Description

Canisen is tall, slender, and athletic but not brawny Adult Taldan man. He has twitch reflexes and comfortable on his feet. Like most Taldans, he has dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and bronze colored skin. He is wearing a well laundered soldier's outfit with holy symbol of Pharasma patches on his shoulders, a well-oiled leather backpack along with a quiver of arrows, a personal wooden holy symbol of Pharasma around his neck, a small mace on his belt, and is carrying a bow in his hands.

Background
--------------------
Five background and concept elements important to Canisen Redadel;
1. Canisen was born in Absalom to a single mother. He never knew his father because he died in a freak wagon traffic accident just before he was born. Other than a physically absent father, Canisen lived a modest life because his mother was a seamstress and was able to make a good middle class wage.
2. He was 18 years when something horrifying happened to his mother by "unchecked" undead and joins The Voices of the Spire division of the Absalom Temple, a militant sect of the religion, to rid the city of undead (and other enemies of the Temple) and to avenge his mother's terrible and untimely death.
3. Voices of the Spire training was tough but Canisen graduated especially after the Head of The Voices of the Spire Absalom Contingent became a father figure to Canisen. (Trait: Corpse Hunter)
4. Thus far, it appears that Canisen is in just enough of Pharasma's favor to have better luck than most other people. However, his fate is still unfolding and mostly unwritten. He should be fine as long as he keeps purging undead and does not become reckless in doing so for the boundaries of luck and fate are not known by most except for maybe Desna and her clergy (Trait: Fate's Favored).
5. The Voices of the Spire has sent him on his first investigation quest of undead eradication which has led him to the current events and meeting up with the party of fellow agents.

Two goals that are important to Canisen Redadel;
1. Rid the city of Absalom of all of its enemies, especially the abysmal undead, and perhaps more depending on his interactions with more foes?
2. Appeasing the clergy and congregation of the Absalom Temple of Pharasma, especially the Goddess herself, receiving the benefits of those actions especially if it is time for Canisen to be judged by Pharasma.

Two secrets about Canisen Redadel, one that he knows, and one that he not yet aware of;
1. Canisen knows how to gain access to city's graveyard and burial areas through the church and other channels,
2. Canisen does not yet know who the undead that killed his mother nor what type it was.

Four people that are tied to Canisen Redadel, three are friends and one is an enemy;
1. Marus Galvianus, Taldan priest in charge of the Absalom Contingent of The Voices of the Spire. He is the father that Canisen never had.
2. Reserved for a player character - Work this out depending on the campaign chosen.
3. Jillia Redadel, deceased mother, who is now a Ghost but she is tied to one location and Canisen will have to either go to that location or come upon it by chance. Canisen's mother accidentally killed herself because she was in extreme terror so her soul remains intact. Currently, Canisen is unaware of his mother's state of undeath.
4. Enemy - The undead who is responsible for his mother death which has fueled Canisen's strong hate for all of the "abysmal" undead.

Three memories, mannerisms or quirks Canisen Redadel possesses;
1. Observing his deceased mother lying in her blood with a visage of terror which is forever imprinted in his mind.
2. Unlike a good number of inquisitors, Canisen dresses and conducts himself more like a Religious Shire-reeve (Sheriff) or Constable on Patrol (Cop) than a Mysterious Inquisitor or Cleric. Perhaps even more incognito than those inquisitors who do?
3. When Canisen comes across any undead, it has to be angrily and vocally dispatched but this does not mean he is reckless about it. Being reckless around undead is asking to either join their ranks, ceasing to exist by giving the undead your soul as a meal, or an untimely normal permanent death.
