I've only had a chance to look at the other Oracle mysteries, and the only one I feel dubious about is Lore. Part of making this character is based on a 4th edition D&D warlock with the star pact, long before I ever watched Soul Eater. I loved the idea of a dark spellcaster with powers based on stars, madness, and the void of space, so when I really excited to see the Dark Tapestry mystery in the rules.![]()

I've played a Bladebound magus who's black sword was basically Ragnarok. It was hilarious. For this character, think if Crona was almost constantly in 'Homicidal Madness' mode with Cthulhu elements.![]()

![]() I first came up with this character's basic background when D&D 4th Ed. was released and I've been try to get him off the ground for several champagnes now (none of which lasted more than a few sessions). I would like thoughts on him and advice on what his role should be in a somewhat awkward party lineup. nicknamed Shriek (actual name Lucian Mor)

Known around the group as the 'Cthulhu cultist', he is an childlike, semi-insane pawn of dark, alien powers. I use the insane part to add humor and a bit of randomness outside of combat. Having to use the cleric spell list, I've focused on the fear-effect and debuff spells to start with. The problem that I'm having is I don't know what to do build towards, or what role to play in the group.
That's it in a nutshell. Any thoughts and advice is appreciated. Thanks. |
