Kintargo - Mid Afternoon the Jail
Cimri excuses the Hobgoblin, "Thank you for the information. Good luck on your journey".
After he exits Cimri shakes her head, "Are you saying that we should skip right over Razelago and begin to report to the Arch Baron directly? I am not sure whether it would be wise to assume that just because we met the Arch Baron, we should cut Razelago out of our reports.
I am all for arresting the Bard but I am not sure he is anything but a sympathizer, if he knew more he would have spilled, he's no hero".
Sorry for the delay there, Holidays slowed me down more than I expected them to.

Cole Sungazer |

"I more meant that the information needs to get to the archbaron's hands. If that means passing it on to the devil and letting him pass it up, then that's a perfectly workable plan. And personally, I'm far more interested in what the local priest has up her sleeve. Given her little act in the square and her place in the church, she's far more like to be a member of this revolution. Not that we can arrest her quite as easily unfortunately..."

Pelleas Markov |

"That reminds me, though. There is some... infuriating bureaucrat who, I'm positive, knows how to get the direct attention of the Archbaron for matters such as this. I suspect he wants me to play politics with him, if he wants anything, but he won't tell me what he knows. Of course, a few of us together could likely convince him to give up that information." Pelleas shrugs, then sighs. He frowns when Cimri mentions Kels. "Maybe not the time for it, but I figured I would mention it."
"As for Kels, sympathizers can be... broken. We can't be too heavy-handed, but allowing this insurrection to spread through the common people will cause issues, I'm sure. Perhaps capturing the local priest and making an example of her as well? We crush their spirit, we crush this little rebellion. Ideally we could do something about the leaders of the movement, but they don't seem to be arriving in Longacre any time soon."

Castiel Vasago |

"We could work to discredit the movement itself. At least, locally. A good story or song can inspire as much as it can inhibit people."

Kintargo - Mid Afternoon the Jail
Cimri smiles at Pelleas, "Alright. Let's pay your infuriating bureaucrat a visit shall we?
I still think we should utilize Razelago or at least keep him in the loop. We're too new at this to start alienating those who the Arch Baron sees as trusted agents".
Off to see the bureaucrat Wenbrade? Feel free to brainstorm ideas OOC to track down this local rabble rouser!

Pelleas Markov |

"Yes, no reason to get Razelago in a fuss. Of course, being able to directly have the Archbaron's ear is important. We don't always have the time to wait for messages to be sent and audiences to be made. Sometimes, it will be better to have a direct line." Pelleas grins, his head turning toward the office of Wenbrade. "Now, let's go show that incorrigible buffoon a visit he won't soon forget. We'll teach him to be such a snide bastard..."

Cole Sungazer |

"I feel like cutting out someone who's still useful is just going to cause us trouble. Especially if Razelago already has the archbaron's ear. We don't need him whispering in the other ear and undermining us if we anger him. And we don't need to anger the archbaron by being presumptuous."

Eowithe Mourngrym |

Eowithe watches the exchange, clearly this Wenbrade isn't held in high esteem by her new companions.
"Cimri's promised me a meeting with Razelago, but I'm all for direct communication with our sponsor. Who is this Wenbrade you speak of?"

Longacre - Longacre Notary
Cimri shrugs, "Alright, let's pay the man a visit!"
The group heads towards the Notary's office when one of the young townsfolk approaches Alicarus. He pauses and nods, "Interesting. Very interesting".
He then turns to the rest of the group, "Corven, would you accompany me? Friends, let us meet at the Ash House later. I believe that Corven and I need to follow up on this".
Cimri smiles, "Just don't go throwing your services to Hel and I'll be fine with whatever else you do".
Alic grins, "Would you be jealous if I did".
Cimri shakes her head and merely makes her way to the Notary's office.
As the group arrives at Wenbrade's front door, you all find it open with a short line of people waiting for the man's services within.
How do you proceed?

Pelleas Markov |

Pelleas looks at the collection of people from town waiting for the man's services, and frowns. "I... we ought to wait for them to finish. I don't want to, but throwing them out is exactly the kind of thing that will stir rebellion in the town amongst otherwise loyal citizens. We can't have that, not now." He looks at the line again, then sighs deeply. "We could wait, or take care of something else." The scowl on his face suggests Pelleas is loathe to leave without sticking it to the bureaucrat, but he doesn't say anything more.
