angry woman retorts quickly.

---

Pelleas - Longacre Notary

Wenbrade sighs and removes his spectacles, "Mr. Markov, for a man that grew up in a Noble family, you seem rather dull with respect to how the game is played.

You can strike at me with your bullies but I can strike back at you as well. Perhaps not with the blade but I have other means to do so. Return when you have given thought to just how you can make me your friend, this, is not a good start.

Good day to you". He places his spectacles back upon his nose and begins to act a if you were not there.

---

Castiel - the Last Stand

You and Kels keep the crowd thoroughly entertained. Kels is certainly enthusiastic to be at least accepting if not entirely warm to your suggestions of comraderie.

---

Corven - On Patrol

Based on what Corven can see, the town has returned to some level of normalcy.

---

Alic and the Congregation

"My name ain't all that important sir. You must be dedicated to yer people here as to not heard of Mr. Ingoe Zoags! He runs the Longacre docks north of the town. Why don't you gather up your fellow deputies and the Sheriff and pay us a visit later this evening. Mr. Zoags has an offer for you all I think you'll find quite ah tempting".

Shadow's Status

And updated!

So it begins but see my status thread linked above...

Shadow's Status

Longacre - Same Day

Cimri smiles at Eowithe, "Excellent, glad you are on board. I'll see if I can set up a meeting with the Archbaron through Razelago, though I suppose you'll need to meet him first..."

---

Longacre - Next Day

Cole - Among the People

The next day you walk among the citizens making rounds as a representative of the Archbaron, some people are friendly, some are not. Most though at least make chit chat with you even if reluctantly.

Cole Diplomacy - Gather Information DC 15:
Even the friendliest of people only believe the "Angel Knight" to be a figment of Rebellious Minds. However, even the friendlies will not give up any actual names of those who are sympathetic to a Rebellion.

---

Eowithe with Cimri

A letter seems to appear as if from thin air on Cimri's desk. She open it, "It seems that Razelago is willing to meet with you this evening. Once the day comes to a close, we will close the Jail and head over to his location".

About mid-day Hel enters, "Tell me what you have learned about the Bard and why you let he and the Bar Keep free..."

Eowithe Sense Motive DC 15:
Hel appears to be seething that either were released by the group the day before.

---

Alic and the Congregation

The numbers attending your sermon this morning was much larger, by far, than any prior sermon you've ever given before! Whether popularity, notoriety, or sycophants is largely irrelevant to you, each will receive something from being here, you know it.

As the sermon ends a sleazy looking human male approaches you, "Morning Mr. Vorasik, my employer Mr. Zoags would like to meet with you regarding a business proposition, have you any interest?"

Alic Knowledge Local DC 14:
Ingoe Zoags, Mr. Ingoe, as most Longacre residents know him runs the Longacre docks north of the town.

---

Castiel - the Last Stand

The Last Stand is quite subdued today. Kels is in attendance singing what can only be described as a Dirge for his time on stage.

Caggan has hired a bodyguard to ensure that the maximum number of patrons is not exceeded creating a bit of a line outside as interest in coming to the Tavern, perhaps to see more drama, has increased since the past day.

Caggan grins as you ask to sing at his Tavern, "Business has never been better, it was worth it, it seems. Sing fer yer meal Bard and whatever tips ya get, I'll not pay ya".

Kels appears somewhat responsive to your advances though hesitant.

Castiel Sense Motive DC 13:
You're a hell of a lot older than people suspect, it takes a lot to fool you and you can see right through Kels, he has no interest in befriending you at all.

Castiel Perception DC 15:
Caggan's moving around awfully well for someone that took such a thorough scourging yesterday...

DMV ONLY:
Kels Bluff 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

---

Pelleas - Longacre Notary

Wenbrade Brakenbol is the go between for the ArchBaron and the populace. Razelago was strangely absent from the Ash House when you searched for him by day. Knowing that an ArchBaron will not appreciate you simply dropping by you have sought out the local go-between to understand what must be done to gain the ear of the ArchBaron whenever you want it.

The old silver haired bureaucrat drones on a bit before he finally says something useful... "..while you lineage is unquestioned Mr. Markov, the ArchBaron wants separation even from his closest subordinates. There are few he would dare to become close with as to have a 'familiar'. I am afraid you'll need to either go through me or anotehr of his trusted agents, I trust you know or Razelago?"

Pelleas Sense Motive DC 20:
This man has done it and he knows how but the Bastard just won't tell you! Make a Diplomacy check DC 22 or an Intimidation check DC 25 to force him to spill the beans!

---

Corven - On Patrol

Unlike Cole who is going out of his way to meet with people, you are better at observing them. Their comings, their goings, the signs that others fail to pick up on, you often do not fail to see.

