Male Human Slayer 2

I iz ded

Male Human Slayer 2

"Forgive me Ana, you looked peaceful." I softly spoke as I layer myself down by the fire.

Male Human Slayer 2

It's starting to get busy for me too with holidays coming up, won't be able to post daily but I will try .

Male Human Slayer 2

DM:
I continue to carefully meditate while keeping my senses around me.
"Perhaps I should focus on my skills in melee." I thought to myself, wondering how to become stronger.

Male Human Slayer 2

"Rest Ryker, get some sleep Lily. Elysriel and I shall take watch in case the terrors outside intrude." I turned to Elysriel and nodded to her.

Male Human Slayer 2

My character and Elysriel did mention in a few psosts that we were both taking a night shift

Male Human Slayer 2

I turned to Elysriel. "Such a sorrow tale you have, may Ra's light shine and protect you." But was a prayer enough? Either way I couldn't help but think of what to do next."It definately seems that we were destined to unite, the four of us. But perhaps there are others who could not make it to our congregation, or perhaps they are still out there..." I pondered the thought for a bit more, staring into the nothingness that was the black shadows of the outside window.

Male Human Slayer 2

such post elysriel
much wow

Male Human Slayer 2

" Forgive my behavior just then..." I said with a great burden behind my voice. Perhaps this was the best time to explain myself. " I come from a small village known as Shira hidden in the sands of the great desert in a not too far off land. The people are poor and thirsty, we have been living in a 20 year drought. Many.... many have died of thirst, hunger, and illness, including my sister... I couldn't bear to watch anyone else suffer so I headed for the ancient temples and pyramids that lies dormant and untouched buried below Shira. Our people would tell their children stories of kings who would wear gold and platinum like linen and wool, stories of wealth beyond our wildest dreams. Wealth that my people needed. As I searched deep inside the temple of Ra, Ancient God of the sun, dodging traps and jumping various pits and chasms, I came across a sword. I drew my sword. It was lying upon a pedestal in an empty chamber. As soon as I touched the hilt of the sword a burning light shined upon me, and all of the knowledges and secrets of the desert rushed in my mind, changing me. I no longer felt human but instead one with the sands. Then a whisper came to me. Go to the west, there you will find salvation for your people I didn't know whom it came from but I wasted no time, I returned to Shira and gave them the other treasures that I found and told them to seek them and that I would be leaving for awhile to seek answers.

Male Human Slayer 2

I collected my firm and apologized. "Forgive me, I was just praying to my god and.. well I thought I was seeing his image." But what was this flame?
Knowledges on the flame?

Male Human Slayer 2

I'm in, just having writer's block lately, my posts haven't been very fleshed out

Male Human Slayer 2

Will: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
I dropped my sword in surprise and began to lose composure. I did not know if this were a trick of not, but the thought that I was seeing him, made my eyes water and my heart swell with courage and anxiety.

Male Human Slayer 2

I took this moment of peace and drew my blade and held it at the end of the hilt, leaning the blade against the floor. I closed my eyes and whispered to Ra "Oh mighty Ra, does this place hold safe shelter for us this night?'
Augry
Augry: 1d100 ⇒ 9

Male Human Slayer 2

"Some company would be nice. "

Male Human Slayer 2

INT: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21
What madness had come upon this land? I thought to myself, keeping my guard as I feared for not just my own life, but for everyone I cared about, my people, my family, and my new friends.
I turned towards Ryker. "Rest my friend, I shall stay on night duty for a few hours." I said, hoping that no beasts or demons slay us in the night. I collected my thoughts as I keeled down besides the fire, warming my hands and preparing for the worst. "Ryker... your words you said about teamwork...you are right. We need to come up with a solid battle strategy." Something I thought I would never consider before. But ever since I laid my hands upon the sword of Ra my mind had opened up to the knowledge of the past, including battles and tactics."I know that my skills for the time being are much more useful in the front lines."

DM:
Forgive me but I lost my current HP

Male Human Slayer 2

My best wishes for her health man. Also a good time to apologize for my short and spaced out posts. Had com puter trouble, then internet trouble, then other things, should be posting more frequently now.

Male Human Slayer 2

I looked at the man, wondering if he would lead us into a trap or be a powerful ally. Regaurdless I followed him, keeping my eye on him for any shifty moves.

Male Human Slayer 2

Guess whos lawful good now guys? lol

Male Human Slayer 2

That's not a huge deal for me I was worshiping a sun god anyhow just need to tweak my alignment a step, (a step my character was leaning to anyway)

Male Human Slayer 2

As Ryker's words spoke true into my soul, I knew that he was right. Everyone needed to work together if we were going to survive.
"Ryker I think we should heal the man. If he can walk then we can hopefully find shelter before we encounter any other dangers."

