About Cor Eli Lalis
Race History - Cor Eli Lalis (Elvish for “Legendary Blue Night-Breeze) is one of the few remaining people of his species. The Vazoll race was created in the beginning of mortal creation as a test. The primal forces of creation helped the gods in the test and process of making them. The gods took 3 immortal races (Azatas & Devil’s) along with the first elves called the Leshay ever created. The test proved to be a failure in the gods’ opinion but the primal forces didn’t agree. They had made a new race so the primal forces considered it a success. Since Azatas and Devils were polar opposites, the process didn’t fuse them the way that was intended.
The Vazoll gained the Devil’s sight out to 75ft & the Leshays shape changing & detect thoughts ability. From the Azatas they gained a form of immortality. After reaching adult hood they stop ageing but unlike other immortals they can still be magically aged (just can’t die from old age).
The race takes a -2 penalty to Strength and Constitution scores because of the conflict between Azatas and Devils still resides in their bodies but they gain a +2 to Dexterity and Charisma thanks to the Leshay ancestry in their blood.
Vazoll can only have children with other immortals & it is only a 20% chance the child will be Vazoll (otherwise it is of the other race). It is said that should a Vazoll discover how to unlock their races true potential that it would be near impossible to kill them. Very few Vazoll have found out how to harness & unlock their races true potential and become Legendary. In the past 5000 years only 25 have ever accomplished the feat.
