Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin eyes dart around, "If I'm not it and none of you are it, then who's it?"

Colvin summons a Celestial Dog, "Good boy, find the thing that vexes us!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Not it!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Dark now, we make camp? Continue by day? Even for us hard to see ancient hidden ruins by night..."

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin feels alone for the first time in a ling time, with his Eidolon guiding the tribes to the Outpost he cannot call it forth yet. Still being with companions is good!

Colvin steps away form the noisiest of them to move as silently as he can through the woods. Stealth 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

He also keeps his eyes out for ancient ruins. Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin grins, "God idea". He then hisses in delight at his own stupid joke. "Jhod, it is your God, that seem a good idea?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Once the radishes are returned to the outpost Colvin turns to his companions.

"Now, let's find that Temple!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Boom powder? No boom powder at the outpost I say!!! Radishes though, let's get radishes to the outpost. Then it's time for Jhod's God!"

Alright...brace yourselves as this is gonna be weird.

Male Kobold...Barbarian (Unchained) Mad Dog 2.

Now before anyone goes off the deep end, this is hilarious and ingenious if I say so myself. First Level Weapon Finesse, Third Level Weapon Focus Kukri, Fifth Level Slashing Grace.

A Dex based barbarian Kobold (His damage won't be flipping amazing...but he'll have a Tiger to help out in the damage category till he can catch up a bit).

Thoughts...?

Sounds good to me, Colvin was not a fan of that Gun the other Kobold used anyway, too flashy and noisy!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin picks radishes throwing them into his sack hurriedly. Clearly he is worried about another creature of that type appearing nearby!

So much so he does not even partake in eating the radishes!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin's tail twitches in nervousness, "Are we sure there are no more of these creatures lurking?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

We keep losing Kobolds!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Round 1

Summoned Dire Rat

The Dire Rat charges at the beast and tries to smite it!

Smite Evil
Celestial Rat Attack 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage Bite 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Colvin

Colvin fires the bow with no poison tipped arrow at the beast.

Ranged Attack 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 3

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Opening Round

Colvin will use his Summon Monster I ability to summon a Rat and keep it nearby to attack the beast when it closes on us.

Summoning 5/6 for the day. Lasts for 1 minute not 1+1 Round a level as I thought in the earlier combats against the bandits, whoops.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin looks at Q, "Why you covering your eyes, how you gonna see it if you won't looks at it?"

Knowledge Nature 1d20 ⇒ 12

Recognition dawns on Colvin's face once he sees the carving and then Q's reaction... if it's on him it's twitching right now!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin's nose twitches, you assume in excitement based on his next statement, " Yes we go, sit idle too long already!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Agreed, well not yet anyway, maybe as we can come to trust them...

Should we head to the radish patch and then after the people come then head to find the Temple? This way we are doing something that won't take us too far from the outpost yet?

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

I think that we should head out and look for the Temple!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

DM should we wait for our peoples to arrive or just head out? :-)

The little blue mite nods firmly, "OK," and she looks around. "Where start?"

"If I remember right, Jhod God to the south, near a large Bear..."

Colvin's eyes go wide when he considers he may have to a face a bear without the spirit beside him.

"We go now or wait for people's to come first?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin returns from his Ritual and sits at Svetlana's table.

He shrugs, " The Tuskgutter? I thought we go to lost Temple?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin turns to his Eidolon and motions for it to follow, "Kel, I will prepare for The Spirit to accompany Soggy and deliver our messages to our people's that the time has come to join the longlegs.

By tomorrow we can be on move to the lost temple!"

Colvin takes his leave to prepare The Spirit via Ritualfor long distance travel away from him.

Yay, my 17,000 post!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

I will be away Friday through Sunday FYI.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"My people have expertise with many alchemical admixtures, I am sure they could find something that can be used that is safe stored inside but will cause harm when exposed to hostiles. A good idea Gufi!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin nods to Kel as the tour nears its end, "Yes it can. Shall we do now? I think we should also wait for our people to arrive before heading away..." Col looks to Q and Gufi for agreement with his proposal.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

DM:
Can an Eidolon travel that far from its Summoner and remain on the Prime? I am not sure.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Oleg's

Sense Motive 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Colvin shrugs at the soldiers comments, "Oleg, we can bring laborers here but we need someone to deliver the messages to our people's for us, know you anyone?!

I think we use allies to scout Stag Lord first once we have better knowledges of his strength we can decide what to do about him.

I think me plus Q would like to see an old temple to your God Jhod".

Colvin's begins to chuckle which sounds more like high pitched squealing than a laugh, "Jhod's God!"

Colvin's ears twitch involuntarily, "Kel and Gufi you think this is good idea too right? We get peoples here and settled then we go!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

So (1) bring the "monsters" to Oleg's and (2) seek out the lost temple.

