Braegan is a tall, athletically built mixed-blood who's been around the arena as long as anyone can remember. What only a few know is that he was born… or rather made… there. Braegan was an experiment by one of the Arena Masters, a being arcanically mixed from the blood of human, elf, and orc in an attempt to make the next breed of arena fodder. He was a mixed success. He was naturally physically gifted, though his stubborn, rebellious nature didn't make him a very good order-follower. So he grew up in the shadows of the arena, little more than a servant, though his natural talent at tracking and fighting, combined with his natural resilience, made him useful to the Arena Administrators. Need a fighter in a pinch? Toss in Braegan. Someone try to run away? Send Braegan after them. Need a new spell tested? Yep… Braegan. Suffice it to say, he's a little superstitious about magic and is itching to become more than an errand boy.
So here he is, 210 pounds of distrusting, mule-headed muscle looking to carve his way out of his position in life with little more than his big blade Longclaw, his bow, and whatever skill and cunning he can muster. If only they'd give him a shot as a gladiator instead of fodder.

Tactics:
General tactics/strategies: Braegan is all about options, flexibility, and teamwork. He's happy to sit back and use his bow while an enemy approaches, then quickdraw Longclaw and look for flanking opportunities to get the most out of each power attack. Weaken them up as they close, then butcher them with Longclaw. If it becomes obvious that ranged attacks can't hit (due to uber-AC or cover or what-not) he'll look for another ranged tactic or find a way to close to melee.

He also tries to take into account the actions of his teammates (putting priority to the character of other players over NPC's). "Pack hunting" is the way to win.

He'll also want to start every fight with a potion of Invigorate in-hand, drinking it as early as possible.

Raging: Wait to rage until the attack itself. And stay in the rage as long as melee is possible. Don't want to burn rounds between attacking using up his rage. One caveat: if he's been in rage for a couple of rounds, and he can probably make it back into melee in a couple of rounds, stay raging. Otherwise, he'll have to wait out his "rage burn" rounds before he can go into it again.

Enlarge Person Potion: Braegan should start every fight with one of these at his belt. Basically any time he knows he's about to spend a lot of time in melee, this is a good option for him, and he'll draw and drink one as a full round. More strength and reach are good. :)
