Well, I think we should maybe check the non-magic chest first. I will get it.

Wasn't originally, but does kind of mesh well they way my character is currently statted....although my Wis isn't high, a splash could be beneficial. small buffs and the odd burst can't hurt.

I have a decent charisma..I can up my wisdom to 11 with the 4th level boost to cast spells....would mesh well with my character I think....

In that case I retract my action.

The chainmail is definitely heavier than a chain shirt. As for the spell interference...I have no idea.....

What about dragging the chest out of the beam and circle using a rope?

Hey DM boss dude, did Bjorn manage to find something to attach his rope to so they would not drop to the bottom if they set the trap off?

This might be the best way to proceed...tie yourself to the rope so that if you fall, the rope will catch you. Any idea where the trigger was that caused the pit to open?