Corven Perception DC 21:
As you walk through the city you cannot help but Notice Sheriff Rhona Staelish. She has laid low these past few days but you see her hair and her face, so much like Cimri's beneath a dark cloak as she enters a building, Trellis flower shop.

Shadow's Status

OK.

So this section of the adventure is really quite free form.

Let me know what each of you wish to do, do you want to assign roles, such as spymaster or information gatherer or beat walking muscle? Does anyone want to stay with Cimri at the Jail or be a runner to Razelago etc. etc.?

Once I know how the group wants to approach keeping the peace (or doing something else), I can assign skill checks or create encounters for each of you(or each of your groups).

Things will go quicker if you stay in one or two groups but if you each want to go off and do your own thing I'll not stop you.

This is likely an easier AP to run Table Top because of how free form it is but I think we'll be just fine via PbP but I'd prefer to have your input instead of just riding you all down a rail :-)

Shadow's Status

Longacre

Cimri nods in agreement, "Perhaps I'll send a missive to Hel to watch Caggan and keep her out of our hair. Problem is, she has as much right as we do to make judgments as she sees fit having agreed to the Compact.

I have some contacts in the city so I will keep an ear out for any odd rumors. In the meantime, as it seems that people believe I have replaced my Aunt, I'll take up a permanent spot at the Jail so people know they have somewhere to go if there is trouble or something to report and that will free all of you up to do, well, whatever it is each of you does best. We should find a way to stay in contact with one another while out on patrol or... whatever".

---

The next day, the city has returned to normal, as it were. The Last Stand is re-opened and Caggan is behind the bar instead of behind bars which seems to suit the townsfolk just fine.

Cimri has taken up the mantle if not the actual office of Sheriff and does just as she stated, sits at the Jail in case of signs of trouble.

Head to OOC.

Shadow's Status

Spectacular RP there folks.

Your handling of each situation is about as good as it gets.

I'll move us forward now.

Shadow's Status

Longacre - Town Square

Cole:
Indeed, the own is abuzz with the arrest. It seems he citizenry is split. Half believe he is a fool for doing what he did, the other half believe the ArchBaron is being far too heavy handed. None speak of the "Angel Knight".

Alic & Cimri:
Cimri shrugs, "Unfortunately, I am not the Sheriff. Fortunately, these citizens don't know that! I'll vest you with powers tomorrow before you do whatever the hell it is you plan to do. That'll be sufficient its more important that they perceive things a certain way then if things really are that way. Who knows, do your job well and maybe I'll get hot for you all over again..." She whispers in your ear then steps away from you quickly.

The Visit:
Caggan grins, "Do your worst".

The Punishment

Cimri begins the gathering by declaring Alic an, "Agent of the Crown itself!"

Kels steps into the crowd and he remains to watch the flogging unfold.

Initially, as his Punishment is meted out, Caggan throws out words, like 'coward' and 'freedom' which give the crowds a bit of a rise. The presence of Alic's allies and Castiel's songs though prevents anyone else from doing anything stupid.

The Citizenry applauds when the flogging ends, whether it is for Alic's masterful work or simply because the violence has ended is not clear.

Caggan takes the punishment well, better than Alic would have expected, he's tired but does not show it, at the end of the flogging. Somehow, some way, Caggan stands only a few minutes after the beating and stumbles away from the town square. At no point does he look at Alic or any of the rest of the group. It does no seem possible but it happens... No one assist him, he is a man alone so that either means that he has become a pariah or the people are too damn scared to be seen with someone who has raised the ArchBaron's ire, ad that of his cronies, so.

Feel free to speak amongst yourselves.

Shadow's Status

Longacre - The Jail

Cimri smiles, "Agreed, I will put the word out there that we would like the city to come out and meet the new law and order within Longacre. Come along Eowithe, I grew u my whole life in the city and I can give you a tour of the city and its citizenry. I will also give our report to Razelago, that Eowithe, I will need to do alone".

Eowithe:
You'll spend the rest of the day with Cimri learning about the city, go ahead and take a Miscellaneous bonus point in Knowledge Local.

Alright, the next day will be your show! Go ahead and describe what you do, where you do it and how you do it!

Shadow's Status

Update now!

Sorry for the long delay there folks. Now that the Ruins of Azlant Recruitment is humming along, posting will come much quicker!

That is the last new game I am recruiting for until something else closes down. It'll be a while before that happens based on the adventures I have going on right now.

Shadow's Status

Playing in 20+ games and running 26 (soon to be 27) is time consuming. Outside of the boards I have a fairly busy work schedule and of course a life!

Often I find that if I fall behind in updates, I need to make time to simply update a Discussion Thread to inform the PCs of a particular game that I am either going to be posting later in the day or week or will be on a break form the boards for one reason or another.

