Drat posted as wrong avatar and didn't catch it before edit time was up teach me to rush :P

barber shop:
When you go back out to the main shop you notice that the priestess of Pharasma has left already. Brobior sits you down in turn and trims your hair perfectly giving each of you a shave as well. The smell of your baths lingers about you, giving Cinder the faint scent of peppers and giving Haydog a faint trace of coffee. You each receive a +2 Competence bonus to your Charisma scores for 48 Hours - go ahead and add this into your character sheet, also take the 5g off your char sheets

Aliben:
As your looking at your map you notice a woman dressed in black robes with silver trim, smelling of lilies, coming out of the Barber Shop and starting to head towards the center of town You can make knowledge checks about her, or talk to her before she goes if you wish

barber shop:
After Jinne opens the door you enter, looking around to see three wooden tubs which Jinne procedes to start filling with water. Jinne then goes over to a small cabinet where she takes out a small orange vial which she uses to add a few drops to each tub. She goes back to the cabinet, puts the bottle away and pulls out a set of towels, one for each of you before gesturing to the bins at the end of each tub.

Chilam:
You notice that the Inn doesn't seem to be very busy this early in the morning, there is a waitress making her way over to you, theres a bartender, and it looks like theres a man who has probably been sleeping off the previous nights hangover slumped over a table across the room who seems to have taken note of you

For those who went to the Burning Stone Inn instead:
The Burning Stone Inn while not actually being made of stone, does have a stone fire pit in the center of its Common room, around the circle formed by the fire pit are a series of dark benches arrayed around long wooden tables. Off the main common room is a staircase leading to a second floor, where private rooms are located, along with swinging doors leading into the kitchen. Errand the barmaid will come over to take your order and will reserve rooms for you if your interested in spending the night, all money in advance.

The roll is for ppl at the barbershop so go ahead and look Cinder

barbershop goers:
Suddenly the smell of lilies fills the room as the man opens a bottle, takes a long comb, dips it in, and starts pulling it through the woman's hair.

Anyone going to barbershop:

You conveniently arrive at the same time as some of the other people in your group who had gone a different way. The Barbershop seems to be a rather large building from the outside with a large front porch with several rocking chairs on it, all of which are currently unoccupied. The front door to the place sits wide open, however, and walking inside you will find that the shop is unoccupied except for a man with particularly oversized scissors walking about a woman in long black robes trimmed in silver, who is sitting in a large straight-backed chair. The woman would appear more attractive if not for the grimace on her face. The rest of the shop is overflowing with chairs set around small tables, but there are also several doors leading off from the main central room.

Knowledge Religion DC 10:
This woman is obviously part of Pharasma’s clergy; the robes are typical of Pharasma’s high-ranking followers around the time of their religious ceremonies

Upon seeing the way Vern points out his bow, Blik makes a quick bow before spinning and walking off into town.

Be sure to follow the action over to page 2 of the thread :)

Ok, with the following posts only look at the spoilers with your name on it - feel free to talk about whatever you learn with the rest of the group though

Also, most npcs your group has met have short descriptions you can learn from clicking on their pictures atm

Saw Aliben's roll as a 19 while posted with the wrong avatar

Btw, also please use ooc tags for out of character posts in this thread - but yes please tack on some writing besides just a roll

Day of Bones Game Thread, Enjoy everyone!

It is early in the morning and before you lays Carpenden a generally sleepy little village of tradesmen, surrounded by a community of farmers, hunters, and trappers. You and your companions have been traveling through rough terrain for several days after your latest series of misadventures, and the town surrounded by its rough wooden walls and some roughly three dozen, primarily wooden buildings, offers some semblance of civilization.

There are a few other people moving about outside the village if you would like to talk to any of them. (Diplomacy to gather information if you wish)

-10 for being far-fetched = 7 :P

You see Haydog, Vern, and Chilam since none of them announced that they were hiding :)

However there are two halflings hiding from you somewhere or another... nice racial bonus to stealth and all that

Vern needs to fix background and xp sections
Most people need to put current hp in about section
Haydog, Vern, and Chiliam all need to set their favored classes to their actual classes (looks like copy paste errors)
Where stats came from should be added to stats spoiler section

Welcome to the Out of Character/organizing thread! Recruitment is currently closed as of this posting, our adventurer's should currently know who they are. Please post in this thread as you work on/finish your characters.
Thanks

Information for Game Background
Description: A new campaign in a town experiencing extraordinary events. Time will play a strong element in this campaign; both as ally and foe. Without the intervention of the PCs the town will face its imminent doom from a variety of sources, but perhaps such things can be averted.

Players: Number of players 5-8 – these spots will be somewhat arbitrarily filled at the GM’s discretion – please include at least a one paragraph back-story for your character – along with brief character description.
Post Frequency: Players are expected to post at least once a day unless they post about expected short-term absence in advance. I as the GM will try to make at least two posts each day. This PbP is expected to have more role-playing encounters and less combat encounters than a typical game, but when combat does occur, I would like for you to post your expected actions 3 rounds at a time – you can make the instructions as complicated as you wish.
I will be controlling movement in-combat you can set a general preference as to where you'd like to be standing as the party adventures (front, mid-range, back)
(aka. I will attack the monster with my bow twice a round for three rounds, here are my 6 roles (for attack and damage). … unless the monster attacks me in which case I will cast mirror image; if I haven’t fallen below half hp – in which case I would rather drink a potion of cure critical wounds[roll if you like here otherwise I’ll supply the roll for you if it comes up])

Game Ground Rules
Here are a few notes about the campaign.
• You can pull material for your character from the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, and Seekers of Secrets – additional material printed by Paizo may be approved if it can be shown to the GM
• Characters should create a single multiclassed character with 2 classes. These 2 classes must have different Base attack bonuses, and one class must be 5th level and the other class must be 2nd level.
• Characters will be use a 25 point buy and the hit points will be your max hit die minus 2. So if you have 6 hit die per level you gain 4 hit points plus Con and if you have 12 hit die per level you gain 10 hit points plus con.
• If you have problems or questions about the way things are going in the campaign, do not hesitate to ask the GM about them on the OOC thread.
• Make sure to bookmark both the game thread and the OOC thread.
• Starting wealth will be 24,000 regardless of character generation method used; I recommend you spend it all in advance.
