You could always make them our polar opposites? I'm going to work on some characters regardless.... how many are in this elusive "2nd party?"

I believe the response was something along the lines of SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

=D

Ah, what a great world that awaits: new people, new adventures, and new quests. Together, with my new minions (even if they don’t know they are yet), we will explore this whole new world that the good Captain Monkamuck has created for us. What follows are my views of our encounters. First, however, let me introduce the supporting cast.

Kessa, the one the Captain calls Droodad[i/], is my companion from the area I grew up in. Her family would come to my village to sell their crops, and since we were both hankering for adventure, we departed together. Honestly, I can see our adventures together completely destroying whatever friendship we had. We have been dubbed the party leaders by [i]Silent Man (more on him later) and as long as we are exploring and furthering my knowledge, I’m fine with mostly agreeing with Kessa as to where we go. However, if she tries to deny my research and education, we will have issues. Kessa is very contrarian in nature. As long as the party is mostly following her, she really is fine, but if party members start taking initiative, she goes the opposite direction. I think its her way to try to retain control, especially since most of the party likes to avoid intra-party disputes. We’ll see if this ends up changing, but I doubt it. She seems to be trying her best to stay boringly normal. No desire at all and that’s just sad. You only get one go in this life (even as an elf), and you might as well make the most of it. Oh well, at least she knows she wants to stay painfully average. That’s better than most of the other party members.

Stallagar, the one known as Tin Man, seems to be not much more than a GREAT arrow catcher. However, never underestimate the power of a great meat shield. I definitely need someone up there to take hits for me so I can just stand back and pelt them with some serious magic. My only major problem with Stallagar is that he claims to be a knight but he spends a LOT of time chasing skirts and hiring ladies of the night. Part of me hopes he contracts a venereal disease and unknowingly passes it along to LOTS of women. Overall, he’s a nice guy. He’ll be an even more useful party member once he figures out what he wants to do.

Kul’rath, the one known as Kitty, is… well, he’s been given a very appropriate nickname. This particular arrow-catcher is a giant cat that walks on two legs. The puzzling thing is he seems to be following the monastery path (as noticed by his constant punching of enemies and his penchant for not necessarily catching arrows but for trying to grab them out of the air and knock them away). This individual requires more studying, but he also seems to have no real direction with what he wants from his life and from his adventures. Only time will tell, I suppose.

Silent Man is by far the most intriguing, yet the most puzzling member of our party. He didn’t really seem to do much to start with but he also seems to be coming around of late. I’m relatively impressed with his fighting style, but he doesn’t talk much. Therefore, there is really nothing to learn from him right now. However, he does seem wise enough to let me and Kessa choose the party’s path (and by that, I mean let me let Kessa think she is in control of where we go). Hopefully, he’ll open up some and allow me to learn about him, and give me a better sense of what he sees as his lot in life.

Shavenal is an interesting sort. He’s been with us a few times, but I haven’t learned much about him. He’s definitely a healer though, and there is nothing wrong with that. I need him to keep my meat shields alive so they can keep me alive.

Star Wind and Brad are the newest members of our party. Brad seems to just be following Star Wind around, but they are both curious types. Brad is a winged elf that appears to be a bard (and as such, no one really cares what his real name is, so they just started calling him Brad and it stuck) and is merely following Star Wind around. Star Wind appears to be a mix between a Celestial being and a Centaur; definitely an intriguing combination. I look forward to adventuring with him longer and learning more.

We had a couple other members of the party. Tabron and Jenis seemed to have departed us recently. I’m not sure if we’ll see them again.

Just one final note about the party: they should really learn too let me be the first to act in combat. I’m going to stop caring if they all start eating it when I drop one of my Cold Burts or Cloudkills on them and ruin their day. I’m a wizard. I blow things up. It’s what I do. I guess if they really start complaining, I’ll hit them with some energy resistances, but that will get old REAL fast.

Oh well. More to follow

Son of a penguin eater! I just spent 45-60 minutes typing a post only to have it eaten. I'm super-upset.

I'm going to develope just like a still-life movie: one frame at a time.

I'm going to develope like a roll of film: quickly and probably all wet.

I'm going to develope like a train wreck: you don't want to watch but you can't look away.

And most importantly: I'm going to develope a cold =D.

Or at least the people around me will....
