During the concert, Diwata discovers she has an extra datastream coming in. It is not only of higher quality than the conference bot she rented, but the viewpoint is from the stage!
BOB stands passive through the announcements. When the spotlights come on, he once again starts twirling his pike and spinning in a circle.
He spins so fast that the glow from the pike is a blur. BOB suddenly stops right on the mark, pike out straight in front of it pointing towards the crowd.
BOB moves to flank with Buster and then tries to hit the thing!
BOB rights itself.
BOB moves across the stage into a position where someone should be able to provide flanking,
Then BOB tries to strike the virus with the glowing pike!
BOB lifts and twirls his pike, the glow making a circle around it.
BOB moves out on stage, their pike extended as they whirl around in a circle. Coming to a sudden stop, pike moved to an upright position, it then shouts “”
“” It then holds out the pike and asks “Any way to make this look like a big glow stick?”
BOB unleashes on the other robot.
BOB stays where it is and swings the pike twice at the opposing robot. “Fall down!” BOB tells the other robot.
As the robot extends the tactical arc emitter, BOB swings the pike at it.
BOB moves up and into the room, positioning themselves between the robot and Lanzio. Their weapon lacks that pleasant hum it had before,
BOB just sits there as the Hesper uses it as a mirror.
BOB moves up to them, making sure that the camera image is clear. “Why is it a pity I’m not alive?”
Looking directly at Mikkazuki, the robot says “I hate you!”
The robot takes out the tactical pike it is carrying and sets the fusion to non-lethal. The weapon starts humming a pleasant tune that blends with the music in the area. The robot then puts the weapon away again.
Mikkazuki is ready.
BOB twirls the pike around to strike again in a wide circular motion. “You dented me. Time to cleave you!”
Looks impressive, but it really wasn’t effective.
BOB moves over to a position where it can interfere with anyone going through the airlock, drawing its tactical pike as it goes.
BOB pulls out its pike as it moves towards the airlock.
As Antoine and Charli are making their presentation, BOB moves to the front.
BOB’s speakers start playing the audio, using the time marks Antoine provides for which selections to play.
BOB continues its relentless march across the chamber.
It seems that self-preservation is something Mikkazuki left out of BOB’s AI.
BOB moves forward as fast as it can.
BOB moves forward as far as it can, holding the pike out in front of itself.
What’s wrong, flipper? Are you scarred? To tell the tooth, we always figured you were rotten!
Bucket of Bolts looks over to Mikkazuki and says "I hate you!" just before it moves up next to the black snake, provoking an attack. It then strikes at it with the tactical pike.
Bucket of Bolts moves along the bottom slowly and the readies to attack if Black come in reach.
"A crowbar would scratch my paint!"
Seemingly forgotten, the robot takes up position near the door.
The robot takes up position directly in front of the door, waiting with pike at the ready.
Turning towards Mikkazuki, the volunteered robot says “I hate you!” as it gets out the pike it carries.
Slowly panning the room, BOB captures an image. It gets the requested closeup of the portrait. Lacking anything of substance to do, it then proceeds to get a closeup of the walrus in the room.
The drone had quietly been following along behind Mikkazuki, almost as if it was forgotten. As Mikka is tapping her wristcomp, some speakers fold out from the sides of the drone. You hear BOB state "Please, not continuous play!" Then the speakers engage and start playing the latest Strawberry Machine Cake album,
The drone shifts it’s position slightly so the plate doesn’t spill off it. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to have any appendages with which to steady the plate. The robot looks like it has seen the wrong end of almost every type of weapon. Although it is intact, there does not appear to be any surface on it that isn't dented, scortched, or patched. The fresh coat of lightning blue paint just makes the previous damage stand out more. The robot has tactical pike sticking out of a sheath built into it’s back. There are arms on the robot, but they lack any fine manipulators. It is clear they were only designed to allow the robot to utilize the pike.
Following Mikkazuki is a robot that looks like it has seen the wrong end of almost every type of weapon. "She volunteers. I get volunteered."
"It doesn't work nearly as well for me!"
"You mean you aren't assigned to the firing range? That is where I would be assigned by Mikkazuki! She is always looking for new ways to damage me."
"All your fa...buzzt! grind!" BOB says as it is hit by the pulsecaster. Then it tips over.
BOB surges forward, running at full speed for Blue while waving it's assault hammer. Unfortunately, it's damage has made it somewhat unstable.
BOB has a huge hole in it’s armor where the creature hit it once. As it was hit, it calls out “This is all your fault, Mikkazuki!” Still, it swings again with it’s hammer at the creature.
BOB moves up to the beast and swings with the assault hammer.
BOB lifts his assault hammer high, and then brings it back into fighting position.
It should be blue!
The robot’s head turns to Mikkazuki and says “I hate you!” as it readies it’s assault hammer. |
