I know the software industry is notorious for delays, but if it's at all possible to have the release date before March 15th, I will definitely spend my no-rush credits from all my Christmas shopping on a premium episode!
Based on where they are right now, you should definitely see the first premium episode in February. Exact date in February is still TBD.

Huzzah! I'll be sure to pick this up!

For people who signed up for the beta, do you know how that process will work yet?

Hey Tamago!

I'm actually working on the beta organization as we speak, I'm hoping to start on-boarding folks over the next two weeks!

Hello fellow members of the Paizo community!

I have been collecting suggestions and features in an ad-hoc manner from forum posts, but now I'm making it even easier to submit an idea.

Starfinder on Alexa Feature Vote

You can submit ideas, upvote on other's ideas, then we (the development team) can let you know what we've prioritized.

Thank you for the feedback thus far, it's been AWESOME seeing the reaction and engagement.

Alas. I'm not a technomancer. The link above doesn't work. The url is below.

So some initial feedback, playing on an Echo Show is that it made minimal use of the screen. I only got through shopping, but I had expected that there would be pictures showing locations, species, equipment, etc to make it a multi-media experience. The voice acting was well done, but I was hoping there'd be at least images as I mentioned. It would also be cool to have a map you could call up, once you started exploring, showing only the locations you've been to.

Thanks for the feedback!

We initially hired Skittermanders to do the visuals...that's a mistake I won't make again. So, new, non-fingerpainted visuals are on the way! I'll let you know when to expect them, when I know more.

… you are gonna release that concept art, right? Right?

It's pretty bad. Just...you didn't get it from me.

At launch, just say "Alexa, play Starfinder!" on any Alexa-enabled device.

You might want to change this to "Alexa, open Starfinder!" The word "play" seems prompt music searches instead, and it took a while to sort out.

(It would also be helpful to have "describe" work like "tell me about" in the app.)

We can take a look at that! So, you'd want to able to say "describe laser pistol" or something like that?

I don't have an echo device. Can I download the amazon Alexa app to my phone and play this?

You can play this on your phone using the Alexa app, although it can be sensitive to your cell phone signal and/or wifi.
