Once per round when your mount is hit in combat, you may attempt a Ride check (as an immediate action) to negate the hit.

Skilled Rider (Ex):
At 1st level, a dragoon gains both the Mounted Combat and Skill Focus (Ride) feats as bonus feats. This ability replaces the 1st-level fighter bonus combat feat.

Bonus feat
At 2nd level, and at every even level thereafter, a fighter gains a bonus feat in addition to those gained from normal advancement (meaning that the fighter gains a feat at every level). These bonus feats must be selected from those listed as combat feats, sometimes also called “fighter bonus feats.”

Upon reaching 4th level, and every four levels thereafter (8th, 12th, and so on), a fighter can choose to learn a new bonus feat in place of a bonus feat he has already learned. In effect, the fighter loses the bonus feat in exchange for the new one. The old feat cannot be one that was used as a prerequisite for another feat, prestige class, or other ability. A fighter can only change one feat at any given level and must choose whether or not to swap the feat at the time he gains a new bonus feat for the level.

Half Elf:

+2 to One Ability Score: Half-elf characters gain a +2 bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation to represent their varied nature.
Medium: Half-elves are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Half-elves have a base speed of 30 feet.
Drow-Blooded: Some half-elves born of drow parents exhibit more drow traits than others—particularly many of the physical features of the drow—and have darkvision 60 feet and light blindness. This racial trait replaces the low-light vision racial trait.
Adaptability: Half-elves receive Skill Focus as a bonus feat at 1st level.
Elf Blood: Half-elves count as both elves and humans for any effect related to race.
Elven Immunities: Half-elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.
Keen Senses: Half-elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Multitalented: Half-elves choose two favored classes at first level and gain +1 hit point or +1 skill point whenever they take a level in either one of those classes.
Languages: Half-elves begin play speaking Common and Elven. Half-elves with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).

Background Story

Brok Thundershams :

An Orphaned Child raised by a partron of whom Brok doesn't know the name of all his life. He was raised in a forest by a stream and had food and training. He can recall the bruises, the fun he had as a child but he is unable to recall where.

He knows he Was given the name Brok Thundershams and his Sire was Someone who was a knight named Thundershams but of his mother he knew next to nothing.

Venturing out into the world, the naive Brok fell in love with Mercenery Captain, Alias Torsova and in turn she with him. With their band of warriors, they were a reputable group until a skirmish with orcs brought Brok low and in the confusion left behind. He would not see Alias until 6 years later.

A head wound caused a loss of his memories and Brok would have died if not for Leorna Whytewaters a witch in training who took care of him after stumbling on an unconsious Brok on his mount. 3 years later they were wedded with Brok having no memories of where he learnt his skills nor did he attempt to, for he was happy. Even with Leorna encouragements, he did not attempt to regain his memories for fear of losing her but she with the help of her Fey Patrons, managed to restore his memories, so great was her love for him even if it meant losing him forever.
Unfortunately a bandit raid during her ritual caused severe damage to the village where he resided with Leorna and although the bandits were driven off, it came with a heavy cost as he watched his wife's last breath leave her body even as he clutched her close as his returned memories begins its heavy assault. This coupled with his recent loss and trauma from his memories drove him temporarily insane.

The next 3 years was spent hunting down the remaining bandits and their deaths were brutal indeed causing now another aspiring inqusitor of Sarenrae, Sheila Bridget to begin to hunt him believing him to be a criminal seeking to hide past crimes. During one of their many skirmishes. They were chanced upon by Alias who upon seeing Brok was overjoyed but that joy was shattered into many pieces upon realising that Brok did not remember her at all. To make it even worse to her By Calistra, he had married Another! Jealousy reared in her heart and she sought to both attempt vengenace and gain her love back.into many pieces upon realising that Brok did not remember her at all. Adding to his troubles, the rather attractive Shelia now having learnt the truth decided that Brok needed a new love to be guided back to the light and thus with her goddess blessings, she sets off on her new goal......

Pursued by one who believed herself scorned.
Pursued by one who believed him to be needing guidance.
Pursued by one whose memory he cannot put down.

A recent invitation to explore the wild lands took very little to persuade Brok and he heartily accepted.

Brok Thundershams Appearance:

A Rather comely young Half elf with a rakish smile on his face. Dressed in simple clothing which doesn't hide his looks or rather seem to draw attention to him. Scruffy woven shirt with well made trousers with a riding coat hides his normal equipment exccept for his Bardiche, a weapon that has stayed with him for reasons unknown till now.

Red eyes greet you with merriment and his face in a perpetual half smirk that seems to draw the ladies and irk the men.
His hair touseled, clothes will kept and his weapons very well maintained. Morningstar as this side and twin sheathed daggers with one on his forearm peeks out from his travelling cloak.

Despite all that and his own charming self, he radiates an otherwordly aura as if he was raised on a different world.
