Personality & Appearance:
Bogorim is slightly less than normal height for a dwarf but of considerably more girth. And though of advanced age and food and drink stained appearance, he still cuts a fairly imposing figure when wearing his full armor, shield and with his heavy warhammer in his grip. When prepped for battle The old dwarf's long white hair is in a single pony tail tucked underneath his armour and his long white beard is in two thick braids tucked into his belt. His blue eyes, though faded with age, still show intelligence and wisdom and can be as hard as steel when he is determined. Although still almost always at least a little bit drunk, the stout dwarf has been drinking for so long it hardly affects him at all. He is particularly grim and abrasive, even for a dwarf but his gruff exterior hides a kind and somewhat wounded heart. Most times,he can be almost pleasant when very intoxicated. Except if you piss him off. Backstory:
He's an old dwarvin ex-cleric who several years ago had a severe test of faith that he apparently failed miserably. He has never spoken to anyone of what it was though there have been several rumours, some more colourful than others, drifting through the town for years. Since then he has allowed the Drink to take him and he is now merely a shell of his former self. While not quite known as the town drunk as his former deeds do still grant him a modicum of respect he is nevertheless a permanent fixture at Bertram's tavern. He is known by pretty much all of the town's residents. Although normally particularly grim and taciturn even for a dwarf, when deep in his cups he becomes garrelous and will often ramble on for hours about many of his past deeds. Most of the tavern patrons find his stories entertaining even though they know that the majority of them couldn't possibly be true. In general, he is pitied and seen as a harmless old dwarf. |
