Bently watches the other party disappear beneath the glassy surface of the water and walks up to the water himself. He kneels down and scoops up some water in one hand and let's the water drop back into the water. He stares off quietly into the woods on the other side of the pond and finally takes a deep breath turns around and faces the party.

I think I should go too... This just isn't what I was expecting. The infighting and hurting of other people from Terrace for no reason just makes no sense to me. I apologize if I hurt your feelings and hope that if we ever encounter each other again it will be on good terms. At the very least you know I am the sort who would rather not hurt you given a choice.

Bently gives a little wave and turns around and walks into the water.

Bently rubs the side of his face where it is already turning red. He looks at Shiela with a look of Pity on his face....

I don't know what has happened to you... Shiela was it. But I Pity you... Because the Abyss has obviously hurt you very much. Whatever it has done it has made you weaker. Oh look how strong you are knocking the little Halfling around. It is a weak person who hurts a thing because they do not understand it or because it challenges their sense of understanding. But if people act like monsters and treat each other like they are less than people then WE all become monsters. What point is there to any of this if we just act like animals taking from one another at every chance. If people worked together to solve the Abyss instead of competing with each other than the Abyss would have been solved long ago.

Bently stands up and approaches the rogue.

You think I'm Weak because I care about people. Because I think humanoid life has value. Because even though I did not know your friends I think they deserved to be treated as people and not just as pawns to be taken off the board by another piece... Because I would stand up and say when I think things are wrong... I tell you it takes strength to look what you fear in the eye and extend a hand of friendship knowing that at any time you could be attacked just for being nice.

Bently raises a hand in friendship to shake the hand that matches the red imprint on his face.

Bently looks surprised by Korunar's words. The little halfling has had about all he can handle at this point.

You're sorry for there loss? Hah... What angle are you playing now Korunar. You weren't sorry when you climbed through a second story window and attacked some strangers with no way of knowing who they were. Trini wasn't sorry when she put those arrows through Simon and Jeremy's necks. Emerich wasn't sorry when he broke the enchantment that I had placed on those two. Instead of me asking these questions of them over a couple of drinks now we are asking over There dead bodies. Why? Because people saw something they didn't understand and decided the best policy was to start murdering people without having any idea of who they were or why they were here. Then you have the Gaul to treat these two like their untrustworthy when the dead bodies of their friends are under their feet. I swear you all are some of the worst people I have ever met. At least a Rats Nester Knows how bad a person he is. For goodness sakes... We were told there were other groups from OUR GUILD around. What if these guys had been one of them. Then would you have been sorry? Were they doing something wrong? YES!!! But who made you judge, jury, and executioner. Oh wait a judge, and Jury would have SOME idea of what was going on before they started killing people.... AND NOW, YOU ARE SORRY!!!! YOU DON'T GET THE RIGHT TO FEEL SORRY AND HAVE EVERYTHING BE OKAY... BECAUSE NOW THERE ARE TWO DEAD MEN WHO HAD FRIENDS AND FAMILIES !!! YOU ARE ALL EVIL MONSTERS!!!

The little Halfing is now shaking uncontrollably with fists waving back and forth, a wild look in his eyes.

Bently looks around at everyone staring at him and lowers his arms and grows quiet again.
and do you know what the worst part is? I helped...

Bently collapses to his knees and starts sobbing.

Bently listens to Korunar and is taken aback by his demands but can't find fault in the reasons he gives for them. As such he pipes in with his support, hoping this is the quickest way to a peaceful resolution.

You know... It's a good sign "Mr. Bloodaxe" is "choosing" to let you live... I would take him up on it...

Not to be a jerk but if that's the wanderlust trait, I'm pretty sure that it doesn't apply to tactical movement. Just overland travel.

Wanderlust
Your childhood was brightened by the new places you constantly saw as you traveled with your parents, who were merchants. Still excited by travel, you gain great energy when traveling overland.
Benefit(s): Treat your base land speed as 10 feet higher when determining your overland speed.

There are three movement scales, as follows:

Tactical, for combat, measured in feet (or 5-foot squares) per round.
Local, for exploring an area, measured in feet per minute.
Overland, for getting from place to place, measured in miles per hour or miles per day.

Human Shadow:
Halflings seem to pop up wherever humans are found, in part because they actively support and move with human explorers, settlers, and travelers without drawing attention to themselves. These halflings can use Stealth to hide behind creatures at least one size category larger than themselves, without any other source of concealment or cover. As long as the halflings are within 30 feet of a human, they gain a +2 racial bonus on Sleight of Hand checks and Stealth checks. This racial trait replaces keen senses and sure-footed. 3 people marked this as FAQ candidate.

On page 34 of the Advanced Player's Guide Final Playtest PDF, it is stated that:

Quote:
All natural attacks are made using the eidolon’s full base attack bonus unless otherwise noted. Eidolon attacks add the eidolon’s Strength modifier to the damage roll, unless it is its only attack, in which case it adds 1-1/2 times its Strength modifier.

On page 36, in the evolutions section, the rules for the bite evolution are as follows:

Quote:
Bite (Ex) : An eidolon’s maw is full of razor-sharp teeth, giving it a bite attack. This attack is a primary attack. The bite deals 1d6 points of damage (1d8 if Large, 2d6 if Huge). If the eidolon already has a bite attack, this evolution allows it to deal 1-1/2 times its Strength modifier on damage rolls made with its bite.

So, what happens if you take the quadruped base form (which receives only a bite attack to start with) and then spend one evolution point on the bite attack "upgrade?" Are there any rules that govern situations where there are multiple "bonuses" to the amount of strength damage that applies to an attack? Do the bonuses stack somehow, further increasing the amount of damage the eidolon gets from its strength (strength bonus x2 perhaps)? Or do they not stack at all, rendering the bite evolution upgrade useless for the above-mentioned eidolon? My intuition suggests that allowing some form of stacking would be fair, as the only way to achieve this would be to only have one attack on the eidolon. However, I'd prefer an official answer to this question, assuming there is one to be found.

EDIT: Furthermore, assuming that stacking is allowed, what happens when the eidolon Power Attacks? Does that damage get upgraded as well?
