My main concern is whether or not there will actually be enough PF2 content to keep the players in my area busy. Southwest Ohio is pretty healthy and if there are only 3 scenarios to start I think there will be a bunch of people standing around with nothing to play after the 1st month.
We have named ours the "Bejeweled Queen". Reason being was because the last AP we finished was Runelords and we were amused by the collection of "quest items" that Delavine had in the runeforge. We have two other ships presently, and the thought is to name them after the other Runeforge ingredients.
Name: Tessa
: Fun fact. Due to amazing miniature placement on my part for the final encounter, Tessa started exactly between the dragon and the BBEG. Bubble for the win?!?
I seem to have posted my response in the card game forum by mistake, so link if anyone cares Official-Gen-Con-50-Feedback-Thread#5 Anyways, a few things that were previously brought up. 1) Announcing that the coins were being changed out was oddly timed but sure, whatever. However, announcing that boons were back to being 2 coins instead of 4 after many people had turned them in already was just cruel. My suggestion is to let the coins be usable next Gen Con at the latest, but not after that. Make several announcements saying as much leading up to the event . 2) I am for GM ratings. I would love to recognize those that I feel did an excellent job, as well as those that didn't. This was an odd year as I had easily my best GM experience and my worst at a Gen Con. 3) Something should be done to make getting food for the GMs easier. The food cart that was previously out front should be brought back. Also, as stated earlier, the water distribution was kinda sketchy. At least 2 tables I was at attempted to either feed and give their own water to the GM out of sympathy. 4) Specified start times for scenarios need to be implemented. Fridays special was bad as we sat there twiddling our thumbs because the GM wasn't sure if he should start or not. This led to us not finishing the Scarab Sage quest (missed by 10 hp it seems) and not getting the boon it gave. That was quite annoying. 5) Something we (the people I went with) talked about after is perhaps the higher level tables should have shorter things to deal with. Our 7-8 table for the season ender at 1 point had to deal with a bone devil and its summoned friend. Our GM told us the lowbie tables only had to fight a lemure. Yeah... level 1 and 2 peeps are gonna blow right through 1 of those. Overall I enjoyed this Gen Con and the things Paizo presented. I just think there is always room for improvement.

I am well aware of the amount they brought. And I'm glad the demand is so high for Starfinder and that it was successful for Paizo. Still doesn't mean I'm not disappointed in missing out on getting a hard copy of the AP. I'm sure there are many, many other customers who were similarly disappointed.
Thursday: Played in the Starfinder special, which honestly wasn't very special at all. Felt more like a scenario amd no one seemed to be working together towards some goal. However, the GM we had for it (Natalie from Boston) was quite possibly the best GM I have had in the past 10 years of playing Paizo stuff. She made the scenario. Thanks Natalie! Just remember to actually eat something before drinking bourbon :D

Overall I enjoyed Gen Con and playing paizo stuff. And I didn't have to sit under the movie screen for the specials this year. Huge bonus!
1st Edition -All the time, but we were kids and played very loose with the rules 2nd Edition- Never. Had a ToEE campaign go to 15th, another to 12th, and played in several that would get to around 11 or 12 before petering out. 3.0/3.5- Same thing, most campaigns ended between 11-13th level Pathfinder- Ran Age of Worms up to 23rd level, Played in a Runelords to 15th before we were TPK'd by Karzoug, Finished Serpents Skull as a player at 16th.

Kryptonite should be the rarest thing going on this planet, but yet every villain seems to have some, and in assorted colors. Smallville especially was terrible about this. I understand the need to have it, otherwise nothing could stop the House of El, but man...
Last year my group was at Gen Con and had noticed that Core events weren't offered like they had the year before. Curious, we asked on of the PFS people and were told that Core is still a thing and the various scenarios will be run as core, but only if every player in the scenario agreed to it.
On the subject of wands and scrolls. What if they functioned at the level of the character using it? A lvl 1 wizard using a magic missle scroll would do d4+1 while a lvl 9 wizard using the same scroll would do 5d4+5.

