Claire doesn't remember her human family. Claire's first memory is of the three dryad sisters that lead the Relebhean Druid Circle who claimed her as their daughter. She was raised and trained by her mothers and the other druids of the circle. Over the years she became very close to one and developed feeling for one of other member of the circle, an elf named Firetail Haralial.
About a month ago everything changed. Claire and Firetail often went out on nature walks, and on this day they stopped on a hilltop overlooking the camp for an afternoon nap in the sun on a nature walk. Claire fell asleep first but was plagued by bad dreams. When she woke up Firetail was gone and pillars of smoke were rising from the camp. She never ran faster.
The next week was a blur to Claire, a mix of grieving, crying, and attending to her dead family. During the process she found what was going to be a gift from her dryad mothers, a wooden rose flower made from their host trees that had been scorched and partially burned as well as several strange emblems on all of the invader's uniforms, which is her only clue to the identity of the people who destroyed her family.
After gathering all of her possessions and steeling her will, Claire left the ruins of the camp and headed for the nearest town, her rose figurine around her neck, looking for any information she can find about the people who took her family from her and where Firetail is, because their body was not amung the dead at the camp.

-Claire is quiet, a little shy, and a bit naive because of her life of seclusion within her druid circle and her less than stellar social skills.
-Claire is kind, caring, and compassionate when it comes to others, if she gets close to someone she becomes very passionate about there well-being and success.
-Clarie is extremely protective of her burnt and scorched rose figurine, since it's the last connection she has to her family and it functions as a tenuous chennel of the natural energy of her forest home, which is calming for her.
-Clarie is oblivious to her own deep hatred and desire for revenge against the people who killed her family.
