Great Weapon Fighting
When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Second Wind
You have a limited well of stamina that you can draw on to protect yourself from harm. On your turn, you can use a bonus action to regain hit points equal to 1d10 + your fighter level. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.

Action Surge
Starting at 2nd Level, you can push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment. On Your Turn, you can take one additional action on top of your regular action and a possible Bonus Action.

Character Background: Survivor
In a kingdom far to the north, there once existed a small isolated Kingdom. A peaceful land surrounded by mountains and snow, it's inhabitants mostly kept to themselves. Their concerns only fell upon the mountains, as they were the home of large ferocious Wyverns. Protecting the land was the Mountain Dragoon Guard, a highly decorated militia trained specially to down the large flying monsters. They were so trusted that the King himself surrounded himself with their number as his personal guard. He treated them and the country well, and the Dragoons protected him with their lives. It was this dedication, however, that lead to their downfall. One of the Mountain Dragoons, in a bid for power, allied with a powerful kingdom who sought their land. The kingdom invaded and slaughtered the guard, razed the kingdom, and conquered the territory. Few made it out of the attack alive, and the survivors spread to the winds finding new homes. One, Creighton Revill, was a young Mountain Dragoon initiate that managed to make it out alive. Having lost any hope for his people or kingdom, Creighton travels the land searching for work killing monsters. He tries to keep a kind demeanor, but his eyes belie a dark sadness. In his heart however, he has never lost sight of his true goal. The only thing keeping him moving onward. He doesn't know how or when, but he'll find the one who betrayed them. When he does, he'll impale him on his glaive.