Maybe we can send an NPC to scout the Stag Lord's defenses?

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin turns to his new friends. "I think we should leave our new longlegs here to make repairs and defend this fort while we investigate this Staglord. Wait here for him to attack does not seem best to me!

A good idea Kel to get our own people's here, if we fight for this land and our tribes belong to it longlegs must see more of us to become more accepting of us!

That is unless some of you think we should uncover this Temple to the longlegs God first..."

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin considers the arrival of these new longlegs, "We have discovered that the gravest threat to this new charter is the presence of a human that calls himself the Stag Lord, any of you know anything of him?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin looks at his companions, "Any of you know this place? I know it not". The Ratfolk looks nervous but then he is always a bit twitchy.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Despite the smells the Ratfolk is late to rise. He prays to his God for power and wisdom through the rest of the day and checks for all of his belongings before bringing himself down to the kitchen.

"A wonderful smells!" Colvin heads to the table eyeing the dirty man a bit suspiciously.

"You be a trapper out here in these wilds? What do you know of the Stag Lord?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Agreed will update tomorrow....

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Yes rest!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin pulls out the amulet he founds, "These bandits serve that Stag Lord I think, this one I found on one of the dead bandits".

Colvin turns to his companions, "Shall we rest and then plan for what to do next? Trade goods and bartering are all well and good but if these foes serve another master I think our battle has just started, right?!" His nose titches with anticipation but it is obvious the excitement of the day has worn the Ratfolk down a bit.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

GM:
Didn't I get a Stag Lord Amulet in the first fight? That wasn't the Amulet of THE Stag Lord was it or we cannot be sure yet?

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin looks up from his pie, "The Rats wil agree, I am sure that Master Splinter would see the Wisdom in this. After pie we will take stock of what we have reclaimed and then we will barter. Tell me Oleg, besides these Bandits, which I think we have mostly broken what other threats plague you here?"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin pulls his hand out of a pie and into his pocket, he hands the sticky ring over to Oleg.

"Good faith have we by handing this back to you.

Kel is right we paid in blood for our victory over the bandit. We will trade fair for what we find in horses for livestock to feed our peoples".

Colvin runs down the list of what they found after all of the bandits were defeated to see what was robbed from Oleg and what truly belonged to the Bandits.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

I will be unavailable the rest of the day and weekend and likely posting again at some point on Monday, please Bot me as necessary. Thanks.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin banishes his Eidolon to the nether planes to rest and recuperate.

"Gufi, pies are delicious I have stolen, er... borrowed, um er... smelled many pies in the past made from, eh um er... by.. humans!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin stands straight, "My people will honor the Charters as well. I and my friends have already proven we can defend the Lands by defeating the Bandits. Oleg, we are you best hope".

Colvin looks at his Mite and Goblin companion gesturing for them to say something as well.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin sighs, "I fear that is what we are here for..."

Colvin waves his allies, the new heroes forward.

"Your human heroes and your friends have been slain by the brigands! We, I think, got most of 'em but there still could be some out there. We found many many trade goods, horses, and a ring and most important, Charters".

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

I moved forward, with a Charisma of 18 and a Trait for re-rolling Diplomacy checks Colvin would be the best "face".

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Don't worry friends, Mastre Splinter teach me quite well to speak with humans! I can do all talking you all do watching, we need to be on guard until we know we can trust these longlegs!" Colvin appears excited and nervous at the same time.

Colvin rides up to the gate on his Eidolon, "Greetings, we four", Colvin will now and gesture back to his companions in the distance, "must meet with Oleg on some matters of great importance. You be Oleg yes yes?" Colvin asks. His Eidolon senses Colvin's nervousness and his tail too begins to twitch.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin shrugs. "Horse meat is good but ok we can sell 'em! What about other loot?"

As the group begins to make the journey Colvin's tail starts to twitch and he gets nervous his nose twitching as well, "We should be on guard as we approach what if these bandits have friends at Oleg's?!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Colvin finds the ring in a bandit pocket, "I wonder who this ring belonged to?" He shows it to the group seemingly enchanted by its shininess.

"I think we have achieved significant victory and avenged our fallen long legs!"

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin will cast Rejuvinate Eidolon before the attack commences. RE [dicd]1d8+1[/dice]

Surprise Attack

Colvin grins at Gufi in the dark whispering, [smaller]"A good plan".[/smaller

He then casts Daze at one of the Bandits.

Will save DC 13.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin nods to Gufi, "OK, let's do it. I still have most of my spell powers available but I will not be able to summon the spirit of my in as I did before".

Colvin mounts his Eidolon, "Lead the way my Goblin friend!".