Male Human Slayer 2

Who was this mystery man? I pondered to myself. Wondering whether or not we should trust helping a stranger, yet I knew that it was the right thing to do. But I did know that our surroundings were dark. I unsheathed my longsword and layed my hands upon it. A light shined out of my hand and upon the sword's blade. The blade then began to glow as bright as a small sun.
I cast light spell-like on chosen sword

Male Human Slayer 2

DM:
I have a STR score of 13 and all I am carrying is my sword, bow, quiver, and waterskin. I'm not sure what my drag weight wouldbe.

"I apologize Elysriel, I can be a bit too humble sometimes. In my homeland being generous is a rare thing." I said before turning my attention to Ryker.
"Perhaps you could assist me in carrying this man? I sometimes forget my own limits when I'm in my normal form. I would use my ability to transform once more but it would be short lived."

Male Human Slayer 2

"Ryker you are too kind! I'll be ok!" I said hiding the fact that I was badly wounded.
Bluff: 1d20 - 1 + 6 ⇒ (2) - 1 + 6 = 7
But my words were short of breath and my legs were barely able to lift my body. It was easy to tell that I was at a near critical condition.

As the light from the magical wand surrounded me, I started to feel better. My wounds seemed to close. I was better, yet still in a pretty bad shape, but still able to fight by my friends. Thank you Ryker!

"I can carry him until we head to someplace safe. There could be more of these things. Or worse... " I went over to lift the man in cloaks.

Knowledge Geography: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25

DM:
Trying to know if there are any safer locations in the area. (i.e. a small cave or clear hill)

Male Human Slayer 2

"Agreed" I said firmly as I helped Ryker stand on his legs, arm over shoulder. "Ana were you harmed at all?"

Male Human Slayer 2

I wiped and sheathed my sword as my body started to return to its original form. I quickly hurried to Ryker to see his condition. "Are you alright friend?"
I looked over to my allies and to our slain opponents. "Good job everyone!" I boasted glad to see that no one had fallen to these strange creatures.

Male Human Slayer 2

With a craggy voice I spoke out "Let's kill this beast!"
Like a mole I swiftly moved into the Earth with grace. I reapearred right behind the giant sasquatch and striked true with my blade, gripping the sword with both hands for a mighty swing.
Burrowing behind for a flanking position

Anything worth knowing from my tremorsense? Also I'm back guys!
I called out to the group, "Everyone! I hear a shallow breathing, the is someone or something else nearby!"
I stood up and focused my powers of the desert. My aura of sand quickly swirled around me as my body began to condense and shrink to about 4 feet tall, yet my muscles made up the difference, bulging out and turning into a craggy, sand stone. My body now unrecognizable, I looked like a monster and I was ready for the enemy this time!
Small elemental Form

Male Human Slayer 2

Whoops DM informed me of my error, I thought those provokes were on me.Also I keep forgetting about my DR/5. my current HP is 13. I understand that kind of makes a mess of the situation, I am still willing to be prone although I shouldn't be considering that I would not be knocked unconscious to help prevent us from going backwards a few turns.
Let's Do The Time Warp AGAIN!
Seeing the enemy before me I let go my grip on my bow and drew my blade. Still lying down and on my back, I swung my sword at the beast's ankles with full force.
1d100 ⇒ 89
Power Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Male Human Slayer 2

DEAD

Male Human Slayer 2

Silly me
I stood up and thanked my friend Ryker "Thank you Prince Ryker, Thank you so much!"
I dropped my bow and took a few steps back away from the enemy.
5ft away south. also can there be a marker on the map placed on the yeti im studying?

Male Human Slayer 2

Did my knowledge check of 35 give me anything?

Male Human Slayer 2

As the world around me grew dim and I lost consciousness, I turned to Ryker and reached my hand out to him.
Stabilize: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18

Male Human Slayer 2

Knowledge: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
I took a breath to watch my ememy, how it moved, how it's shadowy form swayed to and fro. I drew my bow once more and fired another arrow.
Studying the same shadow

1d100 ⇒ 44
Bow: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Arrow: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
As the blood gushed out from my wound I spit in frustration
"What are these things?!"
knowledge check?

Male Human Slayer 2

Drawing my bow I calmly waited for the enemy to move into a position for me to shoot them down.
Ready action to shoot as soon as one becomes out of cover.

