Eh, you're thread got bumped off the first page without getting any responses and no one bothered to go back and look at it. Happens fairly frequently that threads get minimal responses before they get knocked off and no one sees them again.

fair enough, thank you

This is not a rules question as it not material provided by Paizo. It is from a 3rd party publisher.

Sure enough, but come on its been what? 19 days and no one can say that till now or even offer an opinion on the matter?

really, people?

this question has been posted since the 24th of last month and not a single reply?

The following is cut and pasted from the pfsrd, and my concern relates to the bracketed areas at the end of each paragraph:

"Starting a violent performance is an attack action, but it can be maintained each round as a free action. To start a violent performance, a bard must declare the effect at the beginning of her turn. She must then successfully attack an opponent with her bardic weapon. For the purpose of this attack, the bard’s base attack bonus is equal to her bard level. Any other attacks made the same round use the bard’s regular base attack bonus. Upon a successful hit, this attack deals no damage but begins the effect immediately. [ The effect continues as long as the bard successfully attacks an opponent at least once a round. ]

"Changing a violent performance from one effect to another requires the bard to stop the previous performance and start a new one as an attack action. A violent performance cannot be disrupted, but it ends immediately if the bard is killed, paralyzed, stunned, knocked unconscious, [ or otherwise prevented from taking a free action to maintain it each round. ] A bard cannot have more than one violent performance in effect at one time."

Am I wrong in reading that the two do not exactly coincide with each other? If I am, please enlighten me.

Thank you.

Can a weapon be used to attack the touch AC of an opponent? or is the attack considered a melee attack vs the opponents normal AC?

Okay so I have got presentation out of the way, so, if presenting were NOT an issue, then could channel energy be considered a mental ability?

Okay, why would a visible holy symbol not be presented? Seems to me that a prominently visible symbol on a character would be a presentation.

can a paralyzed cleric still channel energy?

For the purpose of making a pistol whip, would the pistol be considered having the light weapon property?

Okay, but does it apply as the Channel Energy class feature for choosing Channeling Feats?

I ask because it is named differently.

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

Where does the definition of a Class Feature end?

Is the Channel ability that an Oracle who has taken the Life Mystery count as a Class Feature?

Clarification to be sure please.

Can he use them as Flurry attacks? (i.e. I announce flurry of blows as my action. The first of my two FOB being a trip, and the second for a melee attack.

Can any of a monks 'flurry of blows' attacks be used for Combat Maneuvers? Disarm, Sunder, and Trip state that they replace a melee attack, so I was wondering about this possibility.

Thanks

I was just wondering where the Adventure Paths/Modules start reflecting the Core Rulebook published in 2009. I am having alot of fun converting Rise of the Runelords, but its quite an amount of work also.
