About Aine Baldevia

Crunch:

Background:
Aine Baldevia is one tough cookie. Since her beginning, she was fighting for survival. Her parents never had much, thus every little bit that she could scrounge up could mean the difference between life and death. She became very good at standing on her own from a very young age; fighting her own battles, taking care of herself. It wasn’t that her parents weren’t in the picture, but they had to focus on their own survival. She understood.

It was apparent from a young age how dog-eat-dog the world really was. For this reason, Aine mostly struck off on her own, rarely seeking company around a Shadde-Quah fire. She made decisions and choices for herself. Once her mind was made up, that was that.

Aine’s life has not been particularly exciting. She has spent most of it thus far exploring the Calphiaks and surviving. Once or twice she chased rumor of a dragon, but that never yielded any results. Mainly she travels from place to place on a whim.

One day she was sitting atop a mountain perch looking over the town of Riddleport, watching its patrons live their lives. A certain curiosity hit her. Most of her people are distrustful of the grimy town, but for Aine, it held a sense mystery. She had heard her people speaking ill of the town since she could remember, but she didn’t know a thing about it first hand. Aine had heard rumors of a booming gambling hall by the name of the Goblin’s Gold. This title only peaked her curiosity more; she herself had run into many goblins in her ventures through the mountains. That was when she settled it. She would see about this town, and this gambling hall. Aine was not particularly interested in losing all her coins, so she would find work in the hall.