Male Human Slayer 2

Initiative: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23
I am to assume that I have time for my character inform the party of the movement that I sensed up ahead.

Sensing danger ahead I called out. "I sense movement all around us, perhaps we are being ambushed!!"

Male Human Slayer 2

DM:
I am to assume that the presence I felt was the cloaked figure?

As I saw the man draw near towards me and my allies I quickly stood firm in preparations to attack, but his demeanor did not seem threatening, at least for the time being. I took his words with a grain of salt and proceeded to ask my fellow travelers. "Do any of you know who that man was? What a strange event that had just transpired. But perhaps we will encounter stranger and more hostile. Let us be wary and make due haste."

Male Human Slayer 2

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
I continued to follow Prince Ryker, for some reason the man's charm latched unto me chain. Wherever this man went, I would follow. Perhaps by helping solve these mysteries I could obtain the power necessary to help my people.

Male Human Slayer 2

"The man just turned into fog and escaped!"
Never in my life have a witnessed such magic. I continued to chase after him into the rain. Even though I could no longer see him ran in the general direction he flew off to.

Male Human Slayer 2

I made haste and called out to the guards. "Guards! The prisoner is escaping!"
I quickly ran up the stairs to follow the now misted man.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Male Human Slayer 2

"What purpose do they serve dead in the streets! And who are you speaking of?"
I shouted at the man fiercely. Frustrated at the man I gathered my thoughts and lifted my blade in front of me. And meditated on the powers that Ra had given me.
I use my augry ability to determine if this man really is the killer. Augry: 1d100 ⇒ 89

Male Human Slayer 2

Slightly irrate, I began to mutter towards Lily. "What a daft mad man. Perhaps he is just an innocent loon."
I asked the man,"Why are you lying? I know that it was not you who killed that woman the other night.
Something seemed so off about all of this.

Male Human Slayer 2

Is there anything I can see with my tremorsense
As I entered the chamber I scanned the room intensively

Male Human Slayer 2

To collect myself,I decided to waste no time and enter the cell where the man who confessed was being held.
"Thank you for the hospitality!" I said to the mayor bowing my head in respect just before leaving.

Male Human Slayer 2

I couldn't help but gaze outside the window, while everyone was discussing and eating and relaxing, I couldn't help but feel ashamed that in my lands we would have a festival in the rain to celebrate Gozreh's blessings. But alas, there had not been rainfall on our sands in over a decade. And as the rain fell down onto the ground, so did my tears. "Forgive me, but I must step outside for a moment."
I quickly rushed out the door. lifting my head up to feel every drop on my face. I removed my shroud from my face and took in the rain. I then instinctively took out my waterskin and drank it and filled it back up with the fresh rainwater. I collected myself, put back the cloth over my face and soon headed back inside.

Male Human Slayer 2

I stood from my chair and said to the mayor, "Sir, if it would be alright I would like to patrol the slums once more. Perhaps there were more clues to be found, or perhaps... Excuse me for seeming delusional but, that night we slayed the killer I noticed something strange. There was some other presence by the murderer's side. It was invisible to the naked eye, but with my gift I could sense it. It was small whatever it was. We live in strange times and bizare and magical events have unfolded before us. Perhaps there is more than one killer."

Male Human Slayer 2

"Don't take it personal my firend, just that you are more affection than most people are used to in these times we live in." I spoke to the young prince as I walked with him towards the office.
"But it is comforting to have such affection."

As I began to Cautiosly scan the woman that stood before me, I cocked my head to the side in a laid back posture and greeted the woman. "Greetings...I am Casimir of Goza village. I see you have met my friend here Ryker."I glanced over to him nodding. "He may come off a bit odd, but he means well. This man's mere presence can inspire greatness!" I turned over to the prince, my posture shifted to a more firm and serious one."Have you seen our feathered friend anywhere? I figured he was with you?"

Lily:
The man standing before could not be older than 25, you could see it in his tone and spry behavior. The air around him seemed dusty. He wore a thin linen scarf around his neck and covering his mouth above the nose, perhaps from cover during sandstorms as he appeared to be from the desert sands far away. He carried a ornate blade sheathed on his right side. The decorations on the sheath appeared ancient in lettering man had not read in centuries. He also had a bow and a quiver on his back. He shifts his eyes at your tome in curiosity.

Male Human Slayer 2

DM:
I spoke to the mayor about the incident of which transpired that night. "My allies and I were tracking down that killer for you. We found the man and cut him down. That boy in the cell is an impostor of sorts. Or perhaps some sort of distraction. I would make great caution, sir." and with those words and made my way back towards the Inn.