Exactly. What gives you(1) the right to dictate to that paladin player(2) how to play the game? If people want more role-play in Society, but then turn around and tell the Goodie-twoshoes that they are ruining their fun for doing what the paladin/Pharasmite/Whatever should be doing, what exactly is being accomplished? (1) By you I mean a general you, not "you" you. I'm just borrowing the quote to play devils advocate. (2) Playing a paladin in Society is just silly unless you are ignoring everything that a paladin is (IMO)

He didn't seem to be blown away by that speed, which leads me to believe Barry is currently faster then Mach 3. Is it just me, but when KF grabs the papers off the desk, shouldn't there have been a much greater amount of wind in that area then there was? Joe at least should be tipped off by something like that, as he should be used to it.
Name: Hefe
As the party moved into temple square, they were be set upon by a group of 12 Knights. Hefe was holding down one flank and was finally overcome by the intelligence draining eyes of the knights. Once he collapsed he was Coup-de-graced the next round. He was true rezzed after the fight.
Name: Alax
The party attacked Thessalar head on, fighting him and his hydras at the same time. Thessalar dropped a Wail of the Banshee on the group, and Alax managed to roll a 1 on his save. He was True Rezzed after the fight was over.
A few observations as a player 1- Room was very chilly, even to someone like me who thinks a 65 degree hotel room is perfectly fine. Will bring a hoodie next year. 2- For the Friday special we sat directly under the screen so I had a crick in my neck Saturday morning. If there was a way to have a screen on the other side as well that be awesome. 3- The musterings were very well done this year. We've come a long way from Josh standing on top of a milk crate. 4- This was also the first Gen Con in which I had no problems with any of our GM's. That in and of itself was worth the cost of admission. 5- The Friday night boon was kinda odd, as it is basically worthless save for money for my character. I also recommend a better boon. A race or prestige class or some such. This is the first year we've done the specials since year 1, cause of how terrible the year 1 played out for us. I am very happy to see they have improved tremendously and our group plans to do them next year.
: I thought the Phoenix stuff was pretty cool, much better then X3, though that isn't saying much.)
I am hopeful that the final scene leads to the female wolverine, so we can just make Hugh Jackman go away. I've liked him in the roll, but its time to let go. Quicksilver was once again awesome, though the song playing during the scene was imo a poor choice.
Name of PC: Miku
Name of PC: Wynter
Name of PC: Cylyria
Name of PC: Aislynn
Name of PC: Hannah
The PC's appeared in Karzougs domain buffed and ready to fight, and immediatly ate a meteor swarm, dragon breath, and 2 chain lightnings before anyone had a turn. The fighter subsequently was hit with baleful polymorph, while the cleric was pulped with a crushing fist.
Kalshane wrote: I watched the first 5 episodes (I like both Jaimie Alexander and Ashley Johnson) but gave up because I just couldn't deal with Agent Scruffy McGenericHero's scowling taking up 90% of the screen time. I'm, glad I'm not the only only one who was bothered by that guy. Jaime Alexander is awesome but there is just something off about the male lead, at least to me.

Lemmy wrote: It really bothered me that Littlefinger gave Sansa to the Boltons... Not because she suffered all those atrocities (they wouldn't be any less atrocious if they had happened to the Poole girl instead), but because it makes no sense! Why would Littlefinger give "the key to the north" to the Boltons? He isn't even their ally! He had nothing to gain from it! If he expected to use her "kidnapping" as an excuse to get the knights of the Eyrie to ride, what was his plan for when she told the truth? I suppose he could try to kill her before that happens, but he's apparently infatuated with the poor girl (and hoping to use her torule the north). A friend of mine at work was trying to figure out why the Umbers would give Rickon to Ramsey and she came up with this theory. Littlefinger went there after leaving Sansa and convinced them to do so, so that he could have a 3-way attack with the John and the Wildlings and the Umbers betraying Ramsey.Would explain why the Umbers, who were always loyal to the Starks, and hated the Karstarks, would give up Rickon. Is also why he refused to swear the oath to Ramsey.