To save time updating so many damn threads I am going to open this thread and link all of my DM aliases (and PC aliases) to this thread to inform people as to status.

Of course if people feel the need to ask other questions outside of PbP feel free to do so but mainly this will be a thread dedicated to ensuring that my PCs know my status and to assure everyone that even though I may have some absences away from the boards (or particular games) that new thread will always be up to date with my status.

Shadow's Status

This section of the AP becomes a bit loose. Several events can take place in no particular order.

As for PC options as I see them:

1. Investigate this Lencia Visserene,
2. Simply patrol the city and see what, if any actions this mysterious rabble rouser takes.
3. You also can ignore what Razelago suggests (post Cimri consultation) as you do have the sashes and the Compacy now and kill both of these prisoners or release both or keep Caggain and release Kels.
4. Seek out Hel to censure her or just let her be a free agent.

Or something I have not thought of!

Shadow's Status

Longacre - The Jail

Cimri grins at Cole, "My my, you are full of surprises aren't you Cole?

I am afraid that I have never heard of a Lencia Visserene so she is no local.

I will visit with Razelago and see about moving Hel out and Eowithe i although she is not part of the compact so her true loyalties have not been tested. Before we get there my dear we will need to see you in action of course".

None of you are familiar with the name.
Do you want to retain Kels as a prisoner or let him go as he does not seem to know anything? Caggan clearly belongs here as he attacked and damn near killed Corven for what seems to be nothing.

Shadow's Status

Longacre - The Last Stand Tavern

The agents of the ArchBaron parade their captured charges in front of the patrons in a show of intimidation and it seems to work well enough. None say anything as the group exits.

The streets are quiet as the group leads a procession to the jail and locks their two prisoners up, settling in to the office area near the front door.

Longacre - The Jail

Cimri sits down and speaks, "I will make a report to Razelago regarding our success here and our falling out with Hel. But first, I would like to introduce you all to Eowithe who aided me as a concerned citizen when I searched the Bard's house. I think we should also consider whether we should work with her or you Azrael, is it? Please, convince us of your utility to our cause?

Also, we should probably have Cole here as part of this discussion, any of you know where he is? I hope not with Hel..."

Shadow's Status

Longacre - The Last Stand Tavern Out Back - Eowithe, Alicarus, Azrael, Corven, Pelleas, and Castiel

Cimri shrugs at Eowithe's announcement, "To be expected. No doubt they will be cowed by this happening.

So it seems you gentlemen have caught our little suspect", Cimri states.

Castiel's dirge begins as the door to the back closes, it seems to subdue the crowd within even more. At least as far as any of you can tell. Both Caggan and Kels stand in the back with heads held bowed.

"I fear I missed much, shall we take these two back to prison cells and debrief one another on what we have found? I have found a friend and it appears that you all have found a new companions as well", Cimri states gesturing to Azrael.

Shadow's Status

Longacre - The Last Stand Tavern Out Back - Eowithe, Alicarus, Azrael, Corven, Pelleas, and Castiel

Before any of you can respond to Kels Cimri and a woman who is not Hel step through the back door, "What the hell... Corven are you all right!?"

The man in the hood she addresses as Corven has a few nasty cuts on his face and neck!

Go ahead and describe each other to one another - finally, you are all together...

Shadow's Status

Longacre - Outside The Last Stand Tavern - Eowithe Mourngrym

Eowithe:
She appears to be a woman on a mission. Based on the faces of the citizens she passes by many know her but none address her by name.

You arrive outside of the Last Stand Tavern and Cimri pushes her way in. The place is in shambles and clearly a fight broke out here! Several people stand by the bar muttering.

Cimri speaks in a commanding voice, "Citizens, what took place here?"

One of the men by the bar replies, "Yer lookin' fer yer comrades they be out back roughin' up the proprietor..."

Sense Motive DC 15:
The patrons appear partially shocked but also partially angered by what just happened here, whatever it was that happened.

Cimri heads out through the back door motioning for you to follow.

Caggan does not cry out when his arm is twisted but he does wince in pain.

Kels frowns, "Fine, I've not much to tell and so I shall tell you rather then risk myself or my friend be subjected to your tender mercies.

I came across a woman in winged plate armor at dawn a couple days ago atop a hill a few miles outside town. She was praying, and when the dawn light reflected upon her sculpted helm, and I mistook her for an angel. Then she left, but I was so inspired by her presence I spent the rest of the day writing ballads about her. I know naught more of her..." He pauses.

Kels asks, "So shall we head down to your jail? I am pretty sure you have all just went out of your way to do this for nothing. I am an entertainer not a subversive..."
