Just curious cause wasn't planning on using these but if you have natural weapons you can make unarmed attacks without prompting AoOs correct?

Just curious so the dragon is above Phioneus and Creslin? Is it close enough that I couldn't load and fire my crossbow without triggering AoO or is it still 15+ ft. above us?

Creslin moves forward to the edge of the cave entrance before turning back and casting Enlarge Person on Mavin.

Would cast on Jing but out of LOS so will go with Mavin, and taking the CR for this fight since I really hope I wouldn't be on the front lines at any point.

Not seeing anyone else really step forward to address the court.

Greetings your majesties. We are currently on our way to search the old lair of Grathatonhakis for any trace of what happened to the paladin Ivvora. On our way there we came across a group of kobolds harassing a member of your court. Based on the increased activity we are assuming there are still some dragons present in the caves on the mountain and we are seeking additional aid to drive out any creatures inside the caves before we are able to explore them.

A little unsure of his footing Creslin still makes his way into the trees while calling out to the dryad.

So saying Creslin takes another look around and picks up a decent size stick/branch and throws it at the portal.

Bored and seeing the portal still open Creslin looks around for some rocks. Picking up a few off the ground he starts throwing them through the portal.

Stone: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13

Seeing that one go through he follows up with another.

Stone 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

So what are we doing now?

While waiting for the answer he throws another at the portal.

Looks at the ground and sighing.

Seeing the portal close; Creslin takes a moment to cast Light on any stone he is quickly able to find on the ground, before looking around the area.

Lets look to see if there are any clues as to how the portal opened before we go back and support the village.

Moving up next to Drin; Creslin attempts to use some of his innate understanding of magic to assist in closing the portal.

Mannak and Jing can yall keep watch while we try to close this...Going to take a lot of focus from us to complete this ritual.

Just curious if the increase in the DCs occur regardless of skill or if we can switch skills halfway through if the increase gets to be too much.

I am assuming I cant see through the brush to make an attack from there.

Since you did a single move and no one responded will use my other action to go ahead and draw my crossbow

Seeing undead starting to appear before the group and not having any response from anyone. Creslin takes a moment before casting Enlarge Person on the closest ally i.e. Jing.

Following this he continues moving up the trail to be able to see the rest of the group.

Feeling confident after seeing Mannak demolish multiple foes.

While I agree that more help would be good. I am just concerned how many more dead will have risen by the time we recruit the help versus getting there now before their numbers are too great.

Going to go against Mavin here and vote for the standing stones. Course that is assuming we have some way to heal Tiggles.

Damn thought the golem was out in the middle of the room with us for some reason.

Moving into position to look through the two giants now at the wax golem. Creslin remembers his own advice about cold not affecting him so he draws his crossbow out and watches the combat to see if he will have a shot.

Creslin moves up next to Drin before turning and casting Enlarge Person on Jing. After completing this action he turns to Drin.

No reason to waste time with our cantrips with this one. Really would only be worth spell casting if you have something related to fire.

Guess will keep track for Mannak. Cast enlarge person on him for round 4 so he is 4 of 10 rounds if I am doing the math right. Saying this cause about to enlarge either Jing or Mavin unless the group goes against it.

Thinking the two spell casters cant seem to hit a 10x10 wall much less a flying banner. He decides that the pattern should be broken here.

Also Mannak not sure what your str was prior to enlarge person but the +3 seems low for 1.5x your strength modifier for damage.

You gain 2 str, lose 2 dex and get -1 to attack rolls and AC. It lasts for 10 rounds at my current level, gives you reach/size 10 ft., and lastly your weapons are 1 category bigger so the greatsword does 3d6 and the heavy flail would do 2d8. Think it would increase your damage by and d6 and another +1 but wouldn't impact your attack roll since you gain 1 from strength to lose 1 outright.

Hmm doubt my crossbow would do anything to this piece of fabric so guess we are just going to join Drin shooting rays of frost at it.

Just staying put Creslin points a finger at the banner barking out a sharp word again.

Not sure why but it is a banner of the Shining Crusade and is acting like the crusade is still ongoing.

That works Jing and guess the only other one we could boost at all would be the Provide Knowledge since I think there are a couple of us with +7 or higher as far as that goes.

Unsure if I have LOS or not but will do move action to load and then standard to fire crossbow. If I have to move to see the dog will go with Ray of Frost.

Sadly Creslin seems a little unsure when the note from Muttonchops lands on their table.

First mission and has to be in that crazy museum that seems to have problems all the time.

After taking a breath Creslin hurries to gather the small amount of gear he has before rejoining his impromptu companions.

Don't know a lot about the museum that isn't already in the note but from what I can remember everyone comments how it is bigger inside than it would seem based on the exterior. Also, Nigel seems to have been obsessed with the new exhibit that was supposed to be on display next week about the Shining Crusade.

Creslin seems a little dazed with how fast everything is moving and doesn't really reply even when the question is directed at them and instead follows along behind the front-liners.

Well at least we seem to be well equipped to go toe to toe with anything we come across.

Seeing the dogs he draws his crossbow but not having it loaded he instead points a finger at the alpha dog while speaking a quick sharp word in Draconic. Casts Ray of Frost.

Ray of Frost, Dex, Point blank shot (TA): 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4

Not even going to roll a damage dice there, and as a quick note sorry for my delays posting my laptop is having some difficulties and haven't been able to isolate and resolve the issue.

Apparently he fumbles his crossbow while trying to draw it one handed causing his spell to fly wide of any of the dogs much less his target.

Just curious if I take a skill that I am not trained in as the bonus and consider it a class skill how does that impact knowledge checks for that skill? If I am considered trained will take the bonus on Knowledge (religion) if not will probably take the +1 on Knowledge (Local)
