Hey all.
I'm getting ready for my first Society meet-up, and I thought an Oradin would be a nice way to start off. However, since I like to use fairly unconventional builds, I thought a combat Oradin would be fun. This is the first non-cleric build I've used in years, so bear with me. Faction is Scarab Sages, with Ancient Historian and Eclectic traits. I only have the CRB and the APG, so please keep the advice limited to those books.
Level 1, Paladin
Str 16
Dex 10
Con 12
Int 12
Wis 12
Cha 15 (racial)
Feats: Power Attack, Weapon Focus (Heavy Flail)
At Level 10, I'm expecting something like
Paladin 5/ Oracle (Life Mystery)5
Str 16
Dex 10
Con 12
Int 13
Wis 12
Cha 16
Feats: Power Attack,Weapon Focus (Heavy Flail), Extra Lay on Hands x3, Combat Expertise, Improved Disarm
A lot of this is flavor, as he hates killing things and only really carries weapons because that's the only way to get to the really ancient secrets.
What I'm looking for is general critique, but also, what freaking Oracle curse I should use. I don't plan on ever getting the ultimate benefit, and none of the curses in the APG is really all that convincing. Let me know if there's any other info I should add in.
