I am currently playing a lvl 7 Inquisitor and ran into a bit of a question regarding the use of and timing of judgements. An inquisitor has a judgement running at the beginning of of the round to resist fire, they move out of the fire, take AOO, complete their movement and then switch their judgement to Healing. When does the healing take effect, on the round it was activated or at the beginning of the next round?

Ultimate Races

Create some geographic, socio political, economic, religious racial sub types.

Slight racial changes, adding and removing of skills and bonuses to help build that better back story. Help build the more rounded character.

Not all humans are from the same area but they all get the same skills.

Some elves come from "darker" places

The mountain ranges, forests and wetland areas vary dramatically. So should races.

To elaborate on the "not looking into the future" for planning....

You could have the Paladin destroy an enemy's only route of escape, while at the same time trapping the party due to lack of planning/understanding of bigger picture. In a suprise round he could accidentally grab another character's weapon because it was more readily available, thus preventing him from acting as he normally would and well as inhibiting the other character.

In ref to the Paladin being able to fight because of training....

He may have had training and should be able to use techniques but that does not mean the he will know when to switch tactics. He could be easily distracted during battle and not remember what he was taught. There is a big difference between knowing something and using that knowledge.

Both could be detrimental to a party and should only be used with an understanding group of players. I frequently play in a Monster or Smash game where building a character with a stat drained can be fun.

115. Give the BBEG a Dr. Jekle/Mr. Hyde complex. By day he is a priest/cleric and by evening he is a necro who uses the freshly provided bodies of the priest/cleric to grow his army. The PC's choose to work with or hunt whomever they want. The PC has a chimera/shapeshifter base that provides enough difference between to 2 personalities to not be found out while making it impossible for the PC's to accertain from intense perception.

I am a huge fan of ranged characters. I enjoy building them and make them as diverse as possible. One feat that we have created is Ranged Skirmish and Improved Ranged Skirmish.

Ranged Skirmish allows me to apply skirmish damage from 30ft out.

Improved Ranged Skirmish extends that to 45ft.

When used in conjuction with Shot on the Run and a base movement of 40ft, 50ft soon, it allows me to move around the battlefield while still being effective. I can provide support and flanking and still get full use of my bow.

This also makes sure that I am not standing far out of range and thus included in the action. I get the added damage at the risk of being closer to the fight and thus a target of their rangers or spell casters.

This should be looked at to be included because they can be valuable tools when used correctly. They cost alot of prerequisites to get to, but are well worth it in battle.
