I see September here, but I saw July somewhere else in the forums (sorry for the lack of link, I got lost amongst so much text) I was just hoping I could get an "official" date. Also, for those of us buying the core rulebook from another source (amazon.com, as I have gift cards there, and it's the only way I can afford the books now, besides, the money gets back to Most Glorious Paizo) will said sources be shipping out the items at the same time the Paizo warehouses do, or will there be a delay? I guess I'm asking if 3rd party suppliers will be getting copies in advance, so everyone releases at once? Sorry for the rambling, it's late and I'm excited to get my greedy hands on the Pathfinder RPG.
Hey, another friend of mine got the time off to attend the convention, but doesn't have a credit/debit card at the moment, so I bought another ticket on my account, with the intent to send it to his account. But when I got to My Downloads, it shows the two tickets I purchased before (for me and my girlfriend) and below that it shows the new ticket I just bought, but no space to enter my friends email. Is it because I bought one ticket this time? Anyway, can someone help me please? Thank you!
Thank you! I'll get out my pathfinder campaign book and players handbook this weekend and roll up a character. My girlfriend, our friend and I are hoping to get into games together, as none of us have pfs characters yet. I'm sure alot of people are trying to get into games with their friends/SO though.
Do I need to make a PFS character BEFORE registering for an event, or can I wait and make one after-wards depending on what I sign up for? I don't have one yet as there aren't any PFS events anywhere near where I live, and I can't really afford to go to conventions (besides this one, because I love Paizo so much) I'd like to make one or two characters and just play with them all weekend, but as I've never been to a convention, I don't really know how this works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Hey, does anyone know where the townhouse lofts are in the hotel? Like, are there any lofts in the Paizo block? I'm thinking about reserving one but I don't want to get there and find myself on the other end of the hotel. Also, anyone know if there's still a few left? If I end up getting one, I'm totally down to hosting some night-time role-playing if anyone wants to DM. I'll be there from thursday sometime to monday morning. Sunday evening seems pretty dead since events wrap up at 5 (I think) and it sounds like a lot of people might be heading home then. So one last night of beer drinking and role-playing?

That's a great idea...If you could manage that, I would be eternally grateful. In fact, I'd buy you dinner... Plus, that's massive incentive for people who haven't bought a badge yet to get on board...
As I mentioned before, I've never been to a convention, so I'm not sure what to expect. I was wondering how much of it is going to be roleplaying pathfinder games vs like games of Kill Doctor Lucky, etc? I'm sure I'm going to feel stupid when the answer rolls in, but I'm just trying to get a feel of what to expect. I've only been roleplaying for a year, and the Pathfinder adventure path is absolutely mind-blowing. I'm hoping to spend 3 days just roleplaying with other paizo fans, while buying some awesome merchandise. I just wish the core rulebook would be released then so I could have one signed by all the talented people who bring my life so much joy!
My girlfriend and I have only been gaming for just over a year now, and the list of games under our belts is pretty short. We decided to attend Paizo-con as our "one year gaming anniversary". I've never been to a convention and am pretty nervous. I know to bring sanitary supplies, snacks, waters, comfy shoes, papers, pencils, dice, etc, but what about books? I only own D&D 3.5 and 4th ed books, and don't know many other games. I'm hoping to sign up for plenty of games to expand my repertoire. And do I bring my own characters, based on the games I signed up for, or are premade characters available? And a few extra for open games? Sorry about all the "noob" questions, but I'm shelling out alot of money to make this trip and I want to make sure I'm completely prepared. I'd love to join PFS, but there's no games within 50 miles of where I live : ( Any more tips that haven't already been posted here would be greatly appreciated. I'm nervous as all hell, but looking forward to a few days of awesome gaming and meeting the people who makes the great pathfinder games. |
